Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a stool receiving sheet that can be temporarily floated in a puddle of a flush toilet or the like to collect a sample (feces) and then be allowed to flow with water as it is.
[0002]
Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention
In many cases, stool collection for medical examinations is performed with a stool collection sheet floating in a puddle in a flush toilet. Is required to have water resistance and a suitable water dispersibility after sampling.
[0003]
In order to respond to such a demand, a conventionally known defecation sheet has a method of applying a water-resistant treatment agent to water-soluble paper (for example, JP-A-10-68726). A method of laminating water-dispersible paper (for example, JP-A-10-227787), impregnating a base paper containing fibrous carboxyalkyl cellulose with an alkalizing agent and a sizing agent compatible with the alkalizing agent. A coating method (for example, JP-A-2001-289746) has been proposed.
[0004]
Each of these methods is considered to have a certain effect, but on the other hand, it is considered that any of these methods requires various types of secondary processing, and may cause problems in terms of cost.
[0005]
The invention of the present application is water-resistant until a stool is collected in a flush toilet without performing secondary processing such as lamination processing and coating processing, and water that does not cause clogging of pipes even when it is flushed. It is an object of the present invention to propose an inexpensive defecation receiving sheet having dispersibility.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention has been made in order to achieve the above-mentioned object, and in the production of a toilet sheet for collecting stool, by incorporating mercerized pulp and / or rayon in natural fibers such as wood pulp, paper Is characterized by having a density of 0.7 g / cm 3 or less and internally adding a sizing agent.
[0007]
In addition to the first feature, as a second feature, a sizing agent is internally added so that the degree of cobb size (JIS P 8140) is 10 to 30 g / 10 sec. (Indicator of No. 3) is 3 minutes or more, and water dispersibility such that the easiness of loosening (JIS P 4501 4.5) is 30 to 200 seconds.
[0008]
Here, a method of measuring the submersion time will be described. A towel (about 800 mm x about 300 mm, air-dry weight about 90 g) is folded twice in the longitudinal direction, rolled in the horizontal direction, immersed in water once, and then squeezed tightly to a weight of 200 g ± 5 g. It has a cylindrical shape with a diameter of about 45 mm and a length of about 160 mm. Float the stool sheet (257 mm x 364 mm) in water, lay the towel squeezed in the center of the stool sheet in the longitudinal direction, gently lay it down, and set the time for the half of the towel to sink below the surface of the water after placing the towel. Was measured and defined as a submersion time.
[0009]
Further, in the stool collection sheet provided with the first and second features, as a third feature, a sizing agent is internally added as an active ingredient in an amount of 0.01 to 1% per weight of the absolutely dried pulp, It can be made to have water resistance in which the water immersion time is 3 minutes or more, and water dispersibility in which the ease of loosening according to JIS P 4501 4.5 is 30 to 200 seconds.
[0010]
Examples of the natural fibers include the above-mentioned wood pulp (such as softwood bleached kraft pulp and hardwood bleached kraft pulp) and non-wood pulp (such as kenaf, hemp, bagasse, and cotton linter).
[0011]
The stool receiving sheet of the present invention has a required buoyancy and a certain level of water resistance (submersion time of 3 minutes) even when the density of the paper is 0.7 g / cm 3 or less by adding an appropriate amount of a sizing agent. Above) and water dispersibility (easiness of unraveling for 30 to 200 seconds) can be achieved.
[0012]
In carrying out the present invention, the freeness of the natural fiber can be adjusted as follows.
[0013]
That is, a papermaking raw material (natural fiber) is stirred and mixed with water by a pulper, and then passed between blades of a disk rotating in opposite directions (double disc refiner) to make the fiber fluff (fibrillation). To adjust. Further, the freeness may be adjusted by another method without being limited to this method. The higher the freeness is, the better the water dispersibility is, and preferably 500 cc or more.
[0014]
The mercerized pulp used in the present invention is as follows.
[0015]
That is, cellulose in pulp is treated with sodium hydroxide, and the -OH group at the 6-position of glucose in cellulose is changed to -ONa group to produce alkali cellulose (mercerization). By blending the mercerized pulp, the density can be kept low while ensuring the papermaking properties, and paper having moderate water resistance and water dispersibility can be made. Further, as long as it has the same bulkiness as the mercerized pulp, it can be used without being limited to the mercerized pulp. Rayon can provide bulkiness as well as mercerized pulp. However, care must be taken when using rayon because it is difficult to secure enough time to lift the stool.
[0016]
Examples of the sizing agent usable in the present invention include alkyl ketene dimer and rosin as active ingredients, but the ingredients are not limited as long as they have a size effect.
[0017]
【Example】
Next, examples of the present invention shown in Table 1 and comparative examples as comparison objects will be described.
[0018]
[Table 1]
[0019]
* 1) The submersion time was evaluated in the following three stages.
:: more than 180 seconds Δ: more than 120 seconds and less than 180 seconds ×: less than 120 seconds
* 2) The ease of loosening was evaluated on the following three levels.
:: 100 seconds or less Δ: More than 100 seconds and 200 seconds or less ×: More than 200 seconds
* 3) The overall evaluation was evaluated in four stages of ◎, ○, Δ, ×.
[0022]
Comparative Example 1
The paper was prepared without using a sizing agent, with a rice tsubo of 45 ± 2 g / m 2 and a blending ratio of mercerized pulp of 25%. Due to lack of size, the water absorption is high, the time during which the stool can be floated is short, and there are cases where stool cannot be collected well.
[0020]
Examples 1-3
As in Comparative Example 1, the rice tsubo was blended at 45 ± 2 g / m 2 , the mercerized pulp was blended at 25% by weight, and the amount of the sizing agent added was varied. The addition of 0.1% of the sizing agent of Example 2 (AS-263 active ingredient concentration 20%, manufactured by Japan PMC Co., Ltd.) as an active ingredient per bone dry pulp weight is suitable for both water resistance and dispersibility. Good results. When the amount of the sizing agent was too small, the time for floating the feces was shortened. On the other hand, when the amount was too large, it was difficult to disperse, and there was a risk of clogging of the pipe at the time of drainage. The addition amount of the sizing agent is preferably 0.01 to 1%, more preferably 0.05 to 0.2%, as an active ingredient per weight of the absolutely dried pulp.
[0021]
Comparative Example 2
Mercerized pulp is more expensive than natural fibers, and to reduce cost, the mercerized pulp content was 10%, and the sizing agent was added as an active ingredient at 0.02% per weight of absolutely dry pulp. If the blending ratio of the mercerized pulp is excessively reduced, the dispersibility deteriorates, and the clogging of the pipe tends to occur.
[0022]
Example 4
The blending ratio of the mercerized pulp was set to 50%, the buoyancy was increased by lowering the density, and the dispersibility was improved while maintaining the time during which stool could float. Both water resistance and dispersibility were able to have suitable performance. However, as the blending ratio of the mercerized pulp increases, the cost increases. The mercerized pulp compounding ratio is suitably from 5 to 80% by weight, and more preferably from 15 to 50% by weight. The density is suitably 0.7 g / cm 2 or less.
[0023]
【The invention's effect】
The feces collection sheet of the present invention has a paper density of 0.7 g / cm 3 or less and a sizing agent formed by wet papermaking by adding mercerized pulp to natural fibers such as wood pulp. By adding, the buoyancy and water resistance required for sample (feces) collection and the water dispersibility after sample collection can be achieved at the same time. Manufactured from similar products that have been subjected to conventional secondary processing There is an effect that a low-cost and inexpensive product can be provided.
