Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a wheel light emitting device for a motorcycle in which a light storing function portion provided on a wheel rim of a wheel in a motorcycle is irradiated with ultraviolet rays by an ultraviolet light illuminating device so that the light storing function portion of the wheel rim always emits light during night driving. is there.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, as a wheel light emitting means for motorcycles to improve vehicle body visibility and fashionability at night, such as attaching a reflector to the spokes, attaching a fluorescent color sticker to the wheel rim, or attaching a seal with a luminous function There was a means.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
These have the following disadvantages.
The reflection plate and the fluorescent seal reflected the light only when light was applied from the outside, and were conspicuous, and did not function where no external light was applied.
In addition, a sticker that has a luminous function does not emit light unless it is exposed to light for a certain period of time, and since the time for which sufficient brightness is maintained is short, it works effectively when entering a tunnel etc. from a bright place It was limited.
The present invention has been made to eliminate these disadvantages.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
An ultraviolet light illuminating device (1) for irradiating ultraviolet rays to a light storing function portion (2) provided on a wheel rim (3) of a motorcycle wheel is provided in a portion adjacent to the wheel rim and not rotating with the wheel.
Thereby, it becomes possible to sequentially irradiate the light storing function part (2) at any angle when the wheel rotates, and the light storing function part (2) can emit light by itself.
The present invention is a wheel light emitting device for a motorcycle having the above configuration.
[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, embodiments of the present invention will be described.
First, the present invention is based on the premise that the present invention is used in combination with a means for adding a light storing function to a wheel rim (3) of a wheel.
For example, a luminous function seal is stuck to the wheel rim (3), or a luminous function paint is applied to the wheel rim (3), and this is used in combination with the present invention. The phosphorescent seal and the phosphorescent paint are not described in the scope of the present invention, but are described in detail in the respective inventions. Since these are already commercially available and widely used, their description is omitted.
[0006]
An ultraviolet light illuminating device (1) capable of irradiating ultraviolet light is attached to a two-wheeled vehicle having a luminous function part (2) provided on a wheel rim (3) of a wheel.
The ultraviolet illuminating device (1) in the present invention is an illuminating device that irradiates light containing strong ultraviolet light, and does not mean that the emitted light must not include visible light.
A violet light-emitting diode or the like that is resistant to impact and has low current consumption is suitable for the light source of the ultraviolet illumination device (1).
[0007]
The ultraviolet illuminating device (1) is attached to a portion adjacent to the wheel rim (3) and not rotating with the wheels, that is, a fender, a fender fixing stay, a vehicle body frame, or the like.
The irradiation direction of the ultraviolet illuminator (1) is directed to the light storing function part (2) provided on the wheel rim.
The distance from the light storage function part (2) of the ultraviolet illuminating device (1) is a distance that does not make contact, and it is desirable to mount the device at a position as close as possible. This is to suppress the diffusion of the ultraviolet rays as much as possible to enhance the light emitting effect of the light storage function portion (2), and also to prevent the rubber of the tire from being deteriorated by the diffused ultraviolet rays.
The irradiation direction of the ultraviolet illuminator (1) is directed toward the light storage function part (2).
At least one UV illuminator (1) is mounted on one side of the wheel.
The rotation of the wheels during traveling makes it possible to irradiate the entire circumference of the wheel rim (3).
For this reason, the light storage function part (2) provided on the wheel rim (3) may be provided at any angle. Also, it may be provided all around.
[0008]
The power source of the ultraviolet lighting device (1) may be supplied from a power generation device provided in the motorcycle, a battery, or a separate power source such as a dry cell for exclusive use.
[0009]
Increasing the number of ultraviolet light emitting devices (1) mounted on one side of the wheel increases the light emission luminance of the light storing function part (2) to a certain level.
In addition, when a plurality of the light storage function parts are mounted at different angles, a time interval until the light storage function part (2) at a specific angle is irradiated with ultraviolet rays is shortened, and unevenness in luminance can be reduced.
In the embodiment shown in FIG. 1, the present invention is mounted on the left and right sides of the wheel. However, when the vehicle is mounted on a bicycle or the like, the current supply capacity of the generator is limited.
At this time, it is desirable to install on the right side in consideration of left-hand traffic.
[0010]
【The invention's effect】
Advantageous Effects of Invention According to the present invention, it is possible to always emit light from the light storage function portion (2) provided in the wheel rim (3) during traveling at night irrespective of external light.
