Description
【0001】

そして、キャリッジ15上には記録ヘッド20に液体としてのインクを供給するバルブユニット21K,21C,21M,21Y(なお、以下においては各バルブユニットを代表して、単に「バルブユニット21」として示す場合もある)が搭載されている。
そして、このカートリッジホルダ22には、インクカートリッジ23K,23C,23M,23Y(なお、以下においては各インクカートリッジを代表して、単に「インクカートリッジ23」として示す場合もある)が着脱可能に備えられている。
【0043】
インクカートリッジ23のインクパック25と前記バルブユニット21とは、可撓性を有する供給チューブ28K,28C,28M,28Y(なお、以下においては各供給チューブを代表して、単に「供給チューブ28」として示す場合もある)を介して接続されている。
【0044】

[0013]
The present invention has been made to solve the above problems, and an object of the present invention is to improve the performance of a check valve for a liquid container having a check valve for preventing the inflow of outside air or the like into the inside. An object of the present invention is to provide a liquid container, a member for forming a liquid container, and a method for manufacturing a liquid container that can be kept constant.
[0014]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is directed to a liquid storage portion containing a liquid, a flow path forming member connected to the liquid storage portion, and a liquid flow provided in the flow path formation member and communicating the inside and the outside of the liquid storage portion. A check valve provided on the same liquid flow path, the check valve restricting the flow of fluid between the outside and the inside of the liquid storage section to only one of the check valves. Comprises a valve seat and a valve element, wherein the valve element is accommodated in a valve element accommodating chamber formed on the liquid flow path, and the valve element accommodating chamber is provided with a valve recessed in the flow path forming member. It is formed by a body housing recess and a first flexible member that closes the valve body housing recess.
[0015]
Therefore, according to the present invention, the valve body accommodating chamber for accommodating the valve body of the check valve provided in the liquid container has a valve body accommodating recess formed in the flow path forming member, and the valve housing chamber is closed. And a first flexible member. As a result, for example, when the valve body storage chamber is formed by caulking rigid bodies, a dimensional error occurs in the valve body storage chamber, and the sealing performance of the valve body storage chamber may be reduced, ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, since a valve body accommodation chamber is formed by the 1st flexible member which has flexibility, joining property increases. As a result, the sealing performance of the valve body accommodation chamber is improved, and the performance of the check valve becomes constant.
[0016]
In this liquid container, the check valve allows the flow of the fluid from the inside of the liquid container to the outside and shuts off the flow of the fluid from the outside to the inside of the liquid container. Wherein the valve element is located on the outer side of the liquid storage portion with respect to the valve seat, and the valve element storage recess is not closed by the first flexible member. In a state in which the first flexible member communicates with the inside of the liquid storage unit and is closed by the first flexible member, the communication unit does not communicate with the inside of the liquid storage unit.
[0017]
According to this, at the time of manufacturing the liquid container, the valve housing recess is not closed by the first flexible member, so that the inside of the liquid housing portion via the valve housing recess is formed. The liquid can be injected into the After the injection of the liquid is completed, the valve body accommodating recess is closed by the first flexible member to form a valve body accommodating chamber. To allow only the flow of fluid to the fluid.
[0018]
Therefore, even if a check valve for blocking the inflow of fluid from the outside to the inside of the liquid storage section is provided on the liquid flow path, the liquid flow path from the liquid flow path to the liquid storage section through the valve housing recess. Liquid can be injected into the interior. As a result, after depressurizing only the inside of the liquid storage unit through the liquid flow path, the liquid is injected again through the liquid flow path and the valve housing recess, so that a highly pure liquid is injected into the liquid storage unit. Can be injected. Therefore, it is not necessary to provide a large-scale decompression device for decompressing the entire periphery of the liquid container, and the liquid container can be manufactured at low cost.
[0019]
In this liquid container, the first flexible member closes the valve housing recess by being thermally welded to the flow path forming member.
According to this, the valve body accommodating chamber is reliably closed, and the sealing performance of the valve body accommodating chamber can be further improved, and the performance of the check valve can be made constant.
[0020]
In this liquid container, the first flexible member is formed integrally with the liquid container.
According to this, the first flexible member and the liquid container are integrated, and the number of components can be reduced, so that the manufacturing cost of the valve element container can be reduced.
[0021]
In the liquid container, the liquid container may include a liquid container forming member integrally formed with the flow path forming member, and a liquid container recess formed in the liquid container forming member. And the first flexible member and the second flexible member are integrally formed to form a third flexible member.
[0022]
According to this, the first flexible member and the second flexible member are integrated, and the second flexible member of the liquid storage concave portion is formed to form the liquid storage portion. The sealing can be performed simultaneously with the sealing of the valve housing recess by the first flexible member. Therefore, the labor for manufacturing the valve body housing is reduced, and the manufacturing cost can be reduced.
[0023]
In this liquid container, the valve body includes a regulating unit that regulates an amount of movement in a direction away from the valve seat.
According to this, the opening and closing of the check valve becomes stable, and the performance of the check valve can be improved.
[0024]
In this liquid container, the valve body is formed of an elastic material.
According to this, the valve body can be urged in the direction of contacting or separating from the valve seat by utilizing the elastic force of the valve body itself. As a result, the control of the opening and closing of the check valve can be simplified, and the performance of the check valve can be further improved.
[0025]
In this liquid container, the valve seat is formed so as to protrude toward the valve body.
According to this, the adhesion between the valve body and the valve seat is increased, and the performance of the check valve can be improved.
[0026]
In this liquid container, the direction in which the valve element housing recess is provided is a direction perpendicular to the flow direction of the liquid flow path.
According to this, it is easy to house the valve body in the valve body housing recess, and it is possible to easily manufacture the liquid container.
[0027]
In the liquid container, a first liquid flow path, which is a part of the liquid flow path between the valve element storage chamber and the inside of the liquid storage part, is provided with a recess in the valve element storage recess. Are provided along an extension line extending in the direction indicated by the arrow.
[0028]
According to this, the valve body accommodating concave portion and the partial flow path that is a part of the liquid flow path are located on a straight line, and by forming one through hole for the flow path forming member, The recess for accommodating the valve body and the partial flow path can be formed at the same time, and the manufacture of the liquid container can be facilitated.
[0029]
In this liquid container, the liquid is ink, and the liquid container is an ink pack used in an ink jet recording apparatus.
According to this, the performance of the check valve provided in the ink pack used in the ink jet recording apparatus can be made constant. By providing the check valve so as to allow only the flow of the ink from the ink pack to the recording head of the ink jet recording apparatus, it is possible to prevent the reverse flow of the ink or the inflow of the air into the ink pack. it can. As a result, the degree of cleanliness and the degree of deaeration of the ink in the ink pack can be improved, and the printing in the ink jet recording apparatus can be improved.
[0030]
The present invention is directed to a liquid storage portion capable of storing a liquid, a flow path forming member connected to the liquid storage portion, and a liquid provided in the flow path formation member for communicating the inside of the liquid storage portion with the outside. A liquid container forming member provided with a flow path and a check valve provided on the liquid flow path and allowing only a flow of fluid from the inside of the liquid storage section to the outside; And a valve body accommodating recess provided in the flow path forming member so as to communicate with the inside of the liquid accommodating portion, and the valve body accommodating recess is provided so as to be closed, and the valve body accommodating recess is provided. A first flexible member that closes the valve body accommodating recess so as not to communicate with the inside of the liquid accommodating portion, wherein the check valve includes a valve seat; And a valve body located on the outside of the liquid storage unit, wherein the valve body is It is located in the body accommodating recess.
[0031]
Therefore, according to the present invention, when injecting the liquid into the liquid container of the member for forming a liquid container, the liquid can be injected into the liquid container through the recess for accommodating the valve element. Then, after the injection of the liquid is completed, the valve body accommodating concave portion is closed by the first flexible member, so that the check valve allows only the flow of the fluid from the inside of the liquid accommodating portion to the outside. Function.
[0032]
[0033]
The present invention is directed to a liquid storage portion capable of storing a liquid, a flow path forming member connected to the liquid storage portion, and a liquid provided in the flow path formation member for communicating the inside of the liquid storage portion with the outside. A method of manufacturing a liquid container, comprising: a flow path; and a check valve provided on the liquid flow path and allowing only a flow of fluid from the inside of the liquid storage section to the outside. The recess is formed in the flow path forming member so as to communicate with the liquid flow path and the inside of the liquid storage section on the outer side of the liquid storage section with respect to the valve seat constituting the valve seat. An injecting step of injecting the liquid into the inside of the liquid accommodating portion through a valve body accommodating recess accommodating a valve element constituting a valve; and providing the valve body accommodating recess with the inside of the liquid accommodating portion. To the first flexible member so that the first flexible member is And a closure stage for closing me.
[0034]
Therefore, according to the present invention, since the liquid is injected into the liquid container of the liquid container via the valve element concave portion, the injection of the liquid into the liquid container is stopped. It is not disturbed by the valve. Then, after the liquid is injected, the valve body accommodating recess is closed by the first flexible member. Therefore, in the completed liquid container, the check valve is provided with a fluid from the inside of the liquid container to the outside. Can be made to function only as the one that allows only the flow.
[0035]
That is, even if a check valve for blocking the inflow of fluid from the outside to the inside of the liquid storage section is provided on the liquid flow path, the liquid storage section can be moved from the liquid flow path to the liquid storage section through the valve body receiving recess.
[0036]
The present invention is directed to a liquid storage portion capable of storing a liquid, a flow path forming member connected to the liquid storage portion, and a liquid provided in the flow path formation member for communicating the inside of the liquid storage portion with the outside. A method of manufacturing a liquid container including a flow path and a check valve provided on the liquid flow path and allowing only a flow of fluid from the inside of the liquid storage section to the outside; A liquid container forming member integrally formed with the flow path forming member, and a liquid storing concave formed in the liquid container forming member so as to communicate with the liquid flow path. A closing step of closing the valve body accommodating recess, which is recessed in the flow path forming member and accommodates the valve body constituting the check valve, together with the liquid accommodating recess by a third flexible member; An empty space formed by the liquid storage recess and the third flexible member. In, and a injection step of injecting a liquid.
