【0011】

Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a water-soluble ultraviolet absorbing liquid which is excellent in transparency and durability and which can be easily wiped off with a wet cloth or the like as necessary.
[0005]
[Means for Solving the Problems]

The invention according to claim 5 is the water-soluble ultraviolet absorbing liquid according to claim 1, wherein the lower alcohol accounts for 2 to 20% by weight.
[0006]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
The ultraviolet absorbent used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is solubilized in lower alcohol and water. For example, examples of the ultraviolet absorber include benzophenone, salicylic acid, cyanoacrylate, and benzotriazole. Preferably, a benzophenone type is used, for example, 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-benzophenone-5-sulfonic acid (“Uvinul D-3050”, BSF Japan Ltd.), 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-benzophenone (“Uvinul M”). -40 "BSF Japan Ltd.), 2,2'-dihydroxy-4,4'-dimethoxybenzophenone (" Uvinul D-49 "BSF Japan Ltd.) and the like. The amount of the ultraviolet absorber used is, for example, 0.1 to 5% by weight, and preferably 0.3 to 3% by weight, based on the entire ultraviolet absorbent. When the amount is less than 0.1% by weight, there is almost no ultraviolet absorbing effect. On the other hand, if the content exceeds 5% by weight, the solubility in lower alcohols and water becomes poor, and the dried film becomes cloudy or colored, or the ultraviolet absorbent precipitates in the liquid.
[0007]
The modified polyvinyl alcohol used in the present invention contains an oxyalkylene group in an amount of 0.5 to 10 mol%. If the oxyalkylene group is less than 0.5 mol%, the storage stability of the aqueous solution will be poor, and if it exceeds 10 mol%, the dispersion stability of the ultraviolet absorber will be poor, which is not preferable. Examples of the oxyalkylene group include a polyoxyethylene monoallyl ether group.
As such a modified polyvinyl alcohol, a commercially available one can be used, and examples thereof include Gosefimer LW series (Nippon Synthetic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., nonvolatile content: 39 to 41%). The amount of the modified polyvinyl alcohol to be used is, for example, 3 to 30% by weight, and preferably 6 to 20% by weight, based on the whole ultraviolet absorbing liquid. When the use amount of the modified polyvinyl alcohol is less than 3% by weight, the film is unfavorably exposed to moisture, for example, due to dew condensation, and a tough film cannot be obtained as an ultraviolet absorbing film. On the other hand, if it exceeds 30% by weight, the viscosity of the ultraviolet absorbing liquid is high, and a smooth surface cannot be obtained during coating, which is not preferable.
[0008]
The water-soluble acrylic resin used in the present invention is not particularly limited as long as it is water-soluble. As the water-soluble acrylic resin, commercially available ones can be used, and examples thereof include Kogum HW-7 (a non-volatile content of 40 to 42% manufactured by Showa Polymer Co., Ltd.). The amount of the water-soluble acrylic resin used is, for example, 3 to 30% by weight, and preferably 6 to 20% by weight, based on the entire ultraviolet absorbing liquid. When the use amount of the water-soluble acrylic resin is less than 3% by weight, elongation and leveling properties are deteriorated. On the other hand, if it exceeds 30% by weight, the viscosity of the ultraviolet absorbing liquid is high, and a smooth surface cannot be obtained during coating, which is not preferable.
[0009]
The lower alcohol used in the present invention includes, for example, those having 3 or less carbon atoms, and specifically, any one of ethanol, methanol, and isopropanol, or a mixture thereof is preferable.
The usage amount of the lower alcohol is, for example, 2 to 20% by weight, and preferably 5 to 15% by weight, based on the whole ultraviolet absorbing liquid. When the use amount of the lower alcohol is less than 2% by weight, the ultraviolet absorber is not sufficiently dissolved. On the other hand, if it exceeds 20% by weight, drying is quick and the coated surface tends to have a citron texture, which is not preferable.
[0010]
In the ultraviolet absorbing solution of the present invention, in addition to the above essential components, if necessary, an antioxidant, a surfactant, a cellulose-based water-soluble resin, an antifoaming agent, a preservative, a fragrance, a dye, and the like can be added. is there.
[0011]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be specifically described with reference to Examples and Comparative Examples. In the examples, “parts” means parts by weight.
(Method for evaluating the performance of UV absorbing liquid)
1. An ultraviolet absorbing film was prepared and the transmittance of ultraviolet light at a wavelength of 350 nm was measured using an ultraviolet spectrophotometer (“UV-1600”, Shimadzu Corporation), and the ultraviolet absorbing ability was evaluated according to the following evaluation criteria. The measurement temperature was 23 ° C., and the film thickness was 50 μm.
UV cut rate (%) = 100 (%)-UV transmittance (%)
:: UV cut rate of 70% or more ○: UV cut rate of 50% to less than 70% Δ: UV cut rate of 30% to less than 50% ×: UV cut rate of less than 30%
2. The smoothness of the film was evaluated visually.
[0013]
3. The transparency was visually evaluated.
[0014]
4. The wiping property was evaluated by the number of times of wiping with a wet cloth.
◎: less than 3 times :: 3 times or more and less than 5 times △: 5 times or more and less than 10 times x: 10 times or more
(Example 1)
A glass container equipped with a stirrer was charged with 50 parts of ethanol and 6 parts of 2-hydroxy-4-methoxy-benzophenone-5-sulfonic acid (“Uvinul D-3050” BSF Japan, Ltd.) and stirred for 10 minutes. Thereafter, 200 parts of a modified polyvinyl alcohol (“Gosefimer LW-300” manufactured by Nippon Synthetic Chemical Industry Co., Ltd., nonvolatile content 39.5%, oxyalkylene group content 2 mol%, saponification degree 50%), water-soluble acrylic 200 parts of a resin (“Coham HW-7”, 40.5% of non-volatile content, manufactured by Showa Polymer Co., Ltd.) and 550 parts of water were charged and stirred for 30 minutes. A liquid was obtained. Table 1 shows the evaluation results of the ultraviolet absorbing solution.
[0016]
(Examples 2 to 6 and Comparative Examples 1 to 10)
An ultraviolet absorbing liquid was obtained in the same manner as in Example 1 except that the amount of the ultraviolet absorber, the amount of the modified polyvinyl alcohol, the amount of the water-soluble acrylic resin, and the amount of ethanol were changed as shown in Tables 1 and 2. The evaluation results are shown in Tables 1 and 2.
