本出願人は上記課題について種々検討した結果、セラミドと乳酸菌(特に有胞子乳酸菌)、好ましくはペプチドを組み合わせることによって、肌の状態の相乗的改善効果に加え、便通改善、疲労回復、肩こり等の軽減なども併せて期待でき総合的に肌の健康を維持する効果のある美容食品を開発するに至った。従来乳酸菌とペプチドを組み合わせた食品(特許文献3、特許文献4)や、コラーゲンペプチドとセラミドを組み合わせた食品、有胞子乳酸菌を添加した食品(特許文献5)は市販されていたが、本発明の構成を直接教示する例はない。
