本発明は、油圧ショベルやその応用機械である例えば解体機等の各種作業機に係わり、より詳しくは空気調和装置のコンデンサの設置構造に関する。

【従来の技術】
油圧ショベルや解体機等において、キャブ内の温度を調整する空気調和装置のコンデンサは、従来、エンジン近傍におけるオイルクーラやラジエータの冷却風流路の最前端に設置されていた。特許文献1には、ホークリフト等において、エバポレータと共にコンデンサもキャブ上に搭載したものが記載されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
近年、産業廃棄物業者やスクラップ業者が使用する作業機を中心に、前記のようにコンデンサをエンジンとは別の場所に取付けることが多くなっている。しかしこれらの業者が使用する作業機は油圧ショベルがベースマシンとなっており、これらの油圧ショベルは、狭隘な場所での作業を考慮した小旋回タイプのものが増えてきている。小旋回形の油圧ショベル等の作業機においては、旋回体上の機器搭載面積が狭いため、コンデンサの設置に困難を伴う。特にリフティングマグネット仕様の作業機は、外部ユニットとしての制御盤を設置するため、コンデンサの旋回体への取付けはさらに困難になる。

そこで、前記特許文献に記載のようにコンデンサをキャブ上に設置することが考えられる。しかし、コンデンサをキャブ上に設置すると、トラックに作業機を搭載して輸送する際、トラックを含めた輸送高さが輸送制限高さを超えてしまうという問題点がある。

本発明は、上記問題点に鑑み、空気調和装置のコンデンサの設置場所の確保が容易であり、かつ輸送制限高さの問題も解決しうる構成のコンデンサ搭載構造を有する作業機を提供することを目的とする。

(1)本発明の作業機は、空気調和装置のコンデンサを、キャブ上搭載した作業姿勢と、キャブの背面側に倒した輸送姿勢との間で姿勢変更可能にキャブに取付けたことを特徴とする。

【発明の実施の形態】
図1は本発明による作業機の一実施の形態を示す側面図である。図1において、1は走行体、2は旋回装置、3は旋回体、4は旋回体3に設置されたキャブ、5は旋回体3上に搭載された油圧パワーユニットである。空気調和装置は、油圧パワーユニット5に含まれる原動機(エンジン)6により駆動されるコンプレッサ7と、コンプレッサ7により圧縮された熱媒体を冷却して液化するコンデンサ9と、コンデンサ9により液化した熱媒体を溜める液タンク10と、キャブ4内に設置され、液タンク10からの熱媒体が導入されて気化するエバポレータを含む空気調和ユニット11とからなり、空気調和ユニット11において気化された熱媒体はコンプレッサ7に戻る。

図1、図2に示すように、本発明においては、コンデンサ9をキャブ4に取付ける。このコンデンサ9は、電動モータ12によってファン13を回転させてカバー14内に冷却風を導入し、熱媒体を通す多数の流路を有する熱交換器15に冷却風を供給することにより、熱媒体を液化させるものである。

前記コンデンサ9は、蝶番などの枢着手段16により、図1、図2に実線で示すように、キャブ4上に搭載した作業姿勢と、図1、図2に二点鎖線で示すようにキャブ4の背面側に回動させて下げた輸送姿勢とが取りうるように取付ける。図2のように作業姿勢ではファン13の作動により冷却風17の流路が確保されてコンデンサとしての作動が可能であり、輸送中はキャブから上方に突出しないかあるいは突出してもわずかにしか突出しないようにして輸送制限高さを容易にクリアするようにする。

このように構成すれば、キャブ4上には搭載機器がないために、小旋回形の油圧ショベルあるいはその油圧ショベルをベースマシンとした作業機であっても、コンデンサ9の搭載が可能になると共に、輸送時には、キャブ4の背面側すなわち後側にコンデンサ9を倒して姿勢を低くすることにより、輸送制限高さの問題も解決できる。

図3(A)、(B)は輸送時において、コンデンサ9をキャブ4の背面に設けた受板20に固定しておくための固定手段を示すもので、コンデンサ9のカバー14にブラケット21を設け、そのブラケット21に切り込み22を設けておき、受板20に軸23を中心に回動自在に取付けたねじ24にナット25を螺合しておき、輸送時には、軸23を中心にねじ24を回動させてブラケット21の切り込み22に入れ、ナット25を回して受板20にナット25を当接させることにより、コンデンサ9を受板20に固定する。このように輸送時にはコンデンサ9をキャブ4の背面に固定しておくことにより、がたつきを防止できる。

なお、キャブ4上に搭載した作業姿勢においても、図3と同様の固定構造でコンデンサ9をキャブ4上に固定することも可能である。また、コンデンサの固定構造は、上記例の他、フックやばね機構を用いたもの、磁石を用いたもの等、種々の構造が採用できる。

【発明の効果】
本発明によれば、空気調和装置のコンデンサを、キャブ上に後倒し可能に取付けたので、コンデンサの搭載が容易になると共に、他の機器の搭載も容易となる。このことは、特に小旋回形作業機の設計を容易化する。また、輸送時にはコンデンサを後倒しにしておくことにより、輸送制限高さもクリアできる。
