Abstract
【解決手段】多電極カテーテル(22)は、長手方向に延びた本体(24)から構成され、本体は内部に複数の長手方向に延びた管腔(30a−e)と複数の電極アセンブリとを有する。各アセンブリは、本体の後部セクション(26)の外部表面にある電極と、接続された電気伝導表面(32a,b)とからなる。その伝導表面は、本体(24)の頭部セクション(28)まで、管腔(30a−e)の数の関連する管腔(30a;30b)内を延びている。電気伝導表面(32a,b)は、関連する管腔(30a;30b)の内壁(34a;34b)の少なくとも1部分を形成し、電気伝導表面(32a,b)は、複数の電極アセンブリを形成している電極(36;38;44、48)の異なった1つと電気的に接続されて供給される。
【効果】簡易な構成で多電極カテーテルを作製できる。

Claims (1)
- 長手方向に延びた本体(24)を有する多電極カテーテル(22)であって、
該本体(24)の内部には長手方向に延びた複数の管腔(30a〜e)と複数の電極アセンブリとが形成されており、
各電極アセンブリは、本体(24)の頭部セクション(26)の外部表面(40)に位置する電極(36;38;44、48)と、複数の管腔(30a〜e)のうち関連する管腔(30a;30b)内で本体(24)の後部セクション(28)まで長手方向に延びて接続された導電性表面(32a;32b)とを有する形式の多電極カテーテルにおいて、
前記導電性表面(32a;32b)は、関連する管腔(30a;30b)の内壁(34a;34b)の少なくとも一部分を形成し、
かつ複数の電極アセンブリを形成するように、電極(36;38;44、48)のうちそれぞれ異なる1つの電極と電気的に接触して設けられていることを特徴と多電極カテーテル。
