この種のディスク形ブラシとして、多数のフィラメントを密集して並列し、該並列フィラメントを硬化後に柔軟性を富有する耐熱性接着剤により凝結して形成した帯状ブラシ材を、円板の外周縁に多数植装して形成した研磨ブラシが知られている。(例えば特許文献1参照)

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記特許文献1(特開2000−84860)に記載された研磨ブラシは、多数のフィラメントを密集して耐熱性接着剤により凝結して帯状ブラシ材を形成し、また、円板の外周縁にブラシ材植装孔を等間隔を以って多数設け、円板のブラシ材植装孔の各々に帯状ブラシ材を挿通し、その先端を円板の外周から外方へ放射状に延出させて形成している。このように予め帯状ブラシ材を形成し、円板のブラシ材植装孔の各々に帯状ブラシ材を挿通させて固定する作業は煩雑で熟練を要するため、ディスク形ブラシの改善が望まれていた。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、実施の形態を示す図面に基づいて本発明を詳細に説明する。図1(a)〜(e)は本発明のディスク形ブラシの製造過程を説明するための概略図、図2(a)〜(g)は図1のディスク形ブラシを構成するブラシ毛素材の例を示す斜視図、図3は図2の(a)のブラシ毛素材の断面を示す概略図、図4〜図6は図1(a),(b)のブラシ毛素材の端部を変形した形状の例を示す概略図、図7〜図12はブラシ毛素材にて形成したブラシ製品の斜視図(但し、図9(a)〜(c)と図11は正面図)である。

【発明の効果】
このように本発明のディスク形ブラシは、一端で束ねられた複数本のブラシ毛素材を軸方向に付勢して束の中心に貫通孔を形成しながら、略直角に折り曲げて放射状に配列し、貫通孔の周縁を固着して形成するだけで容易に製造でき、しかも小型に形成できる。したがって、このディスク形ブラシを使用して各種のブラシ製品も小型に製作できるため、ディスク形ブラシ、及びこのディスク形ブラシを使用して製作した各種のブラシ製品は、電子部品や精密部品等の各種小型ワークの表面や内径等を研磨処理したり、バリ取りをするための研磨や研削に使用できる等実用的である。
