【0049】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
TECHNICAL FIELD The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a pressure-sensitive postcard having excellent confidentiality and high concealment properties, in which confidential information is not deciphered by a third party even if it is watermarked with light before opening.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, what is called a "crimp postcard" instead of a sealed letter has been used in various fields as a means for transmitting confidential information. The following is an example of this configuration. In other words, using a paper coated with a re-peelable pressure-sensitive adhesive that can be adhered by applying pressure to the base paper, after printing the confidential information, fold it in two or three, and fold it through the pressure roll. This is a type that manufactures postcards by bonding confidential information. After receiving the compressed postcard, the recipient peels off the bonded confidential surface and reads the confidential information. At this time, the peeled surface is devised so as not to be re-adhered by a normal method, so that it is excellent in tamper resistance and secures confidentiality.
[0003]
As described above, the confidential information is simple and effective as a means of transmitting the confidential information. However, when the compressed postcard is watermarked with strong light, the confidential information is poorly concealed, so that the confidential information may be decrypted by a third party. Was pointed out.
[0004]
In order to solve such a problem, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 5-278175 (Patent Document 1) and Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open Publication No. 3-116974 (Patent Document 2) propose a method of performing tint block printing on a surface to be exposed. ing. The inventors of the present invention have considered applying a copy-forgery-inhibited pattern printing to an exposed surface that is not the addressing surface, and also applying a copy-forgery-inhibited pattern printing to an intermediate piece of paper in the case of a three-fold type, but the confidentiality has been examined. Was not sufficient to ensure concealment.
[0005]
On the other hand, a method of increasing concealing properties by increasing the basis weight of the pressure-bonded postcard paper is also conceivable, but since the weight of the postcard has an upper limit prescribed by the postal law (see Non-Patent Document 1), this method is confidential. However, it was not enough to obtain the concealing property enough to secure the property.
[0006]
In addition, the present inventors have studied a method of internally adding a filler component such as a filler having a concealing property to a base paper for pressure-bonded postcards, but there has been a problem that the strength as a postcard is reduced or the cost is increased.
[0007]
The present inventor has proposed a pressure-bonded postcard having high concealment in Japanese Patent Application No. 2002-005374 (see Patent Document 3). The present invention proposes this manufacturing method.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
As a result of intensive studies by the present inventors, a method for producing a pressure-bonded postcard base paper, forming a pressure-bonded postcard base paper on which at least one side thereof has a pressure-bonded postcard adhesive layer, The present inventors have found that the above-mentioned problems can be solved by including a coloring agent in at least one of them and by manufacturing the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards by a specific method, thereby completing the present invention. That is, the present invention provides a method for producing a pressure-sensitive postcard having extremely high confidentiality and excellent confidentiality, in which confidential information is not deciphered by a third party even when watermarked with light before opening. Make it an issue.
[0010]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The essence of the present invention is a method for producing a pressure-bonded postcard paper in which a base paper for pressure-bonded postcard is formed and then an adhesive layer for pressure-bonded postcard is provided on at least one side of the base paper. An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing a pressure-bonded postcard having high concealing properties, characterized by containing an agent.
[0011]
Further, the above-mentioned base paper for pressure-bonded postcards can be manufactured by having one or more layers. In addition, the outermost layer on at least one surface of the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards can be manufactured by a pigment coating layer. Further, at least one layer of the base paper for crimped postcards can be manufactured by including at least one type selected from titanium oxide and plastic pigment.
[0012]
In addition, it can be manufactured such that the opacity according to JIS P 8138 is 95% or more and the whiteness according to ISO 2470 is 60%, preferably 75%, according to JIS P 8138.
[0013]
Further, it can be manufactured by printing the whole or a part of the address surface of the pressure-bonded postcard paper in solid white.
[0014]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
The “crimped postcard paper” of the present invention is obtained by providing a “crimped postcard adhesive layer” on at least one surface of the “crimped postcard base paper”. The “crimped postcard” obtained by the present invention has fixed information printed on an ultraviolet-curable printing machine for forms or the like, and then has variable information (confidential information) printed on an electrostatic recording (electrophotographic) printer or an inkjet printer. ) Is printed, then formed into two or three folds, and then pressed and mailed in the form of a postcard.
[0015]
The pressure-sensitive adhesive for postcards having a high concealing property used in the present invention does not adhere in a normal state, but has a property of being adhered by applying a high pressure, and mainly comprises a latex and a filler. Component. By adding a coloring agent thereto, a high concealing property can be added.
[0016]
Colorants that can be added to the pressure-sensitive postcard adhesive used in the present invention to add high concealment properties include dyes and pigments. Examples of the dye include a basic dye, a cationic dye, an acid dye, a direct dye, a disperse dye, and a reactive dye. Examples of the pigment include an inorganic pigment containing a metal oxide or sulfide as a main component, and an organic pigment made insoluble by adding a precipitant to a dissolved dye called a lake. Specifically, carbon black, ultramarine blue, ultramarine blue, navy blue, cadmium yellow, cadmium red, iron oxide, metal powder as inorganic pigments, phthalocyanine, quinacdrine, dioxazine, perinone, pyrocholine, dyeing as organic pigments System, soluble azo system, insoluble azo system, polyazo system and the like.
[0017]
When a colorant is used in a mixed system, the appearance of hue is governed by the principle of subtractive color mixture. Using this principle, a desired hue can be developed. For example, a green hue can be obtained by using a combination of yellow and blue dyes.
[0018]
Although there is no limitation on the hue of the colorant, red, green, blue, brown, purple, and black system colors can be preferably used. Further, when carbon particles represented by carbon black are used, light in a wide wavelength range can be absorbed, so that the concealing property is high. The amount of the colorant used is 100 to 1000 ppm in terms of paint (solid content) of the adhesive, or 0.01 to 0.1 g / m2It is preferable to yield. Within this range, high opacity can be obtained without impairing whiteness.
[0019]
As the latex that can be added to the adhesive for pressure-bonded postcards used in the present invention, (modified) natural rubber, synthetic rubber such as SBR, acrylic resin and the like can be used.
[0020]
As the filler used in the present invention, silica gel, kaolin, calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, plastic pigment, titanium oxide, cereal starch particles and the like can be used.
[0021]
The adhesive for postcards used in the present invention contains the above-mentioned latex and filler as main components, and optionally contains an antioxidant, an ultraviolet absorber, a water-soluble polymer, a surfactant, and a defoamer. Auxiliary agents such as an agent, a thickener, a deodorant, and an inkjet ink fixing agent can be appropriately selected and added.
[0022]
To apply the adhesive to the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards, a coating method used for general paper coating can be adopted. For example, a known coating machine such as an air knife coater, a gravure coater, a blade coater, a roll coater, and a bar coater can be used.
[0023]
Coating amount of the adhesive for pressure-bonded postcards is 2 to 15 g / m per side.2Is preferably 3 to 10 g / m2Is more preferred. Coating amount 2g / m2If it is less than, stable adhesive properties cannot be obtained. 15g / m2Exceeding the limit results in excessive quality, which leads to an increase in cost, which is not preferable.
[0024]
The term "base paper for press-bonded postcards" as used in the present invention refers to a sheet-like material to which an adhesive for press-bonded postcards is applied, and can be manufactured as one or more layers. In this case, the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards may be manufactured as a configuration consisting of only a paper layer, or at least one outermost layer may be manufactured as a pigment coating layer.
[0025]
When the pressure-bonded postcard base paper contains a colorant, at least one or more colored layers may be contained. When the pressure-bonded postcard adhesive contains a colorant, the pressure-bonded postcard base paper contains a colorant. It may or may not be included.
[0026]
When the pressure-bonded postcard base paper comprises only a paper layer, a single-layer structure or a multilayer structure is possible. In the case of a multilayer structure, the coloring layer can be manufactured as one or more layers, and the coloring layers may be laminated in any order. In particular, when a three-layer structure in which the colored layer is interposed between the non-colored layers as an intermediate layer is used, the whiteness of the addressed surface and the non-addressed surface is increased while the concealing property is maintained. Further, when the non-addressed side is a colored layer and the addressed side is a non-colored layer, the whiteness of only the addressed side is increased. However, in these cases, the degree of whiteness changes depending on whether or not the adhesive for pressure-bonded postcard provided on the upper layer of the base paper for pressure-bonded postcard contains a coloring agent described later.
[0027]
On the other hand, when the outermost layer on at least one surface of the base paper for a compressed postcard is manufactured as a pigment coating layer, the pigment coating layer can be manufactured as one or more layers, and may be manufactured including a coloring agent. . When the outermost pigment coating layer does not contain a coloring agent, the whiteness increases. As an example, if only the address surface is made in this way, a pressure-bonded postcard sheet having high whiteness of the address surface and excellent concealment properties can be manufactured. However, in this case, the degree of whiteness changes depending on whether the adhesive for pressure-bonded postcards provided on the upper layer of the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards contains the above-described coloring agent, and therefore, a layer configuration may be set as desired.
[0028]
When manufactured, characterized in that at least one layer of the base paper for crimped postcards contains one or more types selected from titanium oxide and plastic pigment, the opacity is increased because titanium oxide and plastic pigment have a large scattering coefficient. Excellent in concealment.
[0029]
In addition, if the outermost layer on at least one side of the base paper for a pressure-bonded postcard is manufactured by a pigment coating layer, the pigment yield is increased, and as a result, the opacity is increased and the concealing property is excellent. In particular, when the pigment coating layer contains one or more types selected from titanium oxide and plastic pigment, these pigments have a large scattering coefficient, so that the opacity is further increased and the opacity is further improved.
[0030]
The plastic pigment used in the present invention is an organic fine particle made of a polymer compound, and examples thereof include a polystyrene plastic pigment, a styrene-butadiene plastic pigment, an acrylic plastic pigment, and a styrene-acryl plastic pigment. Various shapes and properties such as a spherical shape, a flat shape, a hollow shape, a fine particle aggregate, and a binder pigment can be used, and particularly, a spherical shape and a hollow shape can be preferably used. Particles having a particle size of 0.5 to 5 μm can be preferably used. These can be used alone or in combination of two or more. Such plastic pigments are generally commercially available.
[0031]
The above-mentioned base paper for pressure-bonded postcards can be manufactured even if it has a layer structure including one or more colored layers as described above.
[0032]
There is no limitation on the hue of the colorant used in the above-mentioned base paper for pressure-bonded postcards, but each system color of red, green, blue, brown, purple and black can be preferably used. Further, when carbon particles represented by carbon black are used, light in a wide wavelength range can be absorbed, so that the concealing property is high. In the case of a paper layer, the amount of the coloring agent used is 100 to 1000 ppm in terms of paper material (solid content) before papermaking, or 0.01 to 0.1 g / m2.2It is preferable to yield. Within this range, high opacity can be obtained without impairing whiteness.
[0033]
The amount of the coloring agent used in the pigment coating layer is 100 to 1000 ppm or 0.01 to 0.1 g / m in terms of the paint (solid content) of the adhesive.2It is preferable to yield. Within this range, high opacity can be obtained without impairing whiteness.
[0034]
As the coloring agent for imparting a high concealing property used herein, any of the coloring agents that can be used in the adhesive for pressure-bonded postcards can be used.
[0035]
As a raw material for the paper layer constituting the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards, pulp for papermaking generally used for papermaking, for example, bleached softwood kraft pulp (NBKP), bleached hardwood kraft pulp (NBKP), etc. Mainly mechanical pulp such as pulp, groundwood pulp (GP), and thermomechanical pulp (TMP), non-wood pulp such as cotton, hemp, and kenaf, synthetic pulp, and synthetic fiber can be used as needed. . These are 300-600C. S. F. Into a mixture, filler (clay, kaolin, calcium carbonate, titanium dioxide, etc.), dry paper strength agent (starch, PVA, polyacrylamide, etc.), wet paper strength agent (melamine resin, urea resin, polyamide / epichlorohydrin) , A polyacrylamide, etc.), a sizing agent (rosin type, alkyl ketene dimer type, etc.), a fluorescent brightening agent, a fixing agent, etc., if necessary, to obtain a pulp slurry. This is made into a paper using a known paper machine such as a round paper machine, a fourdrinier paper machine, a short net paper machine, or a combination thereof, so that a base paper for crimped postcards can be produced. Further, in an intermediate step, a sizing agent, a paper strength enhancer, a coloring agent, and the like can be appropriately applied by a size press device or the like. In particular, when pulp having a large scattering coefficient or filler having a large scattering coefficient is used, high opacity can be obtained, and high concealment can be obtained. In the case of the pulp described above, if the beating is not advanced and a large amount of hardwood is mixed and a large amount of the mechanical pulp is mixed, the opacity is increased, so that it is effective to secure a high concealing property. In the case of the filler, it is preferable to use titanium dioxide because high concealment properties can be obtained.
[0036]
The pigment coating layer of the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards is coated with a coating solution containing a binder and a water-soluble polymer, and a pigment as a main component, and at this time, coloring for expressing high concealment properties as described above. It is preferable to use an agent and / or a pigment having a high scattering coefficient, such as titanium dioxide or plastic pigment, since high opacity can be obtained.
[0037]
As the binder used in the coating liquid, synthetic rubber such as SBR, acrylic emulsion, urethane dispersion, polyester emulsion and the like can be used.
[0038]
Examples of the water-soluble polymer used in the coating liquid include starch and derivatives thereof, PVA, modified PVA, carboxymethyl cellulose, carboxyethyl cellulose, dextrin, casein, and polyvinylpyrrolidone.
[0039]
As the pigment used in the coating liquid, clay, kaolin, calcium carbonate, aluminum hydroxide, titanium dioxide, silica gel, plastic pigment, and the like can be used. Further, auxiliaries such as an antifoaming agent, a thickener, a water retention agent, and a leveling agent are appropriately added to these to form a coating. Further, the coating layer does not include the pigment as described above, and may be a clear coating.
[0040]
The coating amount of the coating layer is 3 to 15 g / m per side.2Is preferably 5 to 10 g / m2Is more preferred. 3g / m2If it is less than the above, the effect of obtaining high opacity is inferior. 15g / m2Exceeding the value leads to an increase in cost, which is not preferable.
[0041]
To apply the adhesive to the base paper for pressure-bonded postcards, a coating method used for general paper coating can be adopted. For example, a known coating machine such as an air knife coater, a gravure coater, a blade coater, a roll coater, a bar coater, and a gate roll coater can be used, and an on-machine coater or an off-machine coater may be used.
[0042]
The adhesive for the postcard and the base paper for the postcard have been described above. However, the coating amount of the adhesive for the postcard and the basis weight of the base for the postcard satisfy the weight of the postcard according to the postal law. May be appropriately selected as described above.
[0043]
In this way, the pressure-bonded postcard having high concealment properties is obtained by coloring at least one of the pressure-bonded postcard base paper and the pressure-bonded postcard adhesive with a dye and / or a pigment as described above, and pressing the pressure-bonded postcard base paper on at least one side of the base. It can be manufactured by providing a postcard adhesive.
[0044]
The thus obtained pressure-bonded postcard can be printed with a copy-forgery-inhibited pattern on an exposed surface that is not the addressing face, or, in the case of a three-fold type, can also be printed with a copy-forgery-inhibited pattern on an intermediate piece of paper. The compressed postcard obtained in this way has a stronger concealing property, and the confidential information cannot be deciphered even if watermarking is performed with stronger light, and the confidentiality is further improved.
[0045]
As a result of examinations by the present inventors, it has been found that it is preferable that the opacity according to JIS P 8138 of the pressure-bonded postcard and the whiteness according to ISO 2470 of the pressure-bonded postcard satisfy the following values in order to maintain confidentiality. . That is, the opacity according to JIS P 8138 of the compression postcard is 95% or more, and the whiteness according to ISO 2470 of the compression postcard is 60% or more, preferably 75% or more. It is more preferable that the entire surface or a part of the surface is combined with white solid printing.
[0046]
If the opacity according to JIS P 8138 of the pressure-bonded postcard is less than 95%, the concealing property is poor and the confidentiality is not preferable. In addition, the guidelines for postal services and postcards by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications, "Basic Conditions for Standard Mail and Postcards," recommend that the surface of barcode discount mail be light-colored and have a reflectance of 50% or more. Although the reflection spectrum should be considered, if the whiteness (457 nm) according to ISO 2470 is 50% or more, it is considered that this recommended value is satisfied. Therefore, it is not preferable that the whiteness according to ISO 2470 is 50% or less. . When the whiteness is 60% or more, the recipient of the postcard can recognize the color as light color, and does not feel uncomfortable. When the whiteness is 75% or more, the postcard recipient recognizes the whiteness as the original whiteness of the paper, which is more preferable.
[0047]
Also, if the entire surface of the address surface of the pressure-bonded postcard paper or only the portion where the address is described is printed in solid white, the address surface is colored with a coloring agent used for the pressure-bonded postcard paper and / or the adhesive for the pressure-bonded postcard. Is difficult to read even if it is difficult to read, which is preferable.
[0048]
White solid printing can be performed using a general printing machine such as offset printing, gravure printing, screen printing, etc., and the white ink contains a white pigment having a concealing property such as titanium oxide, zinc oxide, and lead oxide. Things can be used suitably.
