【発明の属する技術分野】
この発明は、箱形で前扉を有する遊技機、さらに詳しくは、内部装置を複数のユニットに分けて交換可能な分離型遊技機に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来の遊技機、例えばスロットマシンについては、遊技内容を変更するために遊技機の交換を行う際、遊技には直接関係のない筐体やホッパーユニット等も同時に交換され、交換に要する費用がかかるだけでなく、資源の無駄となっていた。この問題点を解決すべく、遊技に関わる部分のみを交換可能に形成した分離型スロットマシンが考案されている（特願２００２−１５６６２６）。これは、リールユニット及び基板を搭載した交換ユニットを、筐体から脱着可能に形成したものである。具体的には、交換ユニットを筐体内部に設けられた中板の上に載せて固定又は固定解除することにより着脱するように形成されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記した従来の分離型遊技機においては、交換ユニット以外の構成部品、例えばホッパーユニットなども交換する場合には、筐体ごと取り替えることとなる。しかし、筐体は内部装置と異なり、それほど消耗や損傷する物ではなく、内部装置の交換のたびに取り替えるのは無駄が多い。そこで、さらに、遊技に関わる部分と、その他交換頻度の少ない部分とに分けて分離可能とし、筐体を永久的に使用しようとするスロットマシンも考案されている（特願２００２-２６３８２）。

しかし、この所謂上下分離型スロットマシンにおいて、内部装置を電気的に接続するためのケーブルなどの電気配線を筐体に固定してしまうと、配線も筐体と共に半永久的に使用することとなり、設計変更や損傷による交換が困難となる。一方、電気配線を交換ユニット側に固定してしまうと、上部ユニット又は下部ユニットのどちらかのみを交換する際に、その交換ユニットに固定されている配線を取り外し、新たなユニットに固定するといった煩雑な作業が必要となる。

そこで、各請求項にそれぞれ記載された各発明は、上記した従来の技術の有する問題点に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的とするところは次の点にある。
（請求項１）
請求項１記載の発明は、交換の必要性のある内部装置をすべて筐体から分離可能に形成し、より資源の有効活用、交換費用の節減を図ると共に、交換作業の便に優れた遊技機を提供することを目的とする。

請求項２又は３記載の発明は、上記した請求項１記載の発明の目的に加え、次の点を目的とする。
すなわち、請求項２又は３記載の発明は、内部装置の電気配線が容易に行える遊技機を提供することを目的とする。

各請求項にそれぞれ記載された各発明は、上記した各目的を達成するためになされたものであり、各発明の特徴点を図面に示した発明の実施の形態を用いて、以下に説明する。
なお、かっこ内の符号及び図面番号は、発明の実施の形態において用いた符号及び番号を示し、本発明の技術的範囲を限定するものではない。

（特徴点）
（請求項１）
請求項１記載の発明は、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、請求項１記載の発明は、正面側に開口する箱形の筐体ユニット(1)と、筐体ユニット(1)の開口部(100)を開閉自在に塞ぐ前扉(3)と、複数の図柄を変動表示又は停止表示可能な図柄表示手段と、遊技媒体を払い出すための払い出し装置と、前記図柄表示手段及び前記払い出し装置の作動を制御するための制御装置とを少なくとも有する遊技機であって、第一の支持体（第一支持体(11)）に少なくとも前記払い出し装置を設置した第一交換ユニット(10)と、第二の支持体（第二支持体(21)）に少なくとも前記図柄表示手段と前記制御装置とを設置した第二交換ユニット(20)を設けてある。そして、前記第一交換ユニット(10)を、前記筐体ユニット(1)に対して前後方向に着脱自在に形成するとともに、前記第二交換ユニット(20)を前記第一交換ユニット(10)の内部に収納支持可能に形成し、前記第二交換ユニット(20)を、前記第一交換ユニット(10)内に前方から挿入して収納した後、前記第二交換ユニット(20)を前記筐体ユニット(1)又は／及び第一交換ユニット(10)に固定し、前記第二交換ユニット(20)のみ、あるいは前記第一交換ユニット(10)及び第二交換ユニット(20)を一体として、前記筐体ユニット(1)から着脱自在に形成し、前記前扉 (3) は、上扉 (30) と下扉 (40) とから成り、前記上扉 (30) は、前記第二交換ユニット (20) の第二の支持体 (21) に回動自在に取り付けられていることを特徴とする。

本発明は、複数の図柄を表示可能な図柄表示手段を有する遊技機、例えばスロットマシンなどに適している。
ここで、「図柄表示手段」とは、複数の図柄を変動表示又は停止表示可能な手段であって、具体的には、例えばモータにより回転する回転リール(23)や、液晶画面やＣＲＴ、ドットマトリックスなどの画像表示装置とすることができる。

また、「払い出し装置」は、遊技媒体を払い出すためのものであり、遊技媒体を貯留可能に形成されていてもよい。ここで、遊技媒体とは、例えばスロットマシンのメダルやパチンコの玉などのことである。
また、「制御装置」は、いわゆる制御基板といわれるものであり、ＣＰＵ、ＲＯＭ、ＲＡＭ等の電子部品を備えている。これらはケースに収納され、基板ユニット(24)を構成している。制御装置は、前記払い出し装置及び図柄表示手段の表示を制御するためのものであるが、上記手段以外のものを制御可能であってもかまわない。

前記筐体ユニット(1)は、正面側に開口する箱体であって、底板、側板(110)、天板、裏板(120)を有している。
前記前扉(3)は、前記筐体ユニット(1)の開口部(100)を開塞自在に形成されており、扉を閉めると遊技機の正面構造となるように形成されているものである。すなわち、図柄表示手段の表示を見ることができる図柄表示窓(31)や、遊技機を操作するための操作部(41)等を設けることができるものである。なお、この前扉(3)は、上扉(30)及び下扉(40)に二分割されている。そして、上扉 (30) は、第二交換ユニット (20) の第二の支持体 (21) に取り付けられている。

第一交換ユニット(10)は、前記筐体ユニット(1)内に前後方向に着脱自在に収納される第一の支持体(11)に、払い出し装置（例えばホッパーユニット(5)）を少なくとも搭載している。第一の支持体(11)は、内部装置を設置することが可能な強度を有する枠状の構造体であれば良いものであり、具体的には、例えば、直方体状の枠構造からなる金属枠のようなものを含むものである。そして、第一の支持体(11)の内部には、仕切り（例えば載置板(15)）を設けて、内部装置を設置しやすくしても良いものである。第一交換ユニット(10)は、例えばクリップなどの固定装置(8)により筐体ユニット(1)内部に固定されると共に、固定装置(8)を解除することにより、筐体ユニット(1)から取り出し可能となっている。

第二交換ユニット(20)は、前記第一交換ユニット(10)に前方から収納可能に形成された第二の支持体(21)に、図柄表示手段（例えばリールユニット(22)）と制御装置を少なくとも搭載している。第二交換ユニット(20)は、載置手段（例えば載置板(15)）や吊り下げ手段（例えばガイドレール(19)とガイドローラ(27)）などの支持手段(9)を介して、前記第一交換ユニット(10)に収納支持されるとともに、例えばクリップなどの固定装置(8)により固定される。第二交換ユニット(20)は、第一交換ユニット(10)内に収納可能であれば、必ずしも第一交換ユニット(10)に固定されていなくともよく、筐体ユニット(1)に固定されていてもかまわない。あるいは双方に固定されていてもよい。また、その設置位置も、第一交換ユニット(10)の上方、中央、下方いずれの位置であってもかまわない。そして、固定装置(8)を解除することにより、筐体ユニット(1)又は第一交換ユニット(10)から取り出し可能となっている。

（作用）
遊技機交換の際には、図柄表示手段及び制御装置の配置された第二交換ユニット(20)を上扉 (30) と一体で交換する。払い出し装置は、第一交換ユニット(10)とともに、筐体ユニット(1)に残しておくことができる。また、払い出し装置も交換する場合には、第一交換ユニット(10)を交換する。第二交換ユニット(20)は、第一交換ユニット(10)内に収納支持されているので、第二交換ユニット(20)も一緒に筐体ユニット(1)から取り出せる。筐体ユニット(1)は、遊技場にそのまま残しておくことができる。

（請求項２）
請求項２記載の発明は、上記した請求項１記載の発明の特徴点に加え、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、請求項２記載の発明は、前記第一交換ユニット(10)に、遊技機の内部装置を電気的に接続可能な電気的接続手段(6)を固定したことを特徴とする。

本発明は、遊技機の構成部品同士、又は遊技機の構成部品と遊技機外部の装置（例えばホールコンピュータ）を電気的に接続可能な電気的接続手段(6)を、第一交換ユニット(10)に固定したものである。ここで、電気的接続手段(6)は、ハーネス、コード、ケーブルなどの配線手段と、コネクタなどの接続手段の他に、前記配線手段をカバーする部材（例えばケーブルダクト(62)）も含む。

なお、前記電気的接続手段(6)の固定位置は、第一交換ユニット(10)の背面側とするのが好ましいが、これには限られず、例えば側面側に固定してもよい。
（作用）
本発明によれば、第二交換ユニット(20)に設置されている図柄表示手段や制御装置と、第一交換ユニット(10)に固定されている電気的接続手段(6)との接続を外すことにより、第二交換ユニット(20)と筐体ユニット(1)及び第一交換ユニット(10)との電気的接続が断絶され、第二交換ユニット(20)を筐体ユニット(1)から取り出すことができる。すなわち、ケーブルコネクタの着脱のみで、面倒な配線（ケーブルの取り付け）作業は行わなくてよい。なお、以下「配線作業」という場合には、配線ケーブルの取り付け作業のことを言うものとし、コネクタの接続及び取り外し等は含まないものとする。

また、第一交換ユニット(10)の交換は、第二交換ユニット(20)の交換と同時に行うことができ、この際には電気的接続手段(6)の接続を外す作業は必要ない。また、電気的接続手段(6)も第一交換ユニット(10)と共に適度な頻度で交換されることになる。
このように、第一交換ユニット(10)に電気配線をあらかじめ取り付けておくことにより、第二交換ユニット(20)の交換時にも、第一交換ユニット(10)の交換時にも、面倒な配線作業を行う必要がない。

（請求項３）
請求項３記載の発明は、上記した請求項１又は２記載の発明の特徴点に加え、次の点を特徴とする。
すなわち、請求項３記載の発明は、前記筐体ユニット(1)に、ホールコンピュータと接続可能な集中端子板(60)と、外部電源装置に接続可能な電源部(61)とを少なくとも設け、前記第一交換ユニット(10)に、前記集中端子板(60)及び電源部(61)及び遊技機の内部装置を電気的に接続可能な電気的接続手段(6)を固定したことを特徴とする。

前記集中端子板(60)は、遊技機の内部装置とホールコンピュータを接続するためのものである。ホールコンピュータは、各遊技機の作動状況の把握やロック管理などを行うようになっており、ホールに設置されている遊技機を総合的に管理するものである。また、前記電源部(61)は、遊技機の主電源をとるためのものであり、電源部(61)から電源ユニット(4)などの内部装置を介して、遊技機内の電子機器に送電するようになっている。

本発明においては、集中端子板(60)と遊技機の構成部品、電源部(61)と遊技機の構成部品、そして各構成部品同士を電気的に接続可能な電気的接続手段(6)が、第一交換ユニット(10)に固定されている。
（作用）
第二交換ユニット(20)に設置されている図柄表示手段や制御装置と、第一交換ユニット(10)に固定されている電気的接続手段(6)との接続を外すことにより、第二交換ユニット(20)と筐体ユニット(1)及び第一交換ユニット(10)との電気的接続が断絶され、第二交換ユニット(20)を筐体ユニット(1)から取り出すことができる。

また、第一交換ユニット(10)の電気的接続手段(6)と集中端子板(60)及び電源部(61)との接続を外すことにより、第一交換ユニット(10)及び第二交換ユニット(20)と筐体ユニット(1)との電気的接続が断絶され、第一交換ユニット(10)及び第二交換ユニット(20)を筐体ユニット(1)から取り出すことができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明を表す好適な実施の形態を、遊技機としてスロットマシンを例に図面に基づき説明する。

本実施の形態におけるスロットマシンＳは、図１に示すように、大きく分けて、正面側に開口部100を有する筐体ユニット１、筐体ユニット１の開口部100内に着脱自在に収納される交換ユニット２、前記開口部100を開閉可能に塞ぐ前扉３とから構成されており、前記交換ユニット２は、第一交換ユニット10及び第一交換ユニット10内に収納可能な第二交換ユニット20とから構成され、前記前扉３は、上扉30及び下扉40とから構成されている。

（筐体ユニット１）
筐体ユニット１は、図１に示すように、底板及び天板及び側板110及び裏板120からなる正面側に開口する箱体である。
前記裏板120の右上方には、遊技機とホールコンピュータとを接続するための集中端子板60が設けられており、裏板120の左下方には、下部スピーカ50が取り付けられている。また、裏板120の右端中央部よりも若干下側には、遊技機の主電源をとるための電源部61が設けられている。そして、前記側板110の内側面手前側には、後述する交換ユニット２を固定するための固定装置８が、上下に二個ずつ取り付けられている。

筐体ユニット１は、台交換の際にもホールに設置したままにしておけるものであり、破損等しない限り、半永久的に使用可能である。また、図示した例では、筐体ユニット１はスロットマシン一機に対応したものとなっているが、ホールの「島」と呼ばれる遊技機設置場所に、複数の交換ユニット２を並列して収納可能な筐体ユニット１を設置することも可能である。すなわち、図６に示すように、筐体ユニット１を内部に縦仕切130を設けた箱体として形成し、縦仕切130により形成される開口部100a〜100dに、第一交換ユニット10を収納固定するようにしたものである。このように形成すれば、筐体ユニット１の設置の手間が無く、台交換作業を楽に行うことができる。

（交換ユニット２）
交換ユニット２は、スロットマシンＳの内部装置を搭載可能であると共に、前記筐体ユニット１の内部に着脱自在に収納可能な構造体であり、第一交換ユニット10及び第二交換ユニット20からなる。
第一交換ユニット10は、筐体ユニット１の開口部100内に収納固定されるものであり、第二交換ユニット20は、支持手段９を介して第一交換ユニット10に支持されるとともに、筐体ユニット１の開口上部101内に固定されるものである。

（第一交換ユニット10）
第一交換ユニット10は、種々の部品を設置あるいは固定するための第一支持体11と、電源ユニット４及び払い出し装置としてのホッパーユニット５及び電気的接続手段６を有している。

第一支持体11は、図３に示すように、横枠12及び縦枠13及び側枠14を略直方体状に組み立ててなる金属枠であり、底板18を有すると共に、高さ方向略中央部には、支持手段９としての載置板15が水平に固定されている。第一支持体11の正面側の縦枠13には、下扉40を開閉自在に支持するための係合ピン16が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられており、係合ピン16の対向側の縦枠13には、ロック機構７としての突片17が設けられている。また、第一支持体11の背面側には、電気的接続手段６としてのケーブルダクト62及びコネクタブラケット63が取り付けられているが、これについては後述する。

前記電源ユニット４は、前記載置板15の下面に取り付けられ、特に図示しないが電源装置や設定変更装置70が内蔵されており、正面側にはスロットマシンＳの主電源を入れるための電源スイッチや遊技機の設定を変更するためのスイッチ等を有している。また、前記ホッパーユニット５は、メダルを貯留すると共に払い出すためのものであり、第一支持体11の底板18に設置されるものである。

第一交換ユニット10は、筐体ユニット１の開口部100内に収納され、固定装置８により固定される。ここで、固定装置は、第一支持体11の正面側縦枠13に設けられたフックと、筐体ユニット１の側板110内面側に取り付けられたクリップとすることができるが、これに限られず、第一交換ユニット10を筐体ユニット１内に固定できるものであればよい。そして、第一交換ユニット10は、台交換の際にも筐体ユニット１内に設置したままにしておけるものであり、電気配線やホッパーユニット５の損傷等により交換する場合には、筐体ユニット１から取り外す。

（第二交換ユニット20）
第二交換ユニット20は、種々の部品を設置あるいは固定するための第二支持体21と、図柄表示手段としてのリールユニット22及び基板ユニット24とから形成されている。
前記第二支持体21の正面側には、上扉30を開閉自在に支持するための係合ピン25が、上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられており、係合ピン25の対向側には、ロック機構７としての突片26が設けられている。

前記リールユニット22は、周囲に複数の図柄が表示された三個の回転リール23と、各回転リール23を回転させるための駆動モータを有している。
前記基板ユニット24は、前記リールユニット22の上方に載置された収納ケースであり、特に図示しないが、遊技及びスロットマシンＳの作動を制御するための主基板ＲＯＭ80と、各種演出を行うための副基板ＲＯＭ90とを有している。前記主基板ＲＯＭ80及び副基板ＲＯＭ90は、スロットマシンＳの制御装置として機能するものである。また、基板ユニット24には、内蔵されている各基板とリールユニットを電気的に接続すると共に、第一交換ユニット10の電気的接続手段６に接続するための第二ユニットケーブル67がとりつけられている。

第二交換ユニット20は、第一交換ユニット10の載置板15の上に載置収納され、固定装置８により筐体ユニット１に固定される。第二交換ユニット20は、台交換のたびに新たなものと取り替えられる。
なお、第二交換ユニット20を第一交換ユニット10に固定してもよい。この場合には、固定装置８を第一交換ユニット10の第一支持体11（例えば縦枠13や載置板15）に設ければよい。

（上扉30）
上扉30は、第二交換ユニット20の第二支持体21に回動自在かつロック可能に形成されている板状の扉であり、図１に示すように、略中央部に前記回転リール23の図柄を正面側から見ることができる図柄表示窓31を有し、周囲に飾り部33を設けてある。そして、種々の表示を行うための表示装置32が設けられているものである。

ここで、前記飾り部33は、ランプ等により形成しても良く、入賞の報知その他の演出時にランプが点滅するようにしてもよい。また、前記表示装置32は、７セグメントＬＥＤ等により数字を表示するものや、特に図示しないが、画像を表示するための液晶画面あるいはＣＲＴなどとしてもよい。
さらに、図２に示すように、上扉30の裏面には、前記係合ピン25に係合可能な上扉係合部35が上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられており、上扉係合部65の対向側には、ロック機構７が設けられている。ロック機構７は、扉を閉めることによりバネで付勢されたフックが第二交換ユニット20の突片26に係合してロック状態となり、解錠手段（図示せず）により前記フックと突片26との係合が外れてロック解除されるように形成されている。また、上扉30の裏面上部の左右には、種々の音声を出力するための上部スピーカ34が設けられている。

上扉30は、第二交換ユニット20を第一交換ユニット10に収納し筐体ユニット１に固定した状態で、筐体ユニット１の開口上部101を閉塞する。
（下扉40）
下扉40は、前記上扉30よりも幅厚の扉であり、第一交換ユニット10の縦枠13に回動自在かつロック可能に形成されているものである。

下扉40の上部は、図１に示すように、スロットマシンを作動させるための操作部41となっており、下扉40の上面は、閉扉時においては、上扉30よりも前側に突出するようになっている。また、下部には払い出されたメダルを溜めておくためのメダル皿43が形成されており、下扉40の略中央部には、遊技内容その他の表示をするための下パネル45が嵌め込まれている。この下パネル45は、下扉40本体から着脱自在に形成されている。

前記操作部41としては、下扉40の上面右端にはメダル投入口42及び上面左側に設けられたベットスイッチ、正面側にはスタートスイッチ及びストップスイッチ及び鍵穴44が設けられている。なお、ベットスイッチとは、貯留メダルをメダル投入に代えるためのものであり、スタートスイッチ及びストップスイッチは、回転リール23の回転を開始及び停止させるためのものである。また、鍵穴44は、前扉３を解錠するためのものであり、この穴に所定の鍵を差し込んで回すと、下扉40のロックが解除されるものである。

さらに、図２に示すように、下扉40の裏面側には、前記メダル投入口42から投入されたメダルを誘導しながらメダルの正偽を判断するためのメダル投入装置46が設けられている。また、下扉40の裏面には、第一交換ユニット10の係合ピン16と係合可能な下扉係合部47が上下方向に間隔をおいて二つ設けられており、下扉係合部47の対向側には、ロック機構７が設けられている。

下扉40は、第一交換ユニット10を筐体ユニット１に収納固定した状態で、筐体ユニット１の開口下部102を閉塞する。
（電気的接続手段６）
ここで、電気的接続手段６について述べる。
電気的接続手段６は、スロットマシンＳに内設された各構成部品を電気的に接続するための手段であり、ケーブルなどの配線手段と、コネクタなどの接続手段を含む。そして、電気的接続手段６は、大別すると、第一交換ユニット10に固定される第一ユニットケーブル66と、第二交換ユニット20に接続され、交換時には第二交換ユニット20とともに第一交換ユニット10から取り外される第二ユニットケーブル67と、上下前扉に取り付けられた上扉ケーブル68及び下扉コネクタ69に分けられる。

第一ユニットケーブル66は、図３、図４に示すように、第一交換ユニット10の第一支持体11の背面側に設けられたケーブルダクト62及びコネクタブラケット63に収納されている。コネクタブラケット63は、第一支持体11の上端奥側に、側枠14にわたって設けられた箱体であり、正面側には第一ユニットコネクタ64が形成されている。そして、コネクタブラケット63の下部には、載置板15の下方まで伸びる筒状のケーブルダクト62が取り付けられている。第一ユニットケーブル66は、その一端は前記第一ユニットコネクタ64に接続し、他端は、ケーブルダクト62の下端部から出て、電源ユニット４、ホッパーユニット５にそれぞれ接続されていると共に、下扉40の下扉コネクタ69と接続可能な接続部を有している。さらに、コネクタブラケット63の下面又は背面から出て、筐体ユニット１の集中端子板の接続端子と接続可能な接続部を有している。

なお、電源ユニット４には、筐体ユニット１の電源部61と接続可能な電源ケーブル65が取り付けられている。
第二ユニットケーブル67は、図３、図４に示すように、その一端は基板ユニット24に取り付けられ、他端は、リールユニット22に接続されると共に、第一ユニットコネクタ64に接続可能な接続部を有している。そして、第二ユニットケーブル67を第一ユニットコネクタ64と接続することにより、第二交換ユニット20が電源ユニット４及びホッパーユニット５及び集中端子板60その他の内部装置と電気的に接続されるものである。第二交換ユニット20を交換する際には、第二ユニットケーブル67と第一ユニットコネクタ64との接続を外し、第二交換ユニット20を取り出せばよいので、面倒な配線作業を行う必要がない。

上扉ケーブル68は、図２に示すように、その一端は、表示装置32や飾り部33のランプ等の電子部品を制御するための制御基板に接続され、他端は、第一ユニットコネクタ64に接続可能な接続部と、基板ユニット24と接続可能な接続部を有している。そして、上扉ケーブル68を第一ユニットコネクタ64及び基板ユニット24と接続することにより、上扉30の電子部品と電源ユニット４及びホッパーユニット５及び基板ユニット24その他の内部装置と電気的に接続されるものである。
