Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problem of a metal drain for repairing work that: a material of the metal drain directly set on an existing drain cannot secure good compatibility to a substrate if the strength of a tubular section of the drain is preferentially taken into consideration and cannot secure a sufficient draining volume if the compatibility of the repairing drain to the substrate is preferentially taken into consideration.
SOLUTION: There is provided a new repairing drain having a skirt attached thereto in order to improve the compatibility to the substrate and the adhesiveness of a newly constructed waterproofing layer. By using the repairing drain, flexibility and compatibility are improved, and therefore the repairing drain is made applicable to the substrate different in shape. Further the repairing drain secures the draining volume equivalent to the draining volume of the existing drain.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI

Description

【0001】

[0001]
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION 1. Field of the Invention The present invention relates to a drain member used for waterproofing repair work and the like.
[0002]
2. Description of the Related Art There are two basic methods for repairing waterproofing: a "removal method" in which the existing waterproof layer is completely removed, and a "covering method" in which new waterproofing is applied on the existing waterproof layer. The drain for repair work of the present invention is a metal drain for repair used in the “covering method” that is directly installed on the existing drain. In the “covering method”, the drain for repair is installed directly from above on the drain pipe of the existing drain without removing the existing drain, the existing waterproof layer around it, and the existing holding concrete. As shown in FIG. 2, the shape of the existing drain is composed of a tubular portion 1 inserted into the water distribution pipe portion and a flange portion 2 that comes into contact with the base.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
Conventionally, since the metal drain for renovation work is directly installed on the existing drain, there are problems in the following characteristics required characteristics.
1. The base shape (including surrounding concrete) is diversified, and uniformity is low in conformity, so flexibility that is easy to adapt to the shape is required.
2. There is a problem in adhesion and water tightness with various new waterproof layers.
3. To be inserted into existing water pipes, the tubular part of the drain must have a certain strength to prevent deformation during insertion.
4. The tubular portion of the drain must be thin to ensure drainage.
In order to solve the above items 1 and 2, a drain made of lead is usually used in many cases. However, since the lead material is soft, problems remain with respect to the above item 3. In particular, with regard to the above four items, ordinary lead drain can often secure only about 70% of the drainage amount before renovation, which is a major drainage problem.
Copper drain is also used as a relatively soft and strong material, but there is room for improvement in the above points 1 and 2.
As described above, when selecting the material of the metal drain, if the strength of the tubular portion is prioritized, the familiarity with the base is deteriorated, and if the familiarity with the base is prioritized, a sufficient amount of drainage cannot be secured.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above problems, the invention according to claim 1 is a material that is deformable to conform to the shape of a base material and has high adhesion to a newly-installed waterproof layer by mechanical and / or chemical bonding means. A metal drain provided with a skirt formed by:
[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
One embodiment of the present invention is shown in FIG.
The body of the drain consists of a tubular part 1 and a flange part 2 inserted into the drain. A skirt 3 formed of a material that is deformable to conform to the base shape and is compatible with a newly-installed waterproof layer is separately joined to the outer periphery of the flange of the drain body.
The metal of the drain body is preferably stainless steel, copper, or a copper alloy which has strength even if it is thin and has rustproof properties. The material of the skirt to be separately bonded is preferably a metal material of lead or a lead alloy, a soft vinyl chloride resin, a hard rubber, or the like, depending on a material of a newly installed waterproof layer.
The size of the skirt to be separately joined is preferably 10 cm to 30 cm in the case of a circular shape and 10 cm square to 40 cm in the case of a quadrangular shape in consideration of the joint area with the waterproof material.
There are two methods for joining the metal drain body and the skirt, depending on the material of the skirt portion. When the skirt is made of metal, welding or soldering is used. In this case, it is conceivable to use an adhesive together. On the other hand, when the skirt is made of a soft vinyl chloride resin or hard rubber, the skirt is joined with an adhesive.
[0006]
By using this drain,
1. Since the thickness of the drain tubular portion is reduced, a large amount of drainage can be secured even when inserted into an existing water pipe.
2. When inserted into existing water pipes or when delivering materials, the shape is less likely to collapse without the use of protective materials.
3. By appropriately setting the material of the skirt 3 to a metal material such as lead or a lead alloy or a soft vinyl chloride resin, it is possible to cope with various base shapes.
