Abstract
【解決方法】符号分割多元接続(CDMA)および時分割複信(TDD)情報伝送手法を用いたこの発明の無線通信システムは、地上設置送受信装置を有する伝送装置と、遠隔配置のRF電力増幅器とアンテナと、地上設置装置を遠隔配置のRF電力増幅器に接続するRFケーブルとを備える。地上設置装置および遠隔配置のRF電力増幅器に配置した電力レベル検出器がRFケーブルの両端における信号レベルを測定する。その測定値をマイクロコントローラが比較して、送信信号経路中の可変減衰器および受信信号経路の中の可変減衰器を調整し、信号損失に伴う変動による信号レベル変動を補償する。

Claims (12)
- 第1および第2の位置の間に延びる少なくとも一つのケーブルを有する時分割複信(TDD)通信システム用の基地局であって、
前記第1の位置で送信信号電力レベルを測定する第1の電力レベル検出手段(402)および前記第2の位置で送信信号電力レベルを測定する第2の電力レベル検出手段(403)と、
前記送信信号電力レベルを前記第2の位置から前記第1の位置にフィードバックするフィードバック手段(350)と、
前記第1および第2の電力レベル検出手段からの電力レベルを比較するとともに前記二つの位置の間の損失を測定する前記第1の位置における比較手段(300)と、
前記送信信号の前記電力レベルを制御する前記第1の位置における減衰手段(401、404)と、
前記比較手段(300)に応答して前記減衰手段を制御する前記第1の位置における制御手段(311)と
を含むTDD通信システム用の基地局。 - 前記第1の位置が基地局マスト先端ユニットを有し前記第2の位置が基地局地上設置装置を有し、前記第2の位置を前記第1の位置にケーブルで接続し、前記地上設置装置から前記マスト先端ユニットに送られる信号に減衰を生じさせる請求項1記載の基地局であって、
前記地上設置装置(300)において
前記送信信号線に接続され第1の電力レベル信号を出力する第1の電力レベル検出器(402)と、
前記送信信号線に接続した補償減衰器(401)と、
前記補償減衰器(401)を制御する少なくとも一つのコントローラと
をさらに含み、
前記マスト先端ユニット(320)において
前記送信信号線に接続され第2の電力レベル信号を生ずる第2の電力レベル検出器(403)であって、前記減衰の量に基づく前記第2の電力レベル信号を前記地上設置装置に送る第2の電力レベル検出器(403)
をさらに含み、
前記コントローラ(301)が前記第1および第2の電力レベル信号を比較してその結果により前記補償減衰器(401)を制御する
請求項1記載の基地局。 - 受信信号線に接続した第2の補償減衰器(404)をさらに含む請求項2記載の基地局。
- 前記コントローラ(311)が前記第2の補償減衰器(404)を制御する請求項3記載の基地局。
- 前記第1および第2の電力レベル検出器(402、403)の間の制御信号の授受のために前記マスト先端ユニットと前記地上設置装置との間に接続した電力および制御ケーブル(350)をさらに含む請求項2記載の基地局。
- 前記地上設置装置の中に配置されるとともに、前記受信信号線、前記送信信号線および前記ケーブルに接続された第1のダイプレクサ(307)をさらに含む請求項3記載の基地局。
- 前記地上設置装置が前記送信信号線に接続したセルサイズ減衰器(308)をさらに含む請求項2記載の基地局。
- 前記地上設置装置が前記送信信号線に接続した送信前置増幅器(309)をさらに含む請求項2記載の基地局。
- 前記マスト先端ユニットの中に配置されるとともに、前記受信信号線、前記送信信号線および前記ケーブルに接続された第2のダイプレクサ(301)をさらに含む請求項3記載の基地局。
- 前記マスト先端ユニットが前記送信信号線に接続した高出力電力増幅器(304)をさらに含む請求項2記載の基地局。
- 前記マスト先端ユニットが前記受信信号線に接続した低雑音増幅器(302)をさらに含む請求項3記載の基地局。
- 前記マスト先端ユニットがアンテナ(360)、前記送信信号線および前記受信信号線に接続したアンテナダイプレクサ(303)をさらに含む請求項3記載の基地局。
