この発明は、扉に電気錠を設けて建物の出入口の管理を行なうために用いられる出入口管理装置に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の出入口管理装置は次のように動作する。まず、建物の入口側に設置されたカードリーダにカード(磁気カード等)が挿入されると出入口管理装置はそのカードに記憶されたカード情報を読込む。そして、そのカード情報が予め出入口管理装置に記憶された開錠許容情報と一致した時は、電気錠を解錠して入室させ、同時に、入室者を検知するように設けられた光センサで入室した人数をカウントしている。この時、入室者が複数であったとされた時は警告ブザーを鳴らし、周囲の注意を喚起させようとしたものである。(例えば、特許文献1参照)

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
上記、従来の出入口管理装置には、入室者を検知するために光センサが用いられているため、複数の人が光センサの検出ラインに対して途切れずに一塊になって入室した場合、このような光センサでは複数の人が入室したことを認識することができないという課題があった。
また、光センサは入室した人を検知するものであり、入口近傍で入室しようとしている人が複数居るか否かは認識できず、電気錠の解錠時にカードリーダを操作して入室が許可された人と一緒に、入口近傍に居た他の人も許可を受けずに入室される機会が生じるという課題があった。

この発明は上記のような課題を解決するためになされたもので、複数の入室者を管理すると共に、許可を受けずに入口近傍に居る人の入室を防ぐことができる出入口管理装置を得ることを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
この発明における出入口管理装置は、扉を施錠及び解錠する電気錠と、扉の入口近傍に設けられ、個人情報が入力され扉からの入場が申請される入場申請手段と、扉からの入場を許可された人物の個人情報を予め記憶した登録者情報記憶手段と、登録者情報記憶手段に記憶された個人情報と入場申請手段に入力された個人情報が一致した場合に入場申請手段に入力された個人情報の人物に対して入場許可と判別すると共に、この入場許可と判別された人物の数を記憶する入場承認手段と、扉の入口近傍を監視する監視カメラと、監視カメラで撮影された画像に写っている人物の数を識別する画像処理手段と、入場承認手段において入場許可と判別されて記憶された人物の数と画像処理手段において識別された人物の数とが一致した場合に電気錠を解錠する制御手段とを備えたものである。

【発明の実施の形態】
実施の形態1.
図1は、本発明の実施の形態1における出入口管理装置の配置を建物の天井側より立体的に示した出入口管理装置の配置図である。図において、建物1の入口2と建物1の室内3との間を仕切る壁4に扉5が設けられている。入口2には、扉5の近傍の監視領域6(図において破線で示した部分)を監視する監視カメラ7及び個人情報(例えば、ID番号等)が記録され、室内3へ入場するために使用されるカード(図示せず)から個人情報を読取る入場申請手段としてのカードリーダ8が設けられている。人物Aおよび人物Bは、監視領域6内に居て、室内3に入ろうとしている人物である。また、室内3には、扉5からの出入を制御する制御手段としての制御装置9が設けられている。

図2は、本発明の実施の形態1における出入口管理装置の扉5の水平断面を示した扉断面図である。図において、扉5には、制御装置9からの電気信号により施錠解錠が制御される電気錠10と、扉5の開閉状態を検知する扉開閉センサ11と、入口2側のドアノブ12および室内3側のドアノブ13とが設けられている。扉5を施錠するためのラッチボルト14は、電気錠10から壁4へ進退可能に設けられている。壁4には、ラッチボルト14が突出した時に落込む凹部14が設けられている。電気錠10が解錠された時、ラッチボルト14は、ドアノブ12を操作することにより進退が可能となり、扉5a(図において破線で示した部分)のように扉5を押し開けて入口2から室内3へ入場することができるように構成されている。また、電気錠10が施錠された時、ラッチボルト14は、凹部15に落込んだ状態でロックされ、入口2から室内3への入場が禁止されるように構成されている。

図3は、本発明の実施の形態1における出入口管理装置のブロック図である。図において、制御手段としての制御装置9は、室内3への入場を許可されている人物の個人情報を予め記憶した登録者情報記憶手段16と、カードリーダ8で読取られた個人情報が登録者情報記憶手段16に記憶された個人情報と一致するか否かを判定する判別手段17と、判別手段17で一致と判定された人物の数を記憶する人数記憶手段18と、監視カメラ7で撮影された画像から人物を識別する人物識別手段19と、人物識別手段19で識別された人物の数を記憶する人数記憶手段20と、人数記憶手段18に記憶された人数と人数記憶手段20に記憶された人数が一致するか否かを判定する比較手段21と、比較手段21で一致と判定された時は電気錠10を解錠する電気信号を発生させ、また、扉開閉センサ11からの情報に基づいて一旦開いた扉5が再度閉じたと判定した時は電気錠10を施錠する電気信号を発生させる施錠解錠指示手段22とから構成されている。

なお、制御装置9を構成する各手段は、CPU、ROM、RAM、画像処理回路および他の装置との情報交換を行うI/O回路等のハードウェアと上記ROMに記憶された制御プログラム等で実現されるものである。ここで、画像処理回路は、人物識別手段19を構成するハードウェアであり、例えば、特開平7−37064号公報に開示されているように、監視カメラより時間差をおいて入力した2枚の画像間の差画像を求めた後に、この差画像より輪郭画像を求め、更にこの輪郭画像より特徴量を求めて人物を認識するように構成しても良い。

図4は、本発明の実施の形態1における出入口管理装置のフローチャート図である。このフローチャート図に示された手順に従って本発明の実施の形態1における出入口管理装置の動作について説明する。

まず、室内3に入場しようとする人物、例えば、図1に示した人物Aが個人情報を記録したカードをカードリーダ8に挿入してカードに記録された個人情報を読込ませると、判別手段17はカードリーダ8で読込まれた個人情報が予め登録者情報記憶手段16に記憶された個人情報の中にあるか否かを検索する(ステップS1)。その結果、登録者情報記憶手段16に記憶された個人情報の中にあるとされた時は、人数記憶手段18により許可人数(n)としてカウントし、その許可人数(n)が記憶される(ステップS2)。例えば、人物Aに対して室内3への入場が許可された場合は、許可人数(n)は1人とされる。

一方、人物識別手段19は、監視カメラ7に撮影された画像から監視領域6内の人物を識別する(ステップS3)。その結果、人物として識別された人数(m)を人数記憶手段20に記憶する(ステップS4)。例えば、図1に示された場合は、人物Aと人物Bが人物として識別され、人数(m)は2人とされる。

次に、比較手段21において、許可人数(n)と人数(m)を比較する(ステップS5)。その結果、許可人数(n)と人数(m)が一致しない時はステップS1に戻り、カードリーダ8から他の人物の個人情報が読込まれるのを待つことになる。例えば、人物Aに引続いて人物Bもカードリーダ8から個人情報を読込ませ、ステップS1で登録者情報記憶手段16に記憶された個人情報の中にあるとされた時は、許可人数(n)は2人とされる。このような動作を繰り返した結果、ステップS5において、許可人数(n)と人数(m)が一致した時は、施錠解錠指示手段22において、電気錠10を解錠する電気信号を発生させ、電気錠10を解錠する(ステップS6)。

なお、上記実施の形態では、監視カメラ7を単なる可視画像を撮る可視式のものとしたが、これを熱画像を撮る赤外線式の監視カメラとしても良い。これにより、監視領域6の照度を低下させられた状況においても熱を発散する人物を認識することができる。この時の判別手段17を構成するハードウェアは、例えば、特開平6−38217号公報に開示されているように、赤外線カメラによって監視領域を撮像した際のカメラ画像における背景領域と異なる温度を有する温度変化領域をカメラ画像より検出する手段を備え、この温度変化領域の情報に基づいて人物を認識するように構成しても良い。

また、上記実施の形態では、単に、カードリーダ8から読込まれた個人情報が登録者情報記憶手段16に記憶された個人情報の中にあるとされた時に、人数記憶手段18により許可人数(n)としてカウントするように構成したが、これを、許可人数としてすでにカウントされた個人情報と同じ個人情報がカードリーダ8から再度読込まれた時は、人数記憶手段18において許可人数(n)にもう一度カウントされないように構成しても良い。これにより、同一カードによって許可人数(n)を複数カウントしてしまうという誤動作を防ぐことができる。また、登録者情報記憶手段16に記憶されていない人物を故意に入場させるという機会を未然に防ぐことができる。
