Abstract

Claims (10)
- MRイメージングシステム(10)と共に用いるための可変撮影領域勾配コイル組立体(180)における勾配コイルを構成する方法(200)であって、
有効勾配コイルの第1の撮影領域に対応する第1の電流密度を求め、
関連する電流の符号を変えることなく、前記第1の電流密度から電流を減少させることにより、第2の撮影領域に対応する第2の電流密度を計算し、
主勾配コイル(182)の幾何学的形状を求めて前記第2の撮影領域を与え、
補正コイル(184)の幾何学的形状を確定する、
ことを含む方法。 - 前記主勾配コイル(182)の戻り導線と前記補正コイル(184)とが、確実に実質的に重なるようにすることを更に含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第1の撮影領域が前記第2の撮影領域より大きい請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記確定することが、前記有効勾配コイルと前記主勾配コイル(182)との間の差を含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記有効勾配コイルが前記主勾配コイル(182)と前記補正コイル(184)との組み合わせを含む請求項1に記載の方法。
- MRイメージングシステム(10)と共に用いるための可変FOV(撮影領域)を有する勾配コイル組立体(180)であって、
イメージング軸の周りに配設されて勾配磁場を生成する主勾配コイル(182)と、
イメージング軸の周りに配設され、戻り部分が前記主勾配コイル(182)の戻り部分と実質的に重なる状態で位置させられた補正コイル(184)と、
を備え、
前記主勾配コイル(182)及び前記補正コイル(184)が第1の撮影領域を与えるように協働し、
前記主勾配コイル(182)が第2の撮影領域を与えるように作動することを特徴とする勾配コイル組立体。 - 前記第1の撮影領域が、前記第2の撮影領域より大きい請求項6に記載の勾配コイル組立体(180)。
- 前記主勾配コイル(182)及び前記補正コイル(184)が協働して第3の撮影領域を与えるようになった請求項6に記載の勾配コイル組立体(180)。
- 前記第3の撮影領域が前記第1の撮影領域より大きい請求項6に記載の勾配コイル組立体(180)。
- 前記第1の撮影領域に対応し、前記主勾配コイル(182)及び前記補正コイル(184)に関連した第1電流密度と、前記第2の撮影領域に対応し、前記主勾配コイル(182)に関連した第2の電流密度とを更に含む請求項6に記載の勾配コイル組立体(180)。
