Abstract

<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch display method for easily understanding which must be operated in the next place among a large number of switches. <P>SOLUTION: A light emitter is arranged on the reverse of the respective switches 21a to 21c, 22a to 22c, 23a to 23c and 24 to 28 of a remote controller 20 and the reverse of a display part of respective characters 21A, 22A and 23A. When the light emitter operates for emitting the light, the switches and the characters are illuminated from the inside. 【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、スイッチを発光器によって表示する方法に係り、詳しくは人体臀部の温水洗浄等を行う衛生洗浄装置、電動式フラッシュ装置、便座開閉装置などのトイレ機器のスイッチを発光器によって表示するようにしたスイッチ表示方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
便器には、人体臀部を温水で洗浄する温水洗浄機能やこの洗浄で濡れた臀部に温風を吹き付けて乾燥させる乾燥機能等を有する衛生洗浄装置が設けられることが多くなってきている。また、便座を電動で開閉させる装置や、スイッチ操作によって便器洗浄を行う装置なども広く普及している。

このようなトイレ機器を操作するためのスイッチは、トイレルームの壁面のリモコンや、便座ボックスの袖部などに設けられることが多い。

これらの種々のスイッチの機能を識別し易くするために、各スイッチに固有のキャラクタを表記することが広く行われている（例えば特開平９−１１１８４２号公報の図１，２参照）。また、同号公報には、各スイッチのスイッチ片を透明とし、スイッチ片の裏側にＬＥＤを設け、スイッチの視認性を高めることが記載されている。

また、特開２００１−６５０３３号には、まず便蓋又は便座を照明し、次に温水洗浄装置等のスイッチを照明し、その後トイレットペーパーを照明するトイレの照明方法が記載されている。

特開平１１−５２８９２号には、トイレの衛生洗浄装置の各種操作部を、予め定めた操作手順に従って順次的に光の変化によって表示するようにした光表示装置が記載されている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記特開平９−１１１８４２号公報では、スイッチの視認性は良好であるが、多数あるスイッチのうちどれを操作すべきかについては、当該トイレを使い慣れていないと分りにくい。特開２００１−６５０３３号公報の照明方法においても、同様の問題がある。特開平１１−５２８９２号公報の光表示装置は、衛生洗浄装置の操作部に限定されているため、フラッシュ装置や便座／便蓋開閉装置等の他の装置を作動させたいときに、どのスイッチを操作すべきかが当該トイレを使い慣れていないと分りにくい。

本発明は、多数あるスイッチのうち次にどれを操作すべきかが分り易いスイッチ表示方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本発明のスイッチ表示方法（請求項１）は、トイレ機器を操作するための複数のスイッチにそれぞれ発光器を設け、該発光器を発光作動させることにより該スイッチを表示する方法において、トイレ機器の使用状況に応じて次に操作されるべきスイッチの発光器のみを発光作動させることを特徴とするものである。

かかる本発明によると、トイレ機器が複数設けられている場合であっても、トイレ機器の使用状況に応じて次に使用されるトイレ機器のスイッチを発光器の発光作動により表示するよう構成することができる。従って、トイレ設備の使用に不慣れな使用者であっても、まごつくことなくスイッチを操作することができる。

例えば、トイレ機器が便座開閉装置である場合（請求項２）には、便座が非着座状態であるときに便座開閉スイッチの発光器を発光作動させることにより、トイレルームに入室してきた人が、まごつくことなく、便座を開閉させるスイッチを操作することができる。

トイレ機器がシャワー洗浄及び／又はビデ洗浄を行なうための温水洗浄機能を有する衛生洗浄装置である場合（請求項３）、温水洗浄機能が作動中のときには、温水洗浄機能を停止させる停止スイッチの発光器を発光作動させることにより、温水洗浄機能を使用中の人が、まごつくことなく、停止スイッチを操作することができる。

本発明のスイッチ表示方法（請求項４）は、シャワー洗浄及び／又はビデ洗浄を行なうための温水洗浄機能と温風による臀部の乾燥機能を有する衛生洗浄装置を含んでおり、前記スイッチは該衛生洗浄装置の各機能を作動させるスイッチと、該衛生洗浄装置の各機能を停止させる停止スイッチとを含んでおり、該衛生洗浄装置のいずれか１つの機能が作動中のときには該他の衛生洗浄装置の機能を作動させるスイッチ及び該停止スイッチの発光器を発光作動させることを特徴とするものである。

この場合、温水洗浄機能又は乾燥機能のいずれかが作動中のときには、作動していない他の機能のスイッチの発光器及び停止スイッチの発光器を発光作動させることにより、使用中の人がまごつくことなく、停止スイッチを操作して作動中の機能の作動を停止させたり、作動していない機能のスイッチを操作して作動中の機能を停止させると同時に該スイッチを操作した機能を作動させることができる。

本発明のスイッチ表示方法（請求項５）は、衛生洗浄装置の各機能の作動レベル又は作動モードを調節する調節スイッチを含んでおり、該衛生洗浄装置のいずれか１つの機能が作動中のときには該衛生洗浄装置の他の機能を作動させるスイッチの発光器と、前記停止スイッチの発光器と、該作動中の衛生洗浄装置の調節スイッチの発光器とを発光作動させることを特徴とするものである。

この場合、作動中の機能の調節スイッチの発光器を発光作動させているため、使用中の人は、まごつくことなく現在作動中の機能の調節スイッチを操作することができ、かつ他の機能のスイッチの発光器及び停止スイッチの発光器を発光作動させているため、使用中の人は、まごつくことなく、これらのスイッチを操作することができる。

なお、この調節スイッチは、温水洗浄機能の温水の温度調節スイッチ及び／又は前記乾燥機能の温風の温度調節スイッチを含んでいてもよく（請求項６）、温水洗浄機能のノズル位置の調節スイッチ及び／又は前記温水洗浄機能の洗浄モードの調節スイッチを含んでいてもよい（請求項７）。

本発明のスイッチ表示方法（請求項８）は、着座状態であって且つ前記衛生洗浄装置のいずれの機能も非作動中のときには該衛生洗浄装置の機能を作動させるすべてのスイッチの発光器を発光作動させることを特徴とするものである。

この場合、着座した人は、まごつくことなく、作動させたい機能のスイッチを操作することができる。

トイレ機器がモータやソレノイドなどによる電気駆動式（以下、電動式ということがある。）のフラッシュ装置である場合には、着座状態であって且つ前記衛生洗浄装置のいずれの機能も非作動状態のときにフラッシュスイッチの発光器を発光作動させることが好ましい（請求項９）。

これにより、便座に着座してトイレ機器を使用しているときにはフラッシュスイッチの発光器が発光作動せず、停止スイッチやトイレ機器のスイッチの発光器が注目し易いものとなる。

なお、便蓋が開いており、且つ非着座状態である場合にフラッシュスイッチの発光器を発光作動させてもよい（請求項１０）。

これにより、便座から立ち上った人や男子小用を終了した人が、まごつくことなく、フラッシュスイッチを操作することができる。また、入室してきた人が便器内に残留物を発見したときにも、直ちにフラッシュスイッチを見つけてフラッシュ操作することができる。

本発明では、現に作動しているトイレ機器のスイッチの発光器を発光させ、その発光パターンと、次に操作されるべきスイッチの発光器の発光パターンとを異ならせてもよい（請求項１１）。

例えば、温水洗浄装置を使用しているときに温水洗浄スイッチの発光器を点滅させ、その停止スイッチの発光器と温風乾燥スイッチの発光器とを連続点灯させる。これにより、現在使用中の機器のスイッチがどれであり、次に操作すべきスイッチはどれであるかを容易に知ることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、図面を参照して実施の形態について説明する。図１は実施の形態に係るスイッチ表示方法によって表示されるスイッチを備えたリモコンをトイレルーム内に設置した状態を示す斜視図、図２はリモコンの正面図である。

洋風便器１０の後部上面にロータンク１１が設置され、このロータンク１１の前面側に便座ボックス１２が設置されている。この便座ボックス１２は、洋風便器１０の側方に張り出す張出部１３を有し、この張出部１３の上面にスイッチパネル（銘板）１４が設けられている。

便座ボックス１２には、シャワーノズル（肛門洗浄ノズル）１５，ビデ洗浄ノズル１６及び温風乾燥ファン（図示略）等が設けられている。また、この便座ボックス１２には、便座１７、便蓋１８が上下方向に回動可能に取り付けられている。便座１７の裏面には、圧電センサ等の着座センサ（図示略）が設けられている。便座ボックス１２内には便座／便蓋開閉装置（図示略）が設けられており、便座１７及び便蓋１８はスイッチパネルの操作又は後述するリモコン操作によって自動的に回動可能となっている。

この洋風便器１０の側方のトイレルーム壁面にリモコン２０が設置されている。このリモコン２０には、シャワー洗浄用スイッチ（シャワースイッチ）２１ａ，２１ｂ，２１ｃ、ビデスイッチ２２ａ，２２ｂ，２２ｃ、温風を吹き出させるドライスイッチ２３ａ，２３ｂ，２３ｃ、シャワー洗浄、ビデ洗浄、温風乾燥等の作動をストップさせるストップスイッチ２４が設置されている。なお、各スイッチ２１ａ〜２１ｃ、２２ａ〜２２ｃ、２３ａ〜２３ｃのうち２１ａ，２２ａ，２３ａは温水量又は温風量を少ないものとする弱スイッチであり、２１ｃ，２２ｃ，２３ｃは温水量又は温風量を多いものとする強スイッチであり、２１ｂ，２２ｂ，２３ｂは温水量又は温風量を中間量とする中スイッチである。

シャワースイッチ２１ａの左側には、シャワー状態を図案化したキャラクタ２１Ａが印刷等の手段によって描かれている。同様に、ビデスイッチ２２ａ及びドライスイッチ２３ａの左側には、各々ビデ洗浄及び温水乾燥状態を図案化したキャラクタ２２Ａ，２３Ａが描かれている。

また、リモコン２０には、温水又は温風の温度を上昇させるスイッチ２５と低下させるスイッチ２６とが設けられている。なお、本実施の形態では、温水及び温風の温度調整スイッチ２５，２６を共用しているが、別個に設けてもよい。

リモコン２０には、便座１７及び便蓋１８を開閉させるための便座／便蓋開閉スイッチ２７が設けられている。該スイッチ２７を１回押す毎に、「便蓋のみ開」、「便蓋及び便座開」、「便蓋のみ開」、「便蓋及び便座閉」の順に、便蓋１８及び便座１７が便座／便蓋開閉装置（図示略）によって開閉作動される。

また、リモコン２０にはフラッシュスイッチ２８が設けられており、フラッシュスイッチ２８を押すとロータンク１１内の電気駆動式のフラッシュ装置（図示略）が作動してロータンク１１内の水が洋風便器１０内に流出する。

リモコン２０の各スイッチ２１ａ〜２１ｃ，２２ａ〜２２ｃ，２３ａ〜２３ｃ，２４〜２８の裏側及び各キャラクタ２１Ａ，２２Ａ，２３Ａ表示部の裏側には、ＬＥＤ等よりなる発光器が設けられている。また、リモコン２０の該スイッチ及びキャラクタが表示された箇所は透光性を有しており、裏側に設けられた発光器が発光作動すると該スイッチ及びキャラクタが内側から照らし出される構成となっている。

なお、同様の発光可能なスイッチが張出部１３のスイッチパネル１４にも設けられている。

図示はしないが、洗浄の広がりを調整するためのワイド洗浄入／切スイッチ、洗浄位置前進スイッチ、その後退スイッチ等が設けられてもよい。

リモコン２０内には、前記各スイッチ２１ａ〜２１ｃ、２２ａ〜２２ｃ、２３ａ〜２３ｃ、２４〜２８の操作信号を赤外線等として便座ボックス１２に向けて発信する回路と、便座ボックス１２からリモコン２０に向けて赤外線等として発信されるトイレ機器の使用状況に関する信号（例えば、便蓋１８及び便座１７の開閉状況、着座か非着座か、シャワーノズル１５及びビデノズル１６の使用状況、温風乾燥ファンの使用状況に関する信号など）を受信し、該受信信号に基づいてリモコン２０の各スイッチ及びキャラクタの裏側の発光器を点灯、点滅又は消灯させる回路とが設置されている。

便座ボックス１２内には、トイレ機器の使用状況をリモコン２０に向けて発信する回路と、リモコン２０から発信された各スイッチ２１ａ〜２１ｃ，２２ａ〜２２ｃ，２３ａ〜２３ｃ，２４〜２８の操作信号を受信して各トイレ機器を作動させる回路とが設置されている。また、張出部１３のスイッチの発光器の制御回路が設けられている。

便座１７及び便蓋１８が閉じているとき（表１の▲１▼参照）は、リモコン２０の便座／便蓋開閉スイッチ２７の発光器を点灯させることにより、トイレルームに入室してきた人が、まごつくことなく、便座／便蓋開閉スイッチ２７を操作することができる。

〔▲２▼，▲７▼の動作〕
便蓋１８のみ又は便蓋１８と便座１７の両方が開いており、且つ便座１７に人が着座していないとき（表１の▲２▼及び▲７▼参照）は、便座／便蓋開閉スイッチ２７の発光器を点灯させることに加え、フラッシュスイッチ２８の発光器も点灯させる。これにより、使用者はまごつくことなく便座／便蓋開閉スイッチ２７を操作して男子小用のために便座１７を開けたり、大用のために便座１７を閉じたりすることができる。また、男子小用の終了後に、フラッシュスイッチ２８を容易に操作することができる。なお、入室してきた人が便器１０内に残留物を発見したときにも、直ぐにフラッシュスイッチ２８を操作することができる。

使用者が便座１７に着座し、シャワーノズル１５、ビデ洗浄ノズル１６及び温風乾燥ファンのいずれも使用していない状態においては（表１の▲３▼参照）、便座／便蓋開閉スイッチ２７を消灯させ、フラッシュスイッチ２８、シャワースイッチ２１ａ〜２１ｃ、ビデスイッチ２２ａ〜２２ｃ、ドライスイッチ２３ａ〜２３ｃ、及びキャラクタ２１Ａ，２２Ａ，２３Ａの発光器を点灯（連続点灯）させる。これにより、使用者はまごつくことなく、シャワー、ビデ洗浄、温風乾燥のいずれかの種類及び強度を選択することができる。

なお、この▲３▼の場合、フラッシュスイッチ２８を点灯させてもよい。このようにすれば、着座したままフラッシュ操作をすることができる。

使用者が着座し、且つシャワースイッチ２１ａを押してシャワー洗浄しているときは（表１の▲４▼参照）、キャラクタ２１Ａ及びスイッチ２１ａを点滅させると共に、その他のキャラクタ２２Ａ，２３Ａ及びスイッチ２１ｂ，２１ｃ，２２ａ〜２２ｃ，２３ａ〜２３ｃを点灯させる。また、ストップスイッチ２４及び温度調節スイッチ２５，２６を点灯させる。

なお、スイッチ２２ａの代りにスイッチ２２ｂ又は２２ｃを押してビデ洗浄しているときには、当該スイッチ２２ｂ又は２２ｃを点滅させること以外は上記のスイッチ２２ａを押してビデ洗浄している場合と同様の点消灯とする。

このように、点滅しているキャラクタ及びスイッチを見ることによって現在のトイレ機器の使用状況を容易に確認できる。また、スイッチ２１ａ〜２１ｃ，２２ａ〜２２ｃ，２３ａ〜２３ｃの９つのスイッチのうち、点灯している８つのスイッチのいずれかを操作することにより、使用するノズル又はファンあるいは強度を変更することができる。さらに、温水洗浄中又は温風乾燥中に温度調節スイッチ２５，２６を操作することにより、容易に洗浄水又は温風の温度を調節することができる。温水洗浄中又は温風乾燥中に、ストップスイッチ２４が点灯するので、ストップ操作も容易である。

上記の説明はリモコン２０のスイッチの点灯動作に関するものであるが、張出部１３のスイッチの点灯動作も同様である。なお、リモコン２０及び張出部１３の各スイッチは同時に点消灯（点滅を含む。）動作する。

リモコン２０のスイッチを操作した場合でもリモコン２０のスイッチと張出部１３のスイッチとが同一パターンにて点消灯動作し、張出部１３のスイッチを操作した場合でもリモコン２０のスイッチと張出部１３のスイッチとが同一パターンにて点消灯動作する。

上記実施の形態は本発明の一例であり、本発明は上記実施の形態以外の態様をとることができる。例えば、フラッシュスイッチを小用と大用の２種類としてもよい。使用しているトイレ機器に対応するキャラクタやスイッチを点滅させる代りに、光の色や強度を変えてもよい。使用中の機器のスイッチを連続点灯させ、次に使用される機器のスイッチを点滅させてもよい。

上記実施の形態では、着座中にシャワー、ビデ、又は乾燥を行っている場合（▲４▼〜▲６▼）ではフラッシュスイッチ２８を消灯としているが、点灯させてもよい。

また、上記実施の形態では、シャワー、ビデ、乾燥について強中弱の３種類のスイッチが設けられているが、１種類のシャワースイッチ、ビデスイッチ、ドライスイッチを設け、洗浄温水量や温風の風量を調節するスイッチを設けてもよい。

以上の通り、本発明のスイッチ表示方法によると、多数あるスイッチのうち次にどれを操作すべきかが分り易いものとなる。

In Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 9-111842, the visibility of the switches is good, but it is difficult to determine which of the many switches to operate unless the user is used to the toilet.
