<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which achieves the safe, accurate and easy work of replacing the exchanging units. <P>SOLUTION: The game machine (S) has an exchanging unit (2) changeable for the body cabinet (1) and at least a reel unit (20) is assembled into the exchanging unit(2) through a frame (21) for mounting the reel unit (20). 【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、いわゆる分離型遊技機において、本体キャビネットからの交換ユニットの着脱が容易な遊技機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、パチンコ機や、スロットマシン等の遊技機を設置している遊技ホールでは、顧客のニーズや他店との競合で優位に立つために、遊技機の製造開発メーカーが開発した斬新なゲーム性をもつ、パチンコ機や、スロットマシンに新台入れ替えと称して、数か月に一度、あるいは、それよりも短いサイクルで遊技内容の異なる遊技機に交換するのが通例となっており、最近では、このサイクルが更に短くなる傾向にある。

そして、従来の遊技機においては、かかる新台入れ替えで遊技内容を変更する際には、遊技機全体を略まるごと交換しなければならなかった。しかし、遊技ホールにおいて、遊技内容を変更するための新台入れ替えの台交換の際、遊技内容の変更に無関係な部品も多数、同時に交換されることとなり、交換に要する費用がかかるだけでなく、資源の無駄になっていた。

そこで、近年、遊技内容に直接、影響するリールユニット及びこのリールユニットの回転リールの回転駆動等を制御する主基板（主制御装置）を、前扉に固定して、前扉ごと一体に本体キャビネットから着脱自在に形成して、交換可能とする発明がなされている（例えば、特許文献１、図１及び図３参照。）。
さらに、リールユニット及び主基板（主制御装置）を固定した前扉に、ホッパー装置（メダル払出装置）や電源装置を固定して、前扉ごと一体に本体キャビネットから着脱自在に形成して交換可能にする発明がなされている（例えば、特許文献１、図４参照。）。

さらに、近年では、遊技機を、遊技性に関わる部分と、遊技性に直接関わらない部分とに分け、このうち遊技性に関わる部分を交換することにより、全体を略まるごと交換することなく、新しい遊技機で遊技しているかのような印象を与えることができる分離型の遊技機の開発が進められている。
具体的には、スロットマシンの交換に際して、真に交換が必要な部材である遊技担当装置を特定し、かつ交換の効率化をも図った発明がなされている（例えば、特許文献２。）。

また、枠体等の構造用部材に前記リールユニット及び主基板（主制御装置）を設置した交換ユニットを、本体キャビネット内部に着脱自在に形成して、新旧の交換作業を容易にしたスロットマシンに関する技術がある（例えば、特許文献３。）。
上述したような遊技ホールでの新台入れ替えの際、遊技内容を変更するために遊技機全体を交換するのではなく、遊技内容を変更可能な交換ユニット等の部品だけを交換する、いわゆる分離型の遊技機において、交換ユニットと、この交換ユニットを収納する本体キャビネットの開口上部の寸法形状とは、両者のがたつき等を抑えるために、略同一寸法に設定され、両者の間に大きな隙間が無いように形成されている（例えば、特許文献３、第２図。）

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上述したような、いわゆる分離型の遊技機において、交換ユニットの取り付け作業や、取り外し作業は、交換ユニットの手前側や側面側の枠等の一部を握って、本体キャビネットから、ある程度、引き出して、その後、交換ユニットの枠等の上部等を持ち直して、取り外していた。また、新しい交換ユニットを本体キャビネットに取り付ける際には、上述した手順の逆を行うことにより、新しい交換ユニットの取り付け作業を行っていた。これらの交換作業において、交換ユニットの重量が手に加わらずに手前側に少し引き出す作業（或いは押し込む作業）と、交換ユニットの重量が手に加わって取り外して移動する作業（或いは移動して取り付ける作業）との作業を行う必要がある。かかる作業において、交換ユニットが本体キャビネット内部に収納された状態では、交換ユニットと本体キャビネットとの間に手を差し込むだけの隙間が形成されていないため、作業途中で、交換ユニットを掴んでいる手を一旦外して、手の掴む位置を変える必要があった。しかし、作業途中、手の掴む位置を変えるために交換ユニットを本体キャビネットからある程度、途中まで引き出した状態で、交換ユニットを掴んでいる手を離すことは、交換ユニットが不安定な状態になり、交換ユニットが手前側から落下する可能性がある。したがって、交換ユニットが手前側から落下しないように、常に交換ユニットを手で支持して、注意深く作業を行わなければならず、交換ユニットの交換作業が大変であるという問題点があった。

このように、交換ユニットを交換することにより、遊技内容を変更可能な、いわゆる分離型の遊技機と呼ばれるものにおいて、交換ユニットを本体キャビネット内部に差し込むことによる取り付けや、或いは交換ユニットを本体キャビネットから引っ張りだすことによる取り外し等の着脱作業を行う交換ユニットの交換作業が、手の掴む位置を変更しなければならないことにより、容易ではないという第一の問題点があった。

また、交換ユニットと本体キャビネットとの間に隙間を形成していないため、交換ユニットの着脱作業において、交換ユニットの周囲を本体キャビネットの内面に衝突させる場合があり、かかる衝突により機器の破損が発生するという第二の問題点があった。
また、交換ユニットの本体キャビネットとの間に隙間を形成していないため、交換ユニットを本体キャビネットの内部に差し込む際、交換ユニットの差し込み位置の許容量の範囲が狭く、正確な取り付け位置が解らずに、交換作業者がまごついてしまうという第三の問題点があった。

そこで、各請求項にそれぞれ記載された各発明は、上記した従来の技術の有する問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、次の点にある。
（請求項１）
すなわち、請求項１記載の発明は、上記した従来の技術の有する第一の問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、交換ユニットの交換作業を安全確実で容易なものにすることができるようにした遊技機を提供しようとするものである。

請求項２記載の発明は、上記した請求項１記載の発明の目的に加え、次の点を目的とする。
すなわち、請求項２記載の発明は、隙間部の上側及び下側の部分を、交換ユニットの空間として利用することができて、本体キャビネットの内部空間を有効に利用することができるようにした遊技機を提供しようとするものである。

請求項３記載の発明は、上記した請求項１又は請求項２記載の発明の目的に加え、次の点を目的とする。
すなわち、請求項３記載の発明は、隙間部の奥側の部分を交換ユニットの空間として利用することができて、本体キャビネットの内部空間を有効に利用することができるようにした遊技機を提供しようとするものである。

すなわち、請求項４記載の発明は、上記した従来の技術の有する第二及び第三の問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは、交換ユニットの着脱作業において、交換ユニットと本体キャビネットとの衝突による機器の破損を防止することができ、また、差し込む位置の許容量の範囲を大きくすることができて交換作業の容易化を図ることができるようにした遊技機を提供しようとするものである。

請求項５記載の発明は、上記した請求項１乃至４のいずれか１項に記載の発明の目的に加え、次の点を目的とする。
すなわち、請求項５記載の発明は、交換ユニットをしっかりと固定することができることに加えて、交換ユニットの固定位置の許容幅を大きくすることができ、交換ユニットの設置作業を容易なものにすることができるようにした遊技機を提供しようとするものである。

請求項１記載の発明は、次の点を特徴とする。

すなわち、正面側に開口する正面開口部（１１）を有する本体キャビネット（１）と、前記本体キャビネット（１）の高さ方向の途中に位置して前記本体キャビネット（１）を上下に仕切る中板（１２）と、前記本体キャビネット（１）の正面開口部（１１）の上部を開閉自在に塞ぐ上扉（３０）と、前記本体キャビネット（１）の正面開口部（１１）の下部を開閉自在に塞ぐ下扉（４０）と、複数の図柄が表示された回転リール（２３）及びこの回転リール（２３）を回転表示させるための駆動手段を有するリールユニット（２０）とを備えた遊技機（Ｓ）であって、前記遊技機（Ｓ）は、前記本体キャビネット（１）に対して交換可能に形成された交換ユニット（２）を備え、少なくとも前記リールユニット（２０）は、この前記リールユニット（２０）を装着するための枠（２１）を介して前記交換ユニット（２）に組み込まれ、前記交換ユニット（２）と、前記前扉（３）とは、着脱自在に形成され、前記交換ユニット（２）の左右には、前記本体キャビネット（１）の内面と前記交換ユニット（２）との間に手が差し込める隙間部（１００）を形成したことを特徴とする。

なお、ここで、「回転リール（２３）」とあるのは、周囲に複数の図柄を表示したものが、実際に回転するようなものに限定されるものではなく、液晶画面に表示されるようなものも含まれるものである。具体的には、例えば、パチンコ機等の遊技盤面の中央に設けた液晶装置を使用することにより、周囲に複数の図柄を表示した回転リールが回転するような画像を当該液晶装置によって遊技者に向かって表示するものも含まれる。また、ここで、「遊技機（１０）」とは、具体的には、例えば、スロットマシンであるが、上述した回転リール（２３）を有するパチンコ機や、その他の遊技機を含むものである。

また、ここで、「前記本体キャビネット（１）に対して交換可能に形成された交換ユニット（２）」とは、具体的には、交換ユニット（２）と本体キャビネット（１）との間の隙間部（１００）に位置して、図３に示すような両者間を押圧することにより、両者を固定することができるような隙間固定装置（１２０）のようなものを備えていることにより、交換ユニット（２）を本体キャビネット（１）から容易に交換することができるようなものを含むものである。また、具体的には、図８に示すように交換ユニット（２）の枠（２１）の左右両端に鉤状に形成されたフック（３４）と、本体キャビネット（１）の左右内面に固定されて、前記フック（３４）を引っかけて固定可能なクリップ（図示せず）とからなる着脱が容易な固定装置（１０）を備えていることにより、交換ユニット（２）を本体キャビネット（１）から容易に交換することができるようなものを含むものである。また、交換ユニット（２）は、リールユニット（２０）の回転リール（２３）を、その周囲に配置した図柄が異なるものに変更することにより、遊技内容を変更する際や、主制御装置（２５）の抽選確率を変更することにより、遊技内容を変更する際等に取り外されるものである。

また、ここで、「リールユニット（２０）を装着するための枠（２１）」とは、少なくともリールユニット（２０）を本体キャビネット（１）の内部に固定するため、枠（２１）の内部にリールユニット（２０）を固定して一体のものにすることができるような枠状の構造体であれば良いものであって、具体的には、例えば、図２に示すような略直方体状の枠状構造体を含むものである。

また、ここで、本明細書において、「手前側」とは、交換作業者が、遊技機（Ｓ）の正面側に遊技機（Ｓ）の方を向いて位置しているような場合のかかる交換作業者の手前側を意味する。すなわち、「手前側」とは、遊技機（Ｓ）の奥側から正面側へ向かう方向を意味するものである。
また、ここで、本明細書において、「奥側」とは、交換作業者が、遊技機（Ｓ）の正面側に遊技機（Ｓ）の方を向いて位置しているような場合のかかる交換作業者から見たときの奥側を意味する。すなわち、「奥側」とは、遊技機（Ｓ）の正面側から後方側へ向かう方向、別の言い方をすると、遊技機（Ｓ）の扉（３）側から裏板（１８）側へ向かう方向を意味する。

また、ここで、「前記交換ユニット（２）の左右には、前記本体キャビネット（１）の内面と前記交換ユニット（２）との間に手が差し込める隙間部（１００）を形成した」とは、交換ユニット（２）の左右のそれぞれに、本体キャビネット（１）の内面と、交換ユニット（２）との間に交換作業者の手が手前側から差し込めるような隙間からなる空間である隙間部（１００）が形成されていることを意味する。

（作用）
本発明は、交換ユニット（２）の交換作業において、交換作業者が、隙間部（１００）に手を差し込んで、交換ユニット（２）の一部を手で掴むことができる。このため、交換作業者は、交換ユニット（２）の交換作業において、一旦、掴んだ手を持ち替える必要がなく、そのまま、交換ユニット（２）を本体キャビネット（１）から取り外すことができ、或いは、交換ユニット（２）を本体キャビネット（１）に取り付けることができる。これにより、交換ユニット（２）の取り付け作業、或いは交換ユニット（２）の取り外し作業中、交換作業者は交換ユニット（２）から手の掴み位置を変更する必要がなく、一体的で連続的な動作により、交換ユニット（２）の着脱作業を行うことができる。これにより、交換ユニット（２）の交換作業を安全確実で容易なものにすることができる。

請求項２記載の発明は、上記した請求項１記載の発明の特徴点に加え、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、前記隙間部（１００）を、前記交換ユニット（２）の上端と下端との間の一部に形成したことを特徴とする。

本発明は、具体的には、例えば、図７に示すように、隙間部（１００）を、上端と下端との間の一部、すなわち上下方向の高さの途中の一部に、形成していることを意味する。また、これは、交換ユニット（２）の左右に隙間部（１００）を設けていない部分があることを意味するものである。
（作用）
本発明は、隙間部（１００）を、交換ユニット（２）の左右であって、交換ユニット（２）の上端と下端との間の一部に形成している。このため、交換ユニット（２）の左右であって、交換ユニット（２）の上端と下端との間の一部の隙間部（１００）以外の部分には、交換ユニット（２）を形成することができる。これにより、交換ユニット（２）の左右の一部に手を差し込めるだけの隙間部（１００）を形成し、かかる隙間部（１００）の以外の隙間部（１００）の上側及び下側の部分を、交換ユニット（２）の空間として利用することができる。これにより、交換ユニット（２）の左右全体に隙間部（１００）を形成するような場合と比較して、本体キャビネット（１）の内部空間を有効に利用することができる。

請求項３記載の発明は、上記した請求項１又は請求項２記載の発明の特徴点に加え、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、前記隙間部（１００）を、前記交換ユニット（２）の手前側に形成したことを特徴とする。

本発明は、隙間部（１００）を、交換ユニット（２）の左右であって、交換ユニット（２）の手前側に形成している。このため、交換ユニット（２）の左右であって、交換ユニット（２）の手前側以外の部分、すなわち、交換ユニット（２）の奥側には、交換ユニット（２）を形成しないようにすることができる。これにより、交換ユニット（２）の左右の手前側に手を差し込めるだけの隙間部（１００）を形成し、隙間部（１００）の奥側の部分を交換ユニット（２）の空間として利用することができる。したがって、交換ユニット（２）の左右の手前側から奥側にまで、前後方向の全奥行きにわたって隙間部（１００）を形成するような場合と比較して、本体キャビネット（１）の内部空間を更に有効に利用することができる。

（請求項４）
請求項４記載の発明は、上記した請求項１記載の発明の特徴点に加え、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、前記隙間部（１００）を、前記交換ユニット（２）の上方向に形成したことを特徴とする。

（作用）
本発明は、交換ユニット（２）の左右方向及び上方向において、本体キャビネット（１）との間に隙間の空間を形成することができる。これにより、交換ユニット（２）を本体キャビネット（１）の正面開口部（１１）の上部に着脱する際、交換ユニット（２）の左右方向及び上方向を本体キャビネット（１）の内面に衝突させることなく、着脱作業を行うことができる。これにより、かかる衝突による機器の破損を防止することができる。

また、このように左右方向及び上方向に隙間部（１００）を形成したことにより、交換ユニット（２）を本体キャビネット（１）に差し込む際、隙間部（１００）を形成していない場合よりも、差し込む位置の許容量の範囲を大きくすることができ、差し込み位置を簡単に得ることができる。これにより、交換作業の容易化を図ることができる。

（請求項５）
請求項５記載の発明は、上記した請求項１乃至４のいずれか１項に記載の発明の特徴点に加え、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、前記交換ユニット（２）の左右の前記隙間部（１００）には、前記交換ユニット（２）と、前記本体キャビネット（１）との間を固定する隙間固定装置（１２０）をそれぞれ設け、前記隙間固定装置（１２０）は、前記交換ユニット（２）の左右方向の固定位置を調整可能な固定位置調整手段（１２６）を備えたことを特徴とする。

なお、ここで、「左右方向の固定位置を調整可能」とは、隙間固定装置（１２０）による交換ユニット（２）の左右方向の固定位置が、予め定めた所定の一点ではなく、左右方向に固定位置を移動させることができることを意味するものである。具体的には、例えば、固定位置調整手段（１２６）は、図３に示すような位置調整ねじ（１２４）及び押さえカップ（１２５）からなるようなものであって、押さえカップ（１２５）を位置調整ねじ（１２４）に沿って所定方向にねじ込ませることにより、押さえカップ（１２５）による固定位置を位置調整ねじ（１２４）の軸方向に移動させることができるようなものを含むものである。

（作用）
本発明は、交換ユニット（２）の左右の隙間部（１００）において、隙間固定装置（１２０）が、交換ユニット（２）と本体キャビネット（１）との間をそれぞれ固定する。このため、隙間部（１００）を設けたにもかかわらず、交換ユニット（２）を、左右の隙間固定装置（１２０）を介して、本体キャビネット（１）の内側面の間にぶれることなく、しっかりと固定することができる。

そして、かかる隙間固定装置（１２０）は、交換ユニット（２）の左右方向の固定位置を調整可能な固定位置調整手段（１２６）を備えていることにより、交換ユニット（２）の固定位置が、左右方向にずれていても、かかるずれに対応して、交換ユニット（２）の固定位置を調整することができる。これにより、固定位置調整手段（１２６）を有していない場合と比較して、交換ユニット（２）の固定位置の許容幅を大きくすることができる。したがって、交換作業者は交換ユニット（２）の設置作業を容易なものにすることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
（第一の実施の形態）
（図面の説明）
図１乃至図６は、本発明の第一の実施の形態を示すものである。
図１は本体キャビネット内部に交換ユニットを取り付けた状態の外観正面図、図２は交換ユニットの外観斜視図、図３は隙間固定装置の外観斜視図、図４は隙間固定装置の縦断面図、図５及び図６は遊技機の分解斜視図をそれぞれ示す。

本実施の形態に係る遊技機Ｓは、具体的には、スロットマシンであって、図５及び図６に示すように、大きく分けて、正面側に開口する正面開口部１１を有する本体キャビネット１、本体キャビネット１内部に着脱自在に設けられる交換ユニット２、本体キャビネット１の正面開口部１１を開閉可能に塞ぐための前扉３とから構成されている。そして、本体キャビネット１の正面開口部１１は、本体キャビネット１の中板１２より上部に開口する開口上部１３と、本体キャビネット１の中板１２より下部に開口する開口下部１４とを備えている。そして、前記前扉３は、本体キャビネット１の開口上部１３を開閉可能に塞ぐための上扉３０と、本体キャビネット１の開口下部１４を開閉可能に塞ぐための下扉４０とを備えている。そして、交換ユニット２の手前側には、上扉３０が取り付けられている。すなわち、通常のいわゆる新台入れ替えの際には、上扉３０を取り外した状態で、交換ユニット２だけを交換することができるものである。

なお、本実施の形態において、「手前側」とは、交換作業者が、遊技機Ｓの正面側に遊技機Ｓの方を向いて位置しているような場合のかかる交換作業者の手前側を意味する。したがって、手前側方向とは、遊技機Ｓの奥から正面へ向かう方向を意味する。また、本実施の形態において、「奥側」とは、交換作業者が、遊技機Ｓの正面側に遊技機Ｓの方を向いて位置しているような場合のかかる交換作業者から見たときの奥側を意味する。したがって、奥側方向とは、遊技機Ｓの正面から奥へ向かう方向を意味する。さらに、本実施の形態において、右側とは、遊技機Ｓの正面に向かって対峙する交換作業者から見て、右側方向を意味し、また、左側とは、遊技機Ｓの正面に向かって対峙する交換作業者から見て、左側方向の意味するものである。

（本体キャビネット１）
上記本体キャビネット１は、全体形状が略箱状であって、図５に示すように、底板１５、側板１６、天板１７及び裏板１８からなる正面側に開口する筺体である。そして、この本体キャビネット１の高さ方向略中央部には、二つの側板１６の間に水平方向に中板１２が渡してある。そして、この中板１２は、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１の奥側内部に案内するためのガイド８０を左右側部に備えている。また、中板１２は、金属板からなるものである。そして、中板１２のガイド８０を除いた前端縁には上方に向かって９０度折り曲げられた立ち上がり片９４が形成されている。そして、底板１５には、電源装置４と、ホッパーユニットとも呼ばれる払い出し装置５とが固定されている。

ここで、電源装置４は、開口下部１４の底板１５の上面に取り付けられており、遊技店側が種々の設定を行うためのスイッチ等の操作部を有している。
上記電源装置４及び払い出し装置５は、交換ユニット２の交換に際し、必ずしも交換する必要のないものであり、交換時には設置されたままにしておけるようになっているものである。

また、側板１６の正面左側の下部には、前記下扉４０を係合させ、回転自在に支持するための本体係合部６２が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられている。
さらに、本体係合部６２の対向側の右側の側板１６には、下扉４０を閉めた際、下扉４０をロックするための突出片６９（図６）が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられている。

前記本体キャビネット１の開口上部１３には、交換ユニット２を交換可能に配置している。そして、本体キャビネット１の開口上部１３に交換ユニット２を配置した状態において、本体キャビネット１の内面と、交換ユニット２との間には、交換ユニット２との間に手が差し込める隙間部１００を形成している。

上記隙間部１００は、交換ユニット２の左右方向及び上方向には、本体キャビネット１の内面と、交換ユニット２との間に交換作業者の手が差し込める隙間空間からなるものである。

前記隙間部１００は、交換ユニット２の正面から向かって右側側面と、本体キャビネット１の正面から向かって右側の側板１６内面との間に手が差し込める隙間空間からなる右隙間部１０１を有している。また、前記隙間部１００は、交換ユニット２の正面から向かって左側側面と、本体キャビネット１の正面から向かって左側の側板１６内面との間に手が差し込める隙間空間からなる左隙間部１０２を有している。また、前記隙間部１００は、交換ユニット２の正面から向かって上端面と、本体キャビネット１の正面から向かって上側の天板１７内面との間に手が差し込める隙間空間からなる上隙間部１０３を有している。そして、こられの右隙間部１０１、左隙間部１０２及び上隙間部１０３により、交換ユニット２の左右及び上方に連続する隙間空間である隙間部１００を形成している。

前記押さえカップ１２５は、その有底円筒部の中心に内周面にねじが切られたカップねじ孔１２７が形成されている。そして、かかるカップねじ孔１２７へ位置調整ねじ１２４をねじ込ませることにより、押さえカップ１２５を位置調整ねじ１２４の長手方向の任意の位置に調整することができる。これにより、図４に示すように、本体キャビネット１の側板１６の内面から押さえカップ１２５の先端までの距離を調整することができるものである。そして、押さえカップ１２５の先端が交換ユニット２の左右の側面の枠２１を押さえることにより、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１の任意の位置に固定することが可能となるものである。すなわち、位置調整ねじ１２４及び押さえカップ１２５は、交換ユニット２の左右方向の固定位置を調整可能な固定位置調整手段１２６としての役割を果たすものである。

上記ガイド８０は、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１の奥側内部に案内するためのものである。このガイド８０は、図５に示すように中板１２の左右に位置して、前後方向に形成された２本の帯板レール状のものであって、交換ユニット２の下部に配置された移動体８１としてのローラーが回転移動可能なものである。

上記交換ユニット２は、遊技ホールにおける、いわゆる新台入れ替えの際、遊技内容を変更するために本体キャビネット１に対して交換可能に形成されているものである。
なお、本実施の形態では、交換作業の際、上扉３０は交換ユニット２から取り外して、上扉３０はそのまま交換せずに、新しい交換ユニット２を取り付けた後、再度、取り外した上扉３０を交換ユニット２に取り付けている。すなわち、上扉３０は、交換せずに使用しているものである。もちろん、上扉３０を取り外して、再度、交換ユニット２に取り付ける際に新たな上扉３０を取り付けることにより、上扉３０も交換することができるものである。さらに、交換ユニット２と、この交換ユニット２の手前側に開閉可能に取り付けられた上扉３０とから一体的な取り扱いが可能な扉一体型交換ユニットを形成することもできるものである。かかる扉一体側交換ユニットにおいては、交換ユニット２及び上扉３０は、両者が一体となった状態で、本体キャビネット１から取り外し、また、取り付けることができるように形成しても良いものである。

上記交換ユニット２は、リールユニット２０及び基板ユニット２４を装着するための四角枠状の部材を組み合わせた枠２１と、この枠２１の上部に位置してリールユニット２０の上方を覆う上板７０とを備えている。すなわち、リールユニット２０及び主制御装置２５は、これらを装着するための枠２１を介して、交換ユニット２に組み込まれているものである。また、交換ユニット２は、その下部に固定されてガイド８０に沿って移動可能な移動体８１を備えている。具体的には、移動体８１は、交換ユニット２の奥側左右の下部に回転可能な円板状の回転ローラーからなるものである。

本実施の形態に係る遊技機Ｓは、交換ユニット２の交換作業において、交換作業者が、隙間部１００に手を差し込んで、交換ユニット２の一部を手で掴むことができる。このため、交換作業者は、交換ユニット２の交換作業において、一旦、掴んだ手を持ち替える必要がなく、そのまま、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１から取り外すことができ、或いは、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１に取り付けることができる。これにより、交換ユニット２の取り付け作業、或いは交換ユニット２の取り外し作業中、交換作業者は交換ユニット２から手の掴み位置を変更する必要がなく、一体的で連続的な動作により、交換ユニット２の着脱作業を行うことができる。これにより、交換ユニット２の交換作業を安全確実で容易なものにすることができる。

（遊技機Ｓの交換手順）
以上のように構成されたスロットマシンからなる遊技機Ｓについて、遊技内容変更のための台交換は、以下のように行うことができる。

本実施の形態に係る遊技機Ｓは、交換ユニット２を取り替えることができる。すなわち、下扉４０を開けてから上扉３０の扉ロック機構７のロックを解除して、上扉３０を開く、そして、所定の電気的な接続コードの結線を取り外した後、上扉３０を上方に少し持ち上げることにより、交換ユニット２の延長枠体係合部６４から上扉３０の上扉係合部６１を外して、交換ユニット２から上扉３０を取り外す。

次に、左右の隙間部１００から手を差し込んで、左右の隙間固定装置１２０の固定状態を解除する。具体的には、押さえカップ１２５を位置調整ねじ１２４の基端側に移動するようにねじ込むことにより、側板１６から押さえカップ１２５までの距離が小さくなって、交換ユニット２と本体キャビネット１との間を固定していた隙間固定装置１２０の固定状態が解除される。これにより、交換ユニット２は、自由な状態となり、交換作業者は、左右の隙間部１００から手を差し込んで、枠２１の掴みやすい箇所を手で握ることにより、交換ユニット２を簡単に引っ張り出して、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１から取り外すことができる。その際、交換ユニット２の左右及び上方向に隙間空間からなる隙間部１００が形成されていることにより、交換ユニット２が、本体キャビネット１の内面に衝突することを押さえることができ、かかる衝突を原因とするような内部機器の破損を押さえることができる。

そして、新たな交換ユニット２を、上述した手順と逆に行うことにより、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１内部に装着することができる。
具体的には、新しい交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１の開口上部１３に差し込む。かかる作業の際、交換ユニット２と、本体キャビネット１との左右方向及び上方向に隙間空間からなる隙間部１００を形成していることにより、交換ユニット２の差し込み位置の許容量の範囲が大きくなり、かかる差し込み作業の位置決めを簡単なものにすることができる。これにより、交換ユニット２を差し込む正確な位置が解らずに、まごついてしまうようなことを回避することができる。そして、交換ユニット２を本体キャビネット１の開口上部１３の中板１２の上に載置した後、左右の隙間部１００から手を差し込んで、下向きに垂れ下がっている隙間固定装置１２０を横向きに設定して、そのまま押さえカップ１２５を位置調整ねじ１２４の自由端側へ移動するように回転させる。そして、押さえカップ１２５の先端が交換ユニット２の側面に当接することにより、交換ユニット２と本体キャビネット１との間を連結固定することができる。そして、かかる作業を左右の隙間固定装置１２０で行うことにより、交換ユニット２は、左右から強固に支持されて、ぶれることなく固定することができる。その際、交換ユニット２の左右の固定位置の微調整は、左右の押さえカップ１２５を同一方向に回転させることにより、簡単に左右方向へ、固定位置を移動させることができる。

そして、所定の電気的な接続コードの結線作業を行った後、上扉３０の上扉係合部６１を、交換ユニット２の延長枠体係合部６４に係合させて、上扉３０を延長枠体係合部６４に軸支させる。そして、開いていた上扉３０を再度、本体キャビネット１の開口上部１３側に向かって閉じる。これにより、扉ロック機構７が作動して上扉３０は交換ユニット２の手前側に固定される。これにより、新たな交換ユニット２の本体キャビネット１への取り付け作業が終了する。

Claims
