Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a technology for managing a multifunctional IC card in which a plurality of card functions are integrated.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, cash cards of banks, credit cards of credit companies, mileage cards of airlines, and the like have all been constituted by magnetic cards. Further, these cards were issued individually, and were not integrated into one card. The reason that the integration was difficult was that the storage capacity of the magnetic card was small.
[0003]
On the other hand, in recent years, IC cards having a built-in IC chip are becoming widespread. IC cards include a contact type and a non-contact type. In the contact type, a metal terminal extending from the IC chip is provided on the card surface, and by contacting the metal terminal with an IC card reader, data can be written to the IC card or data can be read from the IC card. can do. On the other hand, in a non-contact type IC card, by performing wireless communication with an IC card reader, data can be written to or read from the IC card. The non-contact type IC card has a built-in antenna, and an induced electromotive force is generated by receiving a power transmission wave transmitted from the IC card reader side by the antenna. The generated induced electromotive force becomes a power source for driving the IC chip in the IC card.
[0004]
The IC card has a built-in memory such as a RAM, a ROM, and an EEPROM, a CPU, and a communication circuit, has a larger data storage capacity than a magnetic card, and can execute advanced information processing.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The present invention proposes to integrate many card functions into one card function by using the above-mentioned IC card. Thus, the IC card is called a multi-function IC card.
[0006]
According to this multifunctional IC card, cash cards of banks, credit cards, debit cards, prepaid cards (electronic money), mileage cards of airlines, commuter passes of railway / bus companies, etc., ETC (Electronic Toll Collection Systems: automatic) Toll collection system) Cards, cards for government services (official seal cards, Basic Resident Register cards, etc.), customer cards for convenience stores, department stores, and supermarkets, and point cards with points added according to the purchase amount be able to. As a result, the card user is released from the trouble of bringing a large number of cards as in the related art.
[0007]
However, while the above-described multi-function IC card is convenient, if it is lost or stolen, there is a concern that damage due to unauthorized use will increase. In other words, electronic money function, debit card function, credit card function, etc., which are directly connected to money, are mounted on one card, so if they are lost and maliciously used by malicious third parties at once, Massive damage can occur.
[0008]
In order to prevent the damage that occurs after the loss of such a card, it is important to contact each company providing each card function by telephone and stop using the card. However, the more functions a lost card has, such as the multi-function IC card of the present invention, the more complicated the procedure for suspending the use of the card in proportion to the number of functions. Therefore, it takes a long time to complete the suspension of use of all card functions, but it goes without saying that the longer the time is taken, the higher the potential probability of occurrence of damage increases.
[0009]
Also, it is hard to say that the card user sufficiently knows the telephone number for receiving the card stoppage report, and it is feared that it is very rare that the card user sufficiently knows all the cards.
[0010]
Therefore, it is desirable for a multi-function IC card to be notified of the suspension of use of the card quickly and as simply as possible.
[0011]
By the way, it is conceivable to ask a child or another person to use the electronic money card function included in the multifunctional IC card. In such a case, it cannot be said that there is no possibility that the debit card function and the credit card function are used by mistake.
[0012]
Therefore, it is desirable that the use of other card functions can be restricted so that only some functions such as the electronic money function can be used temporarily.
[0013]
An object of the present invention is to provide a technique for stopping or restoring the use of a plurality of functions included in a multi-function IC card according to the convenience of the card user.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided a management system for managing a multi-function IC card obtained by integrating a plurality of card functions, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems. When a stop request for stopping the service is received from a terminal on the side of the user who uses the multi-function IC card, the card function is provided to all companies that provide the card function targeted for the stop request. To send a stop instruction.
[0015]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, there is provided a management system for managing a multifunction IC card integrating a plurality of card functions, in order to solve the above-mentioned problems, comprising: When the card function is stopped and a recovery request for restoring the stopped card function is received from the terminal of the user using the multi-function IC card, the stopped card function is provided. A recovery instruction is sent to all the companies that have the card function recovery (return).
[0016]

[0064]
"Third embodiment"
In the above embodiment, the card function can be efficiently stopped while reducing the burden on the card user. However, in some cases, the person who thinks the card has been lost is actually just a closet at home. Re-issuing a multi-function IC card up to such a case has many disadvantages for both the user and the card provider. For example, the issuance of a multifunctional IC card requires a certain amount of time, during which time the card user cannot use the card, and the multifunctionality of the card will be very inconvenient. It would be difficult for the company to bear the multifunction IC card because it costs more to manufacture than a conventional magnetic card.
[0065]
In addition, when a card is found, it is burdensome for the card user to individually apply the cancellation of suspension to all the companies providing the card function.
[0066]
Therefore, in the present embodiment, a technique for releasing the suspension of the use of the card function while reducing the burden on the card user is disclosed.
