Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a footrest structure on which a occupant places a foot.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, a footrest is provided on a vehicle seat.
[0003]
The footrest includes a mounting plate on which a seated person rests his / her feet, and a support pipe for supporting the mounting plate. The support pipe is detachably held by a holding pipe in a bracket provided below the seat.
[0004]
Thus, in a normal state, the support pipe can be inserted into the holding pipe to form a storage state in which the mounting plate is moved to the seat side. In use, the support pipe is drawn out of the holding pipe so as to form a drawn-out state in which the mounting plate is arranged at the front of the seat.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in such a footrest, the support pipe is positioned by the sliding contact resistance with the holding pipe, but the footrest in the stored state cannot be reliably held.
[0006]
In order to prevent this, it is conceivable to increase the sliding contact resistance between the support pipe and the holding pipe, but in this case, there arises a problem that the pull-out operability is deteriorated.
[0007]
The present invention has been made in view of such a conventional problem, and an object of the present invention is to provide a footrest structure capable of securely holding a footrest without impairing drawer operability.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problem, in the footrest structure according to claim 1 of the present invention, in a footrest structure in which a support bar of the footrest is supported so as to be able to be pulled out from a support portion, the footrest is moved to the support portion side. A lock mechanism is provided for preventing the support bar from moving in the pull-out direction from the support portion when the storage state is formed.
[0009]
That is, when the footrest is moved to the support portion side to form the retracted state, the support bar of the footrest is prevented from moving in the pull-out direction from the support portion by the lock mechanism.
[0010]
Therefore, the footrest in the stored state can be securely held.
[0011]
Further, in the footrest structure according to claim 2, while the locking groove is formed in the side surface of the support bar, the locking groove is urged toward the side surface of the support bar and the locking groove of the support bar in the retracted state. The lock mechanism is provided by providing a locking claw to be engaged and a release lever for releasing the engagement state of the locking claw with the locking groove during operation.
[0012]
That is, when the footrest is in the retracted state, the locking claw urged toward the side surface of the support bar engages with the locking groove formed on the side surface of the support bar, so that the footrest is pulled out in the pull-out direction. Is prevented from moving.
[0013]
When the footrest is used, the engagement between the locking claw and the locking groove is released by operating the release lever.
[0014]
Further, in the footrest structure of claim 3, an operation handle is provided on one side of the footrest, and a first bar extending from one side provided with the handle and a second bar extending from the other side. A first holding portion for holding the first bar so as to be able to be pulled out and a second holding portion for holding the second bar so as to be able to be pulled out; The sliding contact resistance between the second bar and the second holding portion was set smaller than the sliding contact resistance between the first bar and the first holding portion.
[0015]
That is, an operation handle is provided on one side of the footrest, and the pullout or storage operation of the footrest is performed by the handle.
[0016]
At this time, the sliding contact resistance between the second bar and the second holding portion far from the handle is set smaller than the sliding contact resistance between the first bar near the handle and the first holding portion. For this reason, the sliding of the second bar, in which the operating force from the handle is small, is performed smoothly.
[0017]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An embodiment of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a diagram showing a footrest 1 having a footrest structure according to the present embodiment.

In the present embodiment according to the above configuration, when the footrest 1 is moved to the bracket 16 side under the seat to form the storage state K, the support bar 12 of the footrest 1 is moved by the lock mechanism 31 to the bracket. The movement in the direction of withdrawal from 16 is prevented. Therefore, even when a large force is generated at the time of a vehicle collision or the like, the footrest 1 in the storage state K can be reliably held without increasing the holding force of the support bar 12.
[0031]
Therefore, it is possible to prevent the footrest 1 from accidentally jumping out without impairing the pull-out operability.

【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the footrest structure according to the first aspect of the present invention, the lock mechanism can prevent the footrest in the retracted state from moving in the pull-out direction of the support bar. For this reason, reliable holding can be performed without increasing the holding force of the support bar.
[0039]
Therefore, it is possible to prevent the footrest from inadvertently jumping out without impairing the drawer operability.
[0040]
Further, in the footrest structure of the second aspect, simply by bringing the footrest into the retracted state, the locking claw urged toward the support bar engages with the locking groove of the support bar, so that the footrest can be pulled out in the drawing direction. Movement can be prevented. When the footrest is used, the engagement between the locking claw and the locking groove can be released by operating the release lever.
[0041]
Thereby, the locked state and the unlocked state of the footrest can be easily formed.
[0042]
Furthermore, in the footrest structure of the third aspect, the handle provided on one side of the footrest can be operated to pull out or store the footrest. This can prevent the hands from being stained during operation.
[0043]
At this time, the sliding contact resistance between the second bar and the second holding portion far from the handle is set smaller than the sliding contact resistance between the first bar near the handle and the first holding portion. For this reason, the sliding of the second bar, which reduces the operating force from the handle, can be performed smoothly.
[0044]
Therefore, both bars can be moved in parallel, and the work of pulling out and storing the footrest becomes easy.
