Therefore, the present invention solves such a problem, and it is possible to reliably prevent the deterioration of the sealing function between the receiving port and the insertion port caused by the dimensional tolerance of the receiving port and the insertion port that are joined to each other. It is intended to provide a joint structure.
[0016]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the invention according to claim 1 is characterized in that a sealing material press-contact surface and a lock ring receiving groove are formed on the inner periphery of a receiving port of one of the pipes from an opening side of the receiving port, and the lock ring receiving groove is formed. An annular lock ring is housed in the lock ring, and the insertion opening of the other pipe is inserted into the lock ring to a position where it can engage with the lock ring from the back side of the socket, and the seal material pressing surface and the lock ring housing An annular sealing material protection member is arranged on the outer periphery of the insertion opening corresponding to the boundary with the groove, and an annular sealing material is arranged in a compressed state between the sealing material pressing surface and the outer periphery of the insertion opening. In a joint structure of a pipe in which a sealing function is provided between the receiving port and the insertion port, the sealing material protecting member is formed from a small-diameter portion that can be disposed inside the boundary portion and the small-diameter portion. Also has a large diameter and is Sealing material is one having a large diameter portion capable of preventing from entering the gap between the inner circumference and the small diameter portion of the boundary portion.
[0017]
According to such a configuration, the annular sealing material protection member is formed with a small-diameter portion formed so as to be able to be disposed inside the boundary portion, and the sealing material formed in a larger diameter than the small-diameter portion and in a compressed state is formed at the boundary portion. By having a large-diameter portion capable of preventing entry into the gap between the inner circumference of the small-diameter portion and the small-diameter portion, the sealing material in a compressed state attempts to enter the gap between the inner circumference of the boundary portion and the small-diameter portion. In this case, the sealing member can be reliably prevented from entering the gap by the large-diameter portion formed to have a larger diameter than the small-diameter portion.
[0018]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, in the pipe joint structure according to the first aspect, a maximum outer diameter of a large-diameter portion of the sealing material protection member is formed larger than an inner diameter of a boundary portion, and the sealing material protection member is connected to the boundary portion. When disposed inside the portion, a portion of the large-diameter portion formed larger than the inner diameter of the boundary portion is deformed by contacting the boundary portion.
[0019]
According to such a configuration, the maximum outer diameter of the large-diameter portion in the sealing material protection member is formed to be larger than the inner diameter of the boundary portion, and when the sealing material protection member is disposed inside the boundary portion, A portion of the large diameter portion that is formed larger than the inner diameter of the boundary portion can be deformed by contacting the boundary portion. Thereby, the sealing material protection member arranged inside the boundary portion is always in contact with the inner circumference of the boundary portion, regardless of the size between the inner circumference of the boundary portion and the outer circumference of the insertion opening. It is possible to reliably prevent the compressed sealing material from entering the gap between the inner circumference of the boundary portion and the small diameter portion.
[0020]
According to a third aspect of the present invention, in the joint structure for a pipe according to the first or second aspect, when the sealing material protecting member is disposed inside the boundary, the large-diameter portion that contacts the boundary is deformed. Is formed on the sealing material protection member.
[0021]
According to such a configuration, when the sealing material protection member is disposed inside the boundary portion, a digging portion for deforming the large diameter portion that contacts the boundary portion is formed in the sealing material protection member. By doing so, the large-diameter portion that contacts the boundary portion can be easily deformed. Therefore, the seal member protecting member can be easily and smoothly arranged inside the boundary portion.
[0022]
According to a fourth aspect of the present invention, in the pipe joint structure according to any one of the first to third aspects, the sealing material protecting member has a main body portion forming a small diameter portion and a pipe radially outward from the main body portion. And a protruding portion which is formed to protrude to form a large diameter portion.
[0023]
According to such a configuration, the sealing material protection member has the main body portion forming the small diameter portion, and the projecting portion formed to protrude outward in the pipe diameter direction from the main body portion to form the large diameter portion. Therefore, when the sealing material in the compressed state attempts to enter the gap between the inner periphery of the boundary and the main body, the projecting portion causes the sealing material in the compressed state to enter the gap between the inner periphery of the boundary and the main body. Intrusion can be reliably prevented.
[0024]
According to a fifth aspect of the present invention, in the pipe joint structure according to any one of the first to third aspects, the sealing material protecting member is formed in a tapered shape from the large diameter portion to the small diameter portion.
[0025]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION

Next, as
[0059]
The above Tests 1 and 3 were performed again under special conditions such as the above conditions 1 to 3. When the backup rings of the shapes D and F were used, both of them were the inner periphery of the boundary and the backup ring. The sealing material in the compressed state did not enter the gap between the ring and the joint, and no water leakage was observed at this joint.
[0060]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, the annular sealing material protecting member is formed such that a small-diameter portion formed so as to be able to be disposed inside the boundary portion and a sealing material in a compressed state formed to have a larger diameter than the small-diameter portion. By having a large-diameter portion capable of preventing entry into the gap between the inner periphery of the portion and the small-diameter portion, the sealing material in a compressed state tries to enter the gap between the inner periphery of the boundary portion and the small-diameter portion. In this case, the large-diameter portion formed to have a larger diameter than the small-diameter portion can reliably prevent the sealing material from entering the gap.
[0061]
Further, when the maximum outer diameter of the large diameter portion in the sealing material protection member is formed to be larger than the inner diameter of the boundary portion, and when the sealing material protection member is disposed inside the boundary portion, the boundary in the large diameter portion is reduced. The portion formed to be larger than the inner diameter of the portion can be deformed by contacting the boundary portion, so that the sealing material protection member disposed inside the boundary portion can have an inner periphery of the boundary portion and an outer periphery of the insertion opening. Irrespective of the size between the inner and outer diameters of the boundary portion, it is possible to reliably prevent the compressed sealing material from entering the gap between the inner circumference of the boundary portion and the small diameter portion. it can.
[0062]
Further, when the sealing material protection member is disposed inside the boundary portion, a burglary portion for deforming the large diameter portion that contacts the boundary portion is formed in the sealing material protection member, The large diameter portion that contacts the boundary can be easily deformed. Therefore, the seal member protecting member can be easily and smoothly arranged inside the boundary portion.
[0063]
Further, since the sealing material protecting member has the main body portion and the protruding portion formed so as to protrude outward in the pipe radial direction from the main body portion, the sealing material in a compressed state is formed between the inner periphery of the boundary portion and the main body portion. When trying to enter the gap, the protrusion can surely prevent the compressed sealing material from entering the gap between the inner periphery of the boundary and the main body.
