Description

【0001】

[Industrial applications]
INDUSTRIAL APPLICABILITY The present invention has a good cleaning performance on hard surface cleaning compositions, especially metal soap stains and sebum stains on hard surfaces such as bathrooms and wash basins, and is safe for the human body and relatively ventilated. The present invention relates to a hard surface cleaning composition which does not give an unpleasant raw material odor even in a bad bathroom, has good biodegradability, and has bactericidal properties.
[0002]
[Conventional technology and problems to be solved]
Generally, depending on the purpose of use, hard surface cleaners require not only cleaning performance but also additional functions such as foaming properties, rinsing properties and antifouling properties, and are suitable for target materials such as less corrosive to cleaning objects. Consideration is given to the effect of For example, a combination of an amidoaminomonocarboxylic acid or a salt thereof and an amidoaminodicarboxylic acid or a salt thereof proposes a bathroom cleaning composition having excellent detergency, foaming property, and rinsing property (Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2001-2001). No. -303094) and a proposal of a liquid detergent composition having high detergency by combining glyceryl ether with a cationic surfactant and a builder and having no damage to styrene resin (Japanese Patent No. 324284). Has been done. However, these are mainly intended for performance as a cleaning agent and consideration for an object, and do not describe the effect on the user or the environment after drainage.
[0003]
On the other hand, if it cannot be washed with a normal neutral detergent such as metal soap, an acidic detergent is effective. However, it not only damages the target substance, but if it is used without gloves, it may cause rough hands and chlorine bleach. The combined use of these is expected to adversely affect the human body, such as the generation of chlorine gas. As a proposal for this, JP-A-8-176595 discloses a method in which a chelating agent exhibiting acidity is mixed with morpholine or a derivative thereof in the presence of a surfactant. The aqueous detergent composition neutralized with the compound exhibits excellent detergency against bathroom stains, and because it is in the neutral area, it hardly invades bathroom materials such as metals and marble, and there is no worry about rough hands. He said that he found little. Certainly, in the neutral region, adverse effects on the human body can be suppressed as compared with the case of alkaline or acidic. However, regarding the safety of components specifically used other than liquid, the method of selecting the components is not strongly appealed.
[0004]
Further, as a conventional commercially available product, for example, a hard surface cleaner used in a bathroom is thought to mask the solvent odor contained in the composition, but most of them have a very strong aroma. Considering use in places with relatively poor ventilation, such as bathrooms, it can be said that those with too high a raw odor or perfume odor are not suitable.
[0005]
Furthermore, most of the conventional hard surface cleaning agents used in bathrooms as commercially available products have a disinfecting effect. Patent No. 3236704 states that a bathroom liquid detergent composition containing a specific amount of a specific component such as a betaine-type amphoteric surfactant, a fatty acid, an organic amine, or an inorganic alkali has excellent detergency, foaming power, and the like. But does not mention antimicrobial properties. On the other hand, it is described that the liquid detergent composition proposed in the above-mentioned Japanese Patent No. 3240284 also has bactericidal properties. However, although it is considered that the definition of eradication is ambiguous, there is a commercially available product that shows almost no bactericidal activity even when the bacteria are directly brought into contact with the commercial product composition itself for an action time according to the method of use. It is true to do.
[0006]
Therefore, the present invention not only neutralizes the liquidity of the composition, but also seeks higher safety for a user of the components to be blended, enhances biodegradability in the environment after drainage, and a bathroom. Hard surface cleaner composition that does not give unpleasant raw material odor even when used in the inside or the wash basin, and can exhibit higher sterilizing power and higher detergency than various types of dirt, especially sebum dirt and metal soap dirt The purpose is to provide things.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present inventors, in order to achieve the above object, to select from raw materials that are also used for the human body from the viewpoint of safety, that is, cosmetic raw materials, and to use them in poorly ventilated bathrooms and the like. Considering this, a material having a relatively low odor was selected. It is a well-known fact that a chelating agent having a high chelating ability with respect to a metal soap, such as edetic acid (EDTA) or a salt thereof, which has been widely used in the past, is considered to be hardly biodegradable in a natural environment. In order to improve this point, a chelating agent having an amino acid skeleton having high safety and excellent biodegradability was used. The present chelating agent is an easily biodegradable chelating agent showing a decomposition rate of 90% or more in a test equivalent to the modified SCAS method of the essential biodegradability test in the OECD guidelines. As will be described in detail in the following examples, this chelating agent alone has a weaker chelating power than the edetate, but has a metal soap removal ability equal to or higher than that in the case where a high edetate having a high chelating power is blended. In addition, as a result of intensive studies, the specific components (A), (B) and (C) are well-balanced in order to have a sufficient sterilizing effect and a performance capable of exhibiting a higher detergency than before. The present inventors have found out that it can be made possible by combining them, and have completed the present invention.
[0008]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in detail.
[0009]
The product of the present invention is a hard surface cleaning composition containing the following components (A), (B) and (C) and having a neutral pH of the composition.
(A) amphoteric surfactant 0.1 to 10% by weight,
(C) 0.1 to 10% by weight of a polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl ether,
(B) 0.1 to 10% by weight of a chelating agent having the following structure
[0010]
Embedded image
Figure 2004204196
[M is hydrogen, alkali metal, alkaline earth metal, alkanolamine, ammonium or a mixture thereof]
[0011]
Specifically, component (A) is a betaine-type amphoteric surfactant, component (B) is an alkali metal salt of L-glutamic acid diacetate, and component (C) is polyoxyethylene (n = 1 to 45) polyoxypropylene ( n = 2 to 38) butyl ether.
[0012]
More specifically, the component used as the component (A) is a betaine-type amphoteric surfactant having a low irritation, and is preferably an alkyldimethylaminoacetate betaine in order to increase the detergency against sebum stains and metallic soap stains. Examples include betaine lauryldimethylaminoacetate, betaine myristyldimethylaminoacetate, betaine oleyldimethylaminoacetate, betaine stearyldimethylaminoacetate and the like. Particularly preferred are betaine lauryldimethylaminoacetate (for example, Ricabion A-100 (effective concentration 30%) available from Shin Nippon Rika Co., Ltd.) and betaine myristyl dimethylaminoacetate (for example, Shin Nihon Rika Co., Ltd.). (Available at 30% effective concentration).
[0013]
The component used as component (B) is L-glutamic acid diacetate, and preferably L-glutamic acid diacetate / 4Na. For example, Chirest CMG-40 (effective concentration: 40%) of Kyrest Co., Ltd. can be used favorably.
[0014]
The component used as the component (C) is a polyalkylene glycol monoalkyl ether, preferably polyoxyethylene (n = 1 to 45) polyoxypropylene (n = 2 to 38) butyl ether, and has a detergency and a metallic soap. It is characterized by an excellent effect of addition on the dissolving power and extremely low solvent odor. Considering both the solubility of metal soap and the solvent odor, for example, Adeka Carpol MH-4 (Asahi Denka Kogyo Co., Ltd.) can be preferably used.
[0015]
The content of the component (A) is from 0.1 to 10% by weight, preferably from 2 to 8% by weight, in the hard surface cleaning composition, in view of imparting sufficient detergency and economical efficiency. And particularly preferably 4 to 6% by weight.
[0016]
The content of the component (B) is from 0.1 to 10% by weight, preferably from 2 to 8% by weight in the hard surface cleaning composition in consideration of providing sufficient detergency and economical efficiency. And particularly preferably 3 to 5% by weight.
[0017]
The content of the component (C) is from 0.1 to 10% by weight, and preferably from 2 to 8% by weight, in the hard surface cleaning composition in consideration of imparting sufficient detergency and economical efficiency. And particularly preferably 3 to 5% by weight.
[0018]
The present invention generally includes surfactants, fragrances, dyes, solubilizers, and other detergents other than the component (A) in addition to the above basic components, if necessary, as long as the effects of the present invention are not impaired. Components that are well blended can also be appropriately blended.
[0019]
【Example】
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described in more detail with reference to Examples, but the present invention is not limited to only these Examples.
[0020]
The compositions (% by weight) of Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5 shown in Table 1 were prepared. The obtained composition was subjected to the following detergency test and odor test. The obtained results are also shown in Table 1.
[0021]
(Detergency test)
A certain amount of the artificial soil shown in Table 2 is uniformly applied to a stainless steel piece (3 × 5 cm) under heating conditions. After standing to cool, dipped in 90-95 ° C. water for 30 seconds, dried, dipped in 90-95 ° C. 10% aqueous calcium chloride solution for 15 seconds, and dried to obtain a model stain test piece for a detergency test. did. The test piece was suspended vertically, and each composition shown in Table 1 was sprayed three times on the soiled surface using a foam spray. At this time, the distance between the spray and the test piece was about 15 cm. Two minutes after the injection, the sample was rinsed with tap water at a constant flow rate (about 1.3 L / s) at 20 ° C. for 10 seconds. At this time, no physical rubbing force was applied except for the water flow. After natural drying, the degree of removal of stains was visually determined according to the criteria in Table 3.
[0022]
(Odor test)
Each composition shown in Table 1 was filled in a foam spray container, and five testers used it as a hard surface cleaner in an actual bathroom. Obtained.
[0023]
From Examples 1 to 3 and Comparative Examples 1 to 3, by combining specific components (A), (B) and (C) in a well-balanced manner, with respect to the cleaning performance, Chillest CMG-40 was ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid / 4Na / 4H. It can be seen that the compounding effect is superior to 2O.
[0024]
From Examples 1 to 4 and Comparative Examples 1 to 5, it can be seen that the product of the present invention has not only excellent cleaning performance but also practically no noticeable odor of raw materials without masking with a fragrance in practical use.

Figure 2004204196
[0029]
The following antibacterial activity tests and the above-mentioned detergency tests were carried out on Examples 1-4 and conventional commercial products. Table 5 shows the obtained results.
[0030]
(Antibacterial test)
Escherichia coli cultured at 37 ° C. for 24 hours in a liquid broth medium was diluted 100 times with distilled water to obtain a test bacterial solution. A test tube containing 10 ml of each composition was inoculated with 0.2 ml of the test bacterial solution, stirred, and allowed to act at 20 ° C. for 30 seconds or 3 minutes to measure the number of surviving bacteria. The number of surviving bacteria was determined as the number of bacteria (1 CFU / ml) in 1 ml of the test tube solution after the action, and the number of bacteria when treated with 10 ml of distilled water as a control was also determined.
[0031]
[Table 5]
Figure 2004204196
[0032]
The commercially available products in Table 5 are products that claim a disinfecting effect, but the antibacterial activity against Escherichia coli was the same as that of distilled water. Probably, it may claim the sterilization effect by the cleaning action, but the cleaning property is not so much expected as compared with Examples 1-4. It can be seen that the product of the present invention has excellent disinfection performance not only from the cleaning action but also from the direct disinfection action against bacteria.
[0033]
【The invention's effect】
The hard surface cleaning composition of the present invention has excellent sterilizing power and a higher detergency for sebum stains and metallic soap stains than ever before, and also has a neutral pH for the composition, resulting in rough hands. Generation of chlorine gas due to erroneous use with chlorine bleach or chlorine bleaching agent, and there is no fear of corrosiveness to the object to be used. Regarding the selection of ingredients, care should be taken not only for the object to be used but also for the person who uses it, and raw materials used for the human body, that is, cosmetic raw materials, and even when used in poorly ventilated places such as bathrooms, for example, The odor was suppressed without feeling unpleasant. Furthermore, in order to improve the effect on the environment after drainage, a chelating agent (eg, edetate), which has a very strong chelating power and is known to be hardly biodegradable, is used. It has been realized that the cleaning performance as a hard surface cleaning composition can be synergistically improved by a specific combination effect with other components, by replacing the amino acid-based chelating agent with a water-soluble amino acid-based chelating agent.
