【従来の技術】従来において車両のドアミラーの取り付け構造はフロントフェンダー部に取り付けられているものを除いてフロントピラーの付け根部分の車室内からサイドウィンドウ越しに視認できる位置にあるものがほとんどである。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】従来の車両のドアミラーの取り付け構造では最近の流麗なボディ形状に不調和であり車室内からの視界も狭めている。

【課題を解決する手段】この発明では車両ドアミラーをフロントピラーと一体化することにより車両の流麗なボディ形状に調和佐瀬、車室内からもサイドウィンドウ越しの視界を狭めていたドアミラーがなくなり従来フロントピラーにより視界を狭められるだけであった位置に合わせ鏡構造のドアミラーによる後方視界が映し出されることにより車室内の開放感を得ることができる。

【発明の実施の形態】車両ドアミラーの外部鏡部分１はフロントピラー２に添う形状でボディ形状に調和したドアミラーカバー３に覆われておりやはりフロントピラー２に添う形でドアミラー４を可倒することができる（図１）。
【０００６】車両正面からの外観では従来フロントウィンドウ５の横にフロントピラー６が立ちその付け根にドアミラー７が突出した形状で付いていたが、この発明ではフロントピラー２とドアミラー４を一体化することによりフロントピラー２の全部または一部が若干幅広くなるがボディ形状に調和した形状とすることができる（図２）
【０００７】車室内からは従来フロントウィンドウ５の横にフロントピラー６が立ちその付け根にサイドウィンドウ８越しに視認できる位置にドアミラー７が取り付けられておりフロントピラー６とドアミラー７でかなりの面積の視界を狭められていたが、この発明では車室内からはドアミラー反射面９に合わせ鏡構造により後方視界が映し出される構造となっている（図３）。
【０００８】合わせ鏡構造はドアミラー鏡１とドアミラーカバー３とフロントピラー２に組み込まれたガラス１０が車両の外側にあり、ドアミラー鏡１に映った後方視界はガラス１０を透過してフロントピラー２内部に組み込まれ得た鏡または凸面鏡１１に反射し車室内鏡１２に映り車室内ガラス１３越しに視認することができる（図１）。
【０００９】ドアミラー４は使用しない時は可倒することができ可倒した時も車室内からの視界を一切遮ることはない（図１）。

【発明の効果】この発明により自動車のデザインがますます流麗になってきている中、旧態依然とした構造と形状で付けられていたドアミラーを自動車のデザインの一部として考えることができるようになり、車室内からの視界を格段に広げることができ後方を視認する際の視線の移動距離も短くなる。

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to an integrated structure of a front pillar in a vehicle body and a door mirror of the vehicle, and a door mirror structure based on the principle of a combined mirror.
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, most of the mounting structure of a door mirror of a vehicle is located at a position that can be visually recognized through a side window from a cabin at a base portion of a front pillar except for a mounting structure of a front fender.

The conventional structure for mounting a door mirror of a vehicle is inconsistent with the recent body shape and narrows the field of view from the passenger compartment.

According to the present invention, a vehicle door mirror is integrated with a front pillar so as to harmonize with a sleek body shape of the vehicle. The door mirror which narrows the field of view through the side window from the vehicle interior is eliminated. Accordingly, the rear view by the mirror having a mirror structure is displayed at the position where the field of view was merely narrowed, so that a sense of openness in the vehicle compartment can be obtained.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENTS An outer mirror portion 1 of a vehicle door mirror is covered by a door mirror cover 3 which conforms to a body shape and conforms to a front pillar 2, and the door mirror 4 can also be folded down along a front pillar 2. (Fig. 1).
Conventionally, a front pillar 6 stands on the side of the front window 5 and a door mirror 7 protrudes from the base of the front pillar 5 when viewed from the front of the vehicle. In the present invention, however, the front pillar 2 and the door mirror 4 are integrated. As a result, the whole or part of the front pillar 2 is slightly widened, but can be formed into a shape that matches the body shape (FIG. 2).
Conventionally, a front pillar 6 stands on the side of the front window 5 from the interior of the vehicle, and a door mirror 7 is mounted at a base of the front pillar 6 so as to be visible through the side window 8. A considerable area of view is provided by the front pillar 6 and the door mirror 7. However, according to the present invention, the rear view is projected from the passenger compartment by the mirror structure in accordance with the door mirror reflecting surface 9 (FIG. 3).
In the laminated mirror structure, a glass 10 incorporated in a door mirror mirror 1, a door mirror cover 3 and a front pillar 2 is located outside the vehicle, and a rear view reflected on the door mirror mirror 1 is transmitted through the glass 10 and is inside the front pillar 2. The light is reflected by a mirror or convex mirror 11 that can be incorporated in the vehicle, reflected on a vehicle interior mirror 12, and can be visually recognized through a vehicle interior glass 13 (FIG. 1).
When the door mirror 4 is not used, the door mirror 4 can be tilted down and does not obstruct the view from the passenger compartment at all even when tilted down (FIG. 1).

According to the present invention, while the design of automobiles is becoming more and more sophisticated, it is now possible to consider door mirrors that have been provided with old-fashioned structures and shapes as part of automobile designs. Thus, the field of view from the interior of the vehicle can be greatly expanded, and the distance of movement of the line of sight when viewing the area behind the vehicle can be shortened.
