TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an inductor suitable for smoothing in circuits of various power supply devices.
[0002]
[Prior art]
A conventional inductor will be described. A conventional inductor is described, for example, in FIG.
[0003]
[Feature Document 1]
JP 2000-260623 A
FIG. 3 is an explanatory diagram of a conventional inductor. The inductor shown in FIG. 3 winds a rectangular conductor for at least two turns around a cylindrical winding jig, and forms a so-called edgewise coil 4 having a cylindrical middle foot with an EI or a gap provided in the middle foot. It is incorporated in the EE-shaped magnetic cores 11a and 11b.
[0005]
FIG. 4 is an explanatory view of another conventional inductor. FIG. 4A is an external view before assembling, and FIG. 4B is a diagram illustrating the inductor after assembling. The inductor shown in FIG. 4 has a configuration in which a coil portion 21 formed by bending a rectangular conductor at a right angle is assembled with a ferrite core 12, a ferrite core 13, and an insulator spacer 5. Here, the ferrite core 13 and the insulator spacer 5 are housed in a space inside the coil part 21.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
This type of inductor has a rectangular copper wire with a rectangular cross section, a rectangular conductor without an insulating film, or a conductive plate with a smaller ratio in the vertical direction and a larger one in the horizontal direction. It is built into a UI or UU-shaped magnetic core groove so that it can be ignited, and it is a surface-mount type inductor that bends both ends of a rectangular conductor and uses it as a terminal. A gap material in the road is required.
[0007]
In the inductor of FIG. 4, the use of the coil portion 21 has the effect of reducing the DC resistance, but the overall shape and dimensions of the inductor increase. For example, as described in Patent Document 2, when a one-turn linear conductor is formed, a resin is required as a gap material between magnetic members, and the inductance value is affected by the thickness of the conductive wire. There are restrictions on characteristics.
[0008]
[Feature Document 2]
JP 2000-323336 A
Further, when compared with a product in which a flat conductor or a conductive plate is incorporated in a UI core or UU-shaped magnetic core, parts such as a gap material are reduced, and an inexpensive product is provided. Further, when compared with a product or the like in which a rectangular conductor or a conductive plate is incorporated in a magnetic core having a UI or UU shape, the inductance characteristic can be arbitrarily set by changing a gap of the core.
[0010]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a low-current resistance, small-sized, low-profile, and inexpensive inductor for a large current.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, a rectangular conductor or a conductive plate has a smaller vertical / horizontal length ratio in a vertical direction and a larger one in a horizontal direction, and has both ends in the vertical direction at 90 ° vertically downward at a certain length from the center. Bending, further bending both ends 90 degrees outward at a position of a certain length, so that the middle foot with a gap of EE-shaped or EI-shaped magnetic core comes inside the convex part formed in the center, A pair of outer legs of the E-shaped magnetic core are installed outside the convex part so as to come from the outside in the width direction of the conductor, so that the terminal from the last bending position of the flat conductor or the conductive plate to the tip end becomes the mounting terminal. Manufactures surface mount type inductor products.
[0012]
The inductor manufactured by using the above means can easily reduce the DC resistance, and can be reduced in size and height as a product. The above-described operation has recently been meeting the requirement that the inductor has a low DC resistance value even though the inductance value is low. Further, since a gap can be formed in the middle foot of the core, the number of components such as spacers serving as a gap material can be reduced, and as a result, an inexpensive product can be provided.
[0013]
That is, the present invention is an inductor in which a coil portion made of a conductive wire and a conductive plate is incorporated in a magnetic core, and the coil portion has a rectangular cross-section with a rectangular flat wire with an insulating film, or a flat rectangular wire without an insulating film, or The coil portion is formed of a conductive plate, the coil portion has a symmetrical step shape, and ends are bent outward symmetrically with each other, and the magnetic core is an EE-shaped or EI-shaped magnetic core. It has a gap in the middle foot part by uniting, and the middle foot with the gap of the magnetic core comes inside the space area of the convex part formed in the center of the coil part, A pair of outer legs of the E-shaped magnetic core is arranged outside the space region of the portion so as to come from the outer side in the width direction of the conductor, and from the last bending position of the flat conductor or the conductive plate, the tip is formed. Parts that are mounting terminals up to the part It is a type of inductor.
[0014]
Further, the present invention is the inductor in which the rectangular conductor or the conductive plate is molded with an insulating resin and is incorporated in the magnetic core.
[0015]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
An inductor according to an embodiment of the present invention will be described below.
[0016]
(Embodiment 1)
FIG. 1 is an explanatory diagram of the inductor according to the first embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 1A is an external view before assembling, and FIG. 1B is a diagram illustrating the inductor after assembling. The components mainly include the coil section 2 and the magnetic cores 1a and 1b. Conventional products require a heat-resistant spacer or resin as a core gap material, but the inductor of the present invention is a product with a small number of components, a low DC resistance, and a low profile.
[0017]
In the inductor of the present invention, the joint surfaces of the pair of magnetic cores 1a and 1b are fixed with an adhesive, a holder, or a tape to fix the magnetic cores 1a and 1b to each other. In addition, an adhesive may be applied between the coil portion and the magnetic core in order to eliminate play between the coil portion and the magnetic core.
[0018]
Here, the inductor of the present invention is of a surface mounting type, and has a shape that can be easily mounted continuously when packaged on a reel. When a conductive wire without a coating is used for the conductive wire, a Ni—Zn ferrite core having low conductivity is used for the magnetic core to prevent a short circuit between the coil and the substrate pattern.
[0019]
When a conductive wire with a film such as polyimide or modified epoxy acryl having no pinhole is used for the conductive wire, a Mn-Zn ferrite core having high conductivity may be used. In this case, it is possible to manufacture a product whose DC current superimposition characteristic does not saturate up to a high current as compared with the Ni—Zn ferrite core. Alternatively, a product having a high inductance value can be obtained.
[0020]
When a pattern is not laid on the substrate on the lower surface of the product and no conductive parts are installed around the product, even when using a conductor with no coating, the Mn- In some cases, a Zn-based ferrite core is used. In this case, it is possible to manufacture a product in which the DC current superimposition characteristic is not saturated up to a high current as compared with the Ni—Zn ferrite core. Alternatively, a product having a high inductance value can be obtained.
[0021]
In some cases, a metal compact core is used. In this case, as in the case of the Mn-Zn-based ferrite core, it is possible to manufacture a product whose DC current superimposition characteristic is not saturated up to a high current as compared with the Ni-Zn-based ferrite core. Alternatively, a product having a high inductance value can be obtained.
[0022]
(Embodiment 2)
FIG. 2 is an explanatory diagram of the inductor according to the second embodiment of the present invention. FIG. 2A is an external view before assembling, and FIG. 2B is a diagram illustrating the inductor after assembling. The inductor according to the second embodiment shows an example in which insulation between the magnetic core and the coil portion can be ensured by molding the coil portion 2a made of a copper wire or a copper plate with the insulating resin 6.
[0023]
Here, the insulating resin 6 molds the surface of the coil portion 2 and is formed in a plate shape between the mounting terminal portions 3. As a result, the insulation property from the mounted circuit board is further ensured.
[0024]
If a pattern is drawn on the board on the bottom of the inductor product or if there is a conductive part around the product, ensure that the coil-to-core insulation is maintained as a product to prevent short circuit between the coil and the pattern. As a necessary condition, as a countermeasure in that case, the coil portion is molded in advance with an insulating resin. In this case, Mn-Zn ferrite having high conductivity and excellent DC bias characteristics can be used.
[0025]
In addition, a bobbin made of an insulating resin may be used instead of the mold of FIG. 2, and the insulating effect is almost the same as that of the mold made of the insulating resin. However, there is a risk that the DC resistance may increase, but the production is easy.
[0026]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, by using the means according to the present invention, it is possible to provide a small-sized, low-profile, and low-cost inductor required for a large current.
