Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an improvement of a buffer envelope having a buffer layer of a plastic foam sheet on the inside and a paper envelope made of kraft paper on the outside, and also relates to a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus thereof. In this specification, the term "plastic foam sheet" (hereinafter abbreviated as "bubble sheet") is used to form a cap film having a large number of protrusions by vacuum-forming a plastic film, and forming a flat film on the bottom surface of the cap. Refers to a molded product obtained by laminating various back films. “Kraft paper” is used to mean a relatively thick and durable paper that has been used as an envelope material, regardless of whether it is derived from kraft pulp.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Bubble sheets are widely used to package articles that may be damaged by shock or vibration during transportation due to their cushioning ability. One of the applications is to use a laminate with kraft paper as a material. It is a buffer envelope. Various types of buffer envelopes of this type have been developed and put into practical use.
[0003]
Conventional buffer envelopes have various problems, the first of which is that delamination is likely to occur between different materials due to the quality of bonding between paper and plastic. This is mainly a problem in appearance due to heat sealing between bubble sheets. If the heat-sealed portion of the laminated material of the paper and the bubble sheet appears, whether at the bottom portion or the side edge of the buffer envelope, the appearance is extremely poor, and this portion is also weak in strength.
[0004]
The cushioning capacity of the cushioning envelope is borne by the bubble sheet bag, and the strength of the envelope itself is a task mainly imposed on the kraft paper bag. Although the strength of the kraft paper itself and the adhesive strength between the papers are both high, in the conventional product, the envelope was manufactured with plastic interposed between the papers, and thus the strength of the envelope was made of laminated plastic. It was determined by the heat seal strength of the material. This is disadvantageous, of course, and if the roles of paper and plastic can be thoroughly shared, the strength of the envelope can be maximized.
[0005]
Another problem is how easy it is to recycle. Although it is desired to recycle used buffer envelopes as resources, it is necessary to separate and collect paper and plastic. However, it is difficult to separate and collect buffer envelopes that have a strong bond between them without using a laminated material, as well as those using a laminated material of kraft paper and a bubble sheet. In order to facilitate separation and collection, the structure of the bubble sheet portion and the kraft paper portion must be easily separable.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
It is an object of the present invention to satisfy the improvements required for the conventional buffer envelope, and to form these sides on the bottom side and both sides without the heat-sealed portion of the bubble sheet and by bonding the paper together. Another object of the present invention is to provide a material which is excellent in appearance, has sufficiently high strength, and is easy to separate and collect paper and plastic after use. It is also an object of the present invention to provide a suitable method and a suitable device for producing such a buffer envelope.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The buffer envelope of the present invention that achieves the above object has a buffer layer of a plastic foam sheet on the inside and a paper bag of kraft paper on the outside, as shown in FIGS. The buffer layer of the plastic foam sheet is a buffer bag (1) in which the fold of the half-folded plastic foam sheet is used as the base (11), and heat sealing and fusing are performed at predetermined intervals to form both sides (12), A paper bag of kraft paper has a length and width slightly exceeding the dimensions of the buffer bag (1), and in the excess portion, the front and back sides are adhered with an adhesive (7), and the bottom (21) and both sides ( 22) is a paper bag (2) formed by connecting the buffer bag and the paper bag with an adhesive (8) in a portion near the mouth of the buffer bag.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
It is desirable for many applications that this type of shock-absorbing envelope have a so-called "bello" portion (3) that folds over the envelope mouth, as shown in FIGS. The tongue portion can be formed by making one of the two kraft papers constituting the paper bag (2) wider than the other to produce a buffer envelope.
[0009]
As shown in FIG. 1, it is preferable that an adhesive (4) is applied to the tongue portion with an appropriate width, and a release paper (5) is applied thereon. At the same time, it is preferable to provide a cut tape (6) in the vicinity of the bending line of the tongue portion, for example, by attaching it with an adhesive.
[0010]
The method of the present invention for producing the above-described buffer envelope comprises the following steps.
A) As shown in FIG. 3, a plastic foam sheet is unwound from a long coil, the cap is removed, folded in half, and subjected to heat sealing and fusing at predetermined intervals in the width direction to form a buffer bag. Manufacturing process,
B) As shown in FIG. 4, two kraft papers having a width slightly exceeding the length of the buffer bag are unwound from the long coil and on their opposing surfaces, at one longitudinal edge. Are applied continuously or else intermittently at intervals slightly exceeding the width of the cushioning bag, both of which are coated with an adhesive (7) for adhering the paper and along the other edge. Adhesive application step of applying an adhesive (not shown) for bonding paper and paper (FIG. 4 shows one of the two kraft papers),
C) As shown in FIGS. 5 and 6, synchronized with the adhesive applied in the width direction of the kraft paper, the buffer bag is inserted between two kraft papers, sandwiched between them, and the adhesive is applied. A pressure bonding step of applying pressure to the kraft paper to bond the kraft paper to the buffer bag, and D) a buffer envelope manufacturing step of separating the widthwise bonded portion substantially at the center thereof.
[0011]
A product having the above-mentioned tongue, which is a general mode rather than a preferable mode in the buffer envelope of the present invention, and which is a general mode usually performed, provided with a sealing adhesive (4) and a release paper (5). The following method is used to manufacture the product and the product with the cut tape (6) attached. That is, one of the kraft papers is made wider than the other so that the kraft paper is present beyond the buffer bag, and between the above-mentioned steps C and D, of the following steps, G is performed alone, or G is performed after performing one or both of F and F.
E) applying a pressure-sensitive adhesive (4) intermittently with a narrow width to the tongue portion in synchronization with the dimensions of the envelope, and applying a release paper (5) thereon;
F) A step of attaching a cut tape for facilitating the opening of the cut tape near the bending line of the tongue portion, and G) To make the shape of the tongue portion trapezoidal, make the end of the separating line into a V-shape. V-cut process for cutting and removing.
[0012]
It is advisable that the operation of applying the release paper in the latter half of the step E and the mounting of the cut tape in the step F are performed simultaneously.
[0013]
As shown in FIG. 7, the overall structure of a buffer envelope manufacturing apparatus of the present invention suitable for carrying out the above-described manufacturing method includes the following devices as constituent parts.
I) A feeding means for feeding a long plastic foam sheet from a coil, a half-fold means for half-folding the fed plastic foam sheet with the cap outside, and heating two plastic foam sheets stacked by half-folding. A buffer bag manufacturing apparatus comprising a heat sealing means for sealing and fusing,
II) feeding means for feeding two elongate kraft papers from the coil, means for continuously or intermittently applying an adhesive for bonding the paper onto their opposing surfaces, and plastic Adhesive applying device comprising means for applying an adhesive for bonding the paper and paper,
III) Synchronized with the adhesive applied to the kraft paper, the buffer bag was inserted between two kraft papers, sandwiched between them, and the portion where the adhesive was applied was pressurized and bonded to continue. A pressure bonding device for obtaining a buffer envelope, and IV) a cutting device for separating a continuous body of the buffer envelope into individual buffer envelopes.
[0014]
An apparatus for manufacturing a buffer envelope according to a preferred embodiment includes, in addition to the above-described apparatuses, the following apparatuses as additional components, and the apparatus alone or with one or both of (e) and (f). Have.
V) An adhesive application device for applying an adhesive to the tongue portion and applying a release paper thereon.
VI) A cut tape attaching device for adhering a cut tape near the bending line of the tongue portion, and VII) a V-cut device for adjusting the shape of the tongue portion to a trapezoid.
[0015]
Various modifications and additions can be made to the method and apparatus for manufacturing the buffer envelope of the present invention. For example, two long kraft papers constituting a paper bag can be prepared on the spot by cutting one long kraft paper along its center line. It goes without saying that the beveled portion may be cut along a line slightly deviated from the center according to its width.
[0016]
In addition, additional steps and devices for performing the same can be added to the present invention as desired. For example, if two kraft paper sheets are left bonded together with an adhesive, the bottom of the buffer envelope may have a slight shift between the front and back sides, and may have an undesirable appearance. In addition, in the manufacturing process, it is advantageous that the margin at the bottom has a sufficient width. However, when it comes to the function and strength of the buffer envelope of the product, it is not necessary or unfavorable to use such a large width. is there. From such a viewpoint, it is recommended to load a step of trimming the bottom between the step C of performing the pressure bonding and the step D of separating the continuous buffer envelopes individually. The trimming device VIII in FIG. 7 is a device loaded for this purpose.
[0017]
【The invention's effect】
The buffer envelope of the present invention is different from the conventional product in that the bottom and both sides of the envelope have no heat-sealed portion in a state where the kraft paper and the bubble sheet are laminated, and these are formed by bonding paper to each other. Are formed. For this reason, the bottom side and both sides can be formed thinly, and the end face is clear and the appearance is excellent. Adhesion between papers not only makes the strength of the envelope sufficiently high, but also eliminates the concern of delamination, which is inevitable when laminating different materials such as paper and plastic.
[0018]
In the buffer envelope of the present invention, the bonding between the paper and the plastic is performed only at the portion along the mouth of the buffer bag in order to fix the buffer bag forming the inner layer to the paper bag serving as the outer layer. In principle, weak adhesion, for example, the application of an adhesive is sufficient. Therefore, it is very easy to separate and collect paper and plastic after using the buffer envelope. Simply pinch the inner air bubble cushion and pull it away from the outer kraft paper envelope to separate them cleanly. As mentioned above, the buffer bag is only weakly bonded to the kraft paper on the side near its mouth, so it can be easily peeled off, leaving one of the paper and plastic sticking to the other. Never.
[0019]
Since the method of the present invention for manufacturing the buffer envelope can be automatically and efficiently performed using the apparatus of the present invention, a buffer envelope having a good appearance and high strength can be produced at low cost. It is possible.
