Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing water-permeable and air-permeable material using glass as binding material and coating material, solving the problem that conventional auxiliary material or substitutional material for soil is weak, expensive, hard to make desired forms, and also causing the destruction of the natural environment and/or generation of large amount of industrial waste or architectural/civil engineering waste when mining the material.
SOLUTION: The method comprises crushing architectural/civil engineering wastes such as ferrite-containing ceramics, concrete or tiles produced via a ceramic industry technique into appropriate sized pieces, and coating the pieces with waste glass powder or using the pieces to form a water-permeable and air-permeable solid. By this method, using industrial waste or architectural/civil engineering waste makes it possible to inexpensively produce auxiliary material or substitution material for soil endurable for long-term use.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The invention belongs to the fields of agriculture, horticulture, greening, and architecture, civil engineering.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, soil aids for the purpose of water retention and water permeability in agriculture, horticulture, greening, etc., natural soil, stones (pumice, Akadama clay, etc.) as artificial substitutes, artificial bricks, foam glass, Foamed dough and the like are used. However, these are less effective over many years of use because of their fragility, and are also more expensive.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The long-term use of natural stones and soils as auxiliary materials used for water retention and permeation purposes, substitutes for natural stones, and soils, reduces their effectiveness. It is also difficult to make the shape and size arbitrary. These materials are finite in quantity, and in the production area, excavation leads to the collapse of nature. The same applies to artificially produced foam bricks and the like, and the price is expensive. In order to solve these problems, an arbitrary shape is produced at low cost from a material that can withstand long-term use by using waste.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the present invention, ferrite-containing ceramics have been determined to be defective in the production process, or have finished their role, and have been discarded to a desired size. to make. It is characterized in that the amount of water permeation and the amount of ventilation according to the amount of glass powder are increased to produce a solid having an arbitrary coating, shape and size. The solids obtained by this method are buried in soil for agriculture and horticulture to control drainage, and to be placed on the surface to increase water retention and prevent landslides. In addition, application as a decorative accessory for horticulture such as artificial wood and civil engineering is also conceivable.
[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Pulverize ferrite or other ceramic defects to an appropriate size, weigh the produced particles, pieces and glass powder in appropriate amounts, add water to them, stir and mix them, and then shape Filling into a sized baking case, or forming a shape on a baking plate, and sintering as it is, it is solidified to its original size without shrinking or expanding. The appearance is shown in FIG. (A), (b), and (c) in FIG. 1 show typical shapes of solids.
[0006]
【The invention's effect】
In recent years, efforts have been made to prevent the desertification of the earth, while calling for effective use of waste. This patent seeks to combine these two issues at low cost. In other words, it is trying to play a part in greening the earth at low cost by using waste (waste glass) as a waste originally.
