この発明は、タイヤ成形サービサーに於ける補強材の貼付け方法、その貼付け装置及びタイヤの構造に係わり、更に詳しくは帯状材料及び補強帯状材料の切断装置の寿命を延ばし、帯状材料の補強コードの露出防止と、タイヤユニフォミティーを向上させたタイヤ成形サービサーに於ける補強材の貼付け方法、その貼付け装置及びタイヤの構造に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、タイヤの成形工程において帯状材料を複数毎積層させて成形ドラムに供給し巻付ける場合、タイヤ成形サービサーのコンベヤ上で第1の帯状材料と第2の帯状材料との先端位置をずらせて積層させる方法が行われている。これは、成形ドラム上において、ラップスプライス(重ね貼合わせ)位置をずらせることにより剛性バランス,重量バランスを調整し、タイヤユニフォミティーを向上させる目的から行われている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

ところで、タイヤビード部に1層目のカーカス部材を巻上げ、その外側に2層目のカーカス部材を巻付けた2プライカーカス構造のタイヤを製造する場合、タイヤ成形サービサーの搬送コンベヤ上においてカーカス材料の長手方向両端部に細幅の補強帯状材料(一般にチエーファまたはフィニッシャーと呼称されている)を貼付け、この補強帯状材料を貼付けた帯状材料を成形ドラムの略周長(成形ドラムの周長+貼付け代)に対応する長さで切断装置のカッターにより切断し、その後、成形ドラム上に供給して筒状に巻付けて端末部を貼付ける方法が行われている。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明は上記目的を達成するため、この発明のタイヤ成形サービサーに於ける補強材の貼付け方法は、左右一対の補強帯状材料の先端貼付け位置を帯状材料の先端から後方側に所定距離ずらせて貼付け、この積層帯状材料を成形ドラム上に供給して巻付ける際、前記帯状材料の前後端末の貼付け位置と、補強帯状材料の前後端末の貼付け位置とをずらせた状態で貼付けることを要旨とするものである。
