Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a high-frequency composite component, and more particularly, to a laminated high-frequency composite component including a balun transformer and a matching circuit.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A balun transformer converts a balanced signal with a balanced transmission line into an unbalanced signal with an unbalanced transmission line, and is indispensable to a wireless communication device such as a mobile phone in recent years. Of the balun transformers, a stacked type in which line conductors are arranged and laminated in a substrate has the advantage that signal leakage on an unbalanced line is small and insertion loss is small. Such stacked balun transformers are described in Patent Documents 1 and 2.
[0003]
A balanced signal, which is an input / output signal to the balun transformer, is transmitted to an external circuit such as a transmission unit and a reception unit through an impedance matching circuit (hereinafter, referred to as a matching circuit unit). Since the balanced side of the balun transformer is usually constituted by two line conductors, it is necessary to provide a matching circuit section for each of the line conductors, for a total of two.
[0004]
Conventionally, in a multilayer balun transformer, the matching circuit section is provided outside the multilayer balun transformer. The balun transformers described in Patent Literatures 1 and 2 also disclose a laminated structure based on such a configuration. One of the reasons is that it is difficult to form two matching circuit sections with the same characteristics in the case of a stacked type.

[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
An object of the present invention is to provide a high-frequency composite component in which two matching circuit sections can maintain the same characteristics in a laminated structure including a balun transformer and two matching circuit sections.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-described problem, a high-frequency composite component according to the present invention includes an insulating base, a balun transformer, a first matching circuit, and a second matching circuit. The insulating base has a plurality of functional layers. The balun transformer section includes first to fourth line conductors, and is disposed between the functional layers. The first line conductor and the third line conductor are coupled to each other, and the second line conductor is provided. And the fourth line conductor are coupled.
[0008]
The first matching circuit section is connected to one end of the third line conductor, and the second matching circuit section is connected to one end of the fourth line conductor. The first matching circuit unit and the second matching circuit unit are provided between the same functional layers.
[0009]
In the high-frequency composite component having the above-described configuration, the balun transformer, the first and second matching circuit units are provided between the functional layers, so that the balun transformer unit and the matching circuit unit are provided inside the insulating base, so that the usability is excellent. Thus, a laminated high-frequency composite component is obtained.
[0010]
In the balun transformer section, the first line conductor and the second line conductor constitute an unbalanced line, and the third line conductor and the fourth line conductor constitute a balanced line.
[0011]
The first matching circuit section is connected to one end of the third line conductor, and performs impedance matching with an external circuit with respect to input / output signals to / from the third line conductor. The second matching circuit section is connected to one end of the fourth line conductor, and performs impedance matching with an external circuit with respect to an input / output signal to / from the fourth line conductor.
[0012]
The signal input to or output from the third line conductor through the first matching circuit unit and the signal input to or output from the fourth line conductor through the second matching circuit unit are balanced. Since the signal must be a signal, the characteristics of the first matching circuit unit and the second matching circuit unit must be balanced. In the present invention, the first matching circuit unit and the second matching circuit unit are provided in the same functional layer, so that the first matching circuit unit and the second matching circuit unit are different from the case where the first matching circuit unit and the second matching circuit unit are provided in different functional layers. The same characteristics can be given to the matching circuit unit.
[0013]
The high-frequency composite component according to the present invention can include a low-pass filter unit. The low-pass filter section is formed between the functional layers, and has one end connected to the other ends of the third and fourth line conductors. By having such a low-pass filter, power is supplied to the low-pass filter, and a transmitting unit or a receiving unit constituting an external circuit is formed through the third and fourth line conductors and the first and second matching circuit units. It is possible to realize a high-frequency composite component that can supply an operation power supply from which high-frequency noise has been removed.
[0014]
Further, by incorporating the low-pass filter inside the laminated substrate, the size can be reduced as compared with the case where the low-pass filter is configured as an individual component.
[0015]
Other objects, configurations, and advantages of the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to the accompanying drawings. The accompanying drawings are merely examples.
