Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a circulating coin receiving and dispensing apparatus that accepts coins of a plurality of denominations and pays out a predetermined number of predetermined denominations in response to a payout signal.
In particular, the present invention relates to a small-sized circulation type coin receiving and paying device.
More specifically, the present invention relates to a small and inexpensive circulation type coin receiving and paying device.
The “coin” used in the present specification includes coins as currency, substitute coins such as medals and tokens of game machines, and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art A circulation type coin receiving and paying device is known which accepts and holds a plurality of types of coins and pays out a predetermined number of the held coins in accordance with a payout signal.
For example, see JP-A-6-274740 and JP-A-9-319912.
[0003]
In the former technique, six coin hoppers for receiving coins in a bulk state are arranged side by side, three by three.
Therefore, the height of the device can be reduced, but the width is increased.
The coin receiving and paying device is arranged below the POS cash register. However, when the input position of the keyboard of the POS cash register is set at an appropriate height, the payout port of the coin is lowered, and the coin must be bent every time the coin is taken out.
As a result, there is a need for improvement because the operator must perform extra actions.
[0004]
In the latter, six coin hoppers are arranged vertically in two stages, and the upper hopper is displaced in the front-rear direction to secure a distribution path to the lower coin hopper.
For this reason, since the width is narrow, it can be arranged on the side of the POS cash register, and the position of the keyboard and the coin payout slot of the POS cash register can be properly arranged. However, since the distribution path is arranged between the coin hoppers, Therefore, further miniaturization is required.
[0005]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
A first object of the present invention is to reduce the size of a coin receiving and dispensing device in which coin hoppers are arranged vertically.
A second object of the present invention is to provide an inexpensive coin receiving / dispensing device in which coin hoppers are arranged vertically.
A third object of the present invention is to improve the reliability of coin processing in automatic coin receiving and paying processing.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The coin receiving and dispensing device of the present invention is a coin receiving device, a sorting and transporting device that separates and transports the coins received by the receiving device one by one, and along a transport path of the sorting and transporting device, and A plurality of sorting units for each of the denominations formed in order from a small diameter to a large diameter in the transport direction, and a plurality of coin hoppers that hold coins distributed from the sorting unit in a bulk state and pay out one by one. Are arranged vertically in a plurality of rows, and a coin holding device in which the vertically located coin hoppers are vertically aligned, a guide path for guiding coins from the sorting unit to the plurality of coin hoppers, and the plurality of coin hoppers. A payout device for sending coins paid out from a coin hopper to a payout exit.
[0007]
In this configuration, a plurality of coins inserted into the receiving device are separated one by one by the sorting and transporting device and transported on the transporting path.
The coins conveyed on the sorting and conveying path are sorted by denomination according to their diameters by a plurality of sorting sections formed in order from the smaller diameter to the larger diameter along the conveying path, and are guided by the guide paths, respectively. Is guided to the coin hopper of the corresponding denomination and is suspended.
[0008]
When paying out a predetermined amount of coins, a coin hopper corresponding to the denomination is operated, and a predetermined number of coins are paid out to a payout device and sent to a payout exit.
In this configuration, since a plurality of coin hoppers are arranged in upper and lower rows, the width of the device is narrow.
Further, the coin hoppers located above and below are vertically aligned and not shifted as in the related art, so that the length in the front-rear direction is also short.
As a result, the size of the coin receiving and paying device can be reduced.
[0009]
According to the present invention, the sorting / conveying device includes a guide rail and an endless belt for guiding coins, and is vertically arranged along the row of coin hoppers above the coin holding unit, and the sorting unit is attached to the guide rail. It is preferable that they are arranged in a vertical positional relationship.
In this configuration, the coin is pushed by the endless belt, rolls on the guide rail, and is conveyed laterally on the conveyance path.
[0010]
During this transportation, the coins are sorted by the sorting unit according to the diameter and fall from the guide rail.
That is, since the sorting / conveying devices are arranged in a vertical positional relationship, the sorting unit can be arranged along the outward and return paths of the sorting / conveying device, so that their constituent parts can be reduced, resulting in low cost. Can be manufactured.
[0011]
In the present invention, it is preferable that the sorting unit includes a gauge rail that is parallel to the guide rail and has a predetermined interval.
In this configuration, since the sorting section based on the diameter of the coin can be configured by the guide rail and the gauge rail, it can be manufactured at low cost.
[0012]
In the present invention, it is preferable that the upper sorting section is connected to the upper coin hopper row via a guide path, and the lower sorting section is connected to the lower coin hopper row via a guide path.
In this configuration, since the guide path between the sorting unit and the coin hopper can be made as short as possible and almost straight, it is possible to reliably guide the coins to the coin hopper without causing jamming of coins and the like. .
[0013]
In the present invention, the transport path of the sorting and transporting device is inclined in a plane direction of the coin, and the sorting portions arranged in the vertical positional relationship are vertically aligned, and are aligned in the vertical direction. It is preferable that the guide path is adjacent to the conveying path in the inclination direction.
In this configuration, since the transport path of the coin is inclined in the direction of the surface of the coin, the coin can be sorted by gravity while being transported by the endless belt while leaning against the wall surface, so that the coin can be manufactured at low cost.
[0014]
Also, since the coin transport path is inclined in the plane direction of the coin, when the sorting unit is arranged vertically along the transport path, the guide paths from the upper and lower sorting units to the respective coin hoppers can be arranged adjacently. Since the installation space for these guideways is reduced, it is possible to reduce the size.
