Abstract
【解決手段】本発明に従う広帯域分散制御光ファイバは、ゼロ分散波長の位置を制御して波長分割多重化方式通信ネットワークにおける波長帯域の光信号を使用することができるようにし、分散傾斜とベンディング損失を制御することにより長距離伝送に適合可能にする。また、Oバンド波長帯域では負の分散値に、CバンドとLバンド波長帯域では偏差が小さい正の分散値にそれぞれ制御することにより、一つの光ファイバで短中長距離伝送を可能にする。

Claims (19)
- 広帯域分散制御光ファイバにおいて、
遮断波長が1285nm以下であり、1285nm〜1330nm波長範囲で分散値が−12〜−4ps/nm/kmであり及び1625nm波長での分散値が8〜14ps/nm/kmであり、1430nm未満の波長領域にゼロ分散波長を位置させ、1550nm波長で75μm2未満の有効断面積を示し、1550nm波長と1625nm波長間の損失値の差が0.03dB/km以下であることを特徴とする広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。 - 広帯域分散制御光ファイバは、
直径がd1、屈折率がn1である内部コアと、
該内部コアを取り囲み、直径がd2であり、屈折率n2が分散制御光ファイバの中心から外れるほど該内部コアの屈折率n1から徐々に減少する外部コアと、
該外部コアを取り囲み、直径がd3、屈折率がn3である内部クラッドと、
該内部クラッドを取り囲み、屈折率がn4である外部クラッドと、を備える請求項1記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。 - 直径が0≦d1/d2≦0.8、0.1≦d2/d3≦0.5である関係を満足すると共に、屈折率がn1>n2≧n3≧n4、0.0034≦(n1−n4)/n1≦0.007、0≦(n2−n4)/n2≦0.0048、0≦(n3−n4)/n3≦0.0014である関係を満足する請求項2記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- ゼロ分散波長での分散傾斜が0.074ps/nm2/km以下である請求項1記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 分散値が1310nm波長で−9ps/nm/km以上である請求項1記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 損失が1625nm波長で0.25dB/km以下である請求項1記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 直径が60mmであるローラーに100回巻線された場合に1550nmでのベンディング損失が0.05dB以下である請求項1記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 広帯域分散制御光ファイバにおいて、
遮断波長が1285nm以下であり、1285nm〜1330nm波長範囲で分散値が−12〜−4ps/nm/kmであり及び1625nm波長での分散値が8〜14ps/nm/kmであり、ゼロ分散波長での分散傾斜が0.074ps/nm2/km以下であることを特徴とする広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。 - ゼロ分散波長は1430nm未満の波長領域に位置する請求項8記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 有効断面積は1550nm波長で75μm2未満である請求項8記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 分散値は1310nm波長で−6ps/nm/km以下であり、1625nm波長で14ps/nm/km以下である請求項8記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 直径が60mmであるローラーに100回巻線された場合に1550nmでのベンディング損失が0.05dB以下である請求項8記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 広帯域分散制御光ファイバは、
直径がd1、屈折率がn1である内部コアと、
該内部コアを取り囲み、直径がd2であり、屈折率n2が分散制御光ファイバの中心から外れるほど該内部コアの屈折率n1から徐々に減少する外部コアと、
該外部コアを取り囲み、直径がd3、屈折率がn3である内部クラッドと、
該内部クラッドを取り囲み、屈折率がn4である外部クラッドと、を備える請求項8記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。 - 直径が0≦d1/d2≦0.8、0.1≦d2/d3≦0.5である関係を満足すると共に、屈折率がn1>n2≧n3≧n4、0.0034≦(n1−n4)/n1≦0.007、0≦(n2−n4)/n2≦0.0048、0≦(n3−n4)/n3≦0.0014である関係を満足する請求項13記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 広帯域分散制御光ファイバにおいて、
内部コアと、
該内部コアを取り囲む外部コアと、
該外部コアを取り囲む内部クラッドと、
該内部クラッドを取り囲む外部クラッドと、を備え、
既設定された遮断波長を得、Oバンド波長領域では負の分散値及びCバンドとLバンド波長領域では正の分散値を有し、ゼロ分散波長を既設定された値より低い波長領域に位置させ、既設定された波長での有効断面積を既設定された値より小さくし、波長に応じた光損失偏差を既設定された値より低めるために、屈折率分布と相対的な直径を用いて前記コアとクラッドそれぞれの屈折率が調整されていることを特徴とする広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。 - 遮断波長が1285nm以下であり、1285nm〜1330nm波長範囲で分散値が−12〜−4ps/nm/kmであり、1625nm波長で分散値が8〜14ps/nm/kmである請求項15記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- ゼロ分散波長は1430nm以下の波長領域に位置する請求項15記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 有効断面積は1550nm波長で75μm2未満である請求項15記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
- 波長に応じた光損失偏差は0.03dB/km以下である請求項15記載の広帯域分散制御光ファイバ。
