このような目的を果たすために、本発明の請求項1においては、箱体4の開口面に沿って延設されたガイドレール6に摺合すると共に、箱体の一端部に設けられた収容部8に収容される可撓性スライド蓋5を有する小物入れの構成を、スライド蓋の収容部側の端部に、スライド蓋を開放するための開方向駆動手段(開放駆動機構21)を付設するものとした。

以下に添付の図面を参照して本発明について詳細に説明する。

図1は、本発明に基づく小物入れが適用された自動車のセンターコンソールボックス1を示している。このセンターコンソールボックス1は、乗用車の運転席2と前部客席3との間に設けられており、その上面を開放させた箱体4が、センターコンソールボックス1の内側に埋め込まれている。そして箱体4の開口は、開閉自在なスライド蓋5で通常は塞がれるようになっている。

上記のように構成された小物入れによれば、スライド蓋5を閉じるときは、アーム16に加わる捩りコイルばね18の弾発的回転力に抗してつまみ部11を一杯前進させると、スライド蓋5の前端裏面の溝13にロック爪12が引っ掛かり、自動的に閉状態が保持される。

以上詳述した通り本発明の請求項1の構成によれば、スライド蓋の進行方向の前端に加わる駆動力で開蓋運動が行われるので、開蓋動作円滑性の信頼度を高める上に多大な効果を奏することができる。また請求項2の構成によれば、簡略な構造でスライド蓋を収容部に確実に収容することができる。
