Description

【0001】

The cover 10 can be attached to the housing 2 by snap-engaging a locking hole (not shown) formed in the side plate 10e with the locking portion 2h of the side wall 2g.
[0034]
The card connector device 1 of the present invention having such a configuration is attached to a device (not shown) such as a personal computer (hereinafter, referred to as a PC) and the end of an FPC (flexible printed circuit board) 11 on the device side. , Can be inserted into the insertion port 5a of the terminal member 4 from the FPC insertion portion 2b.
As shown in FIGS. 1 and 8, the FPC 11 has a film-shaped base material 11a having a predetermined thickness, and the base material 11a is provided on one surface (upper surface in the drawing) at one end of the base material 11a. A deformation preventing member 11b is provided to prevent deformation on one end side of the substrate, and a plurality of conductor patterns 11c connected to a plurality of circuit patterns (not shown) are formed on the other surface.
[0035]
A method of mounting the FPC 11 on the card connector device 1 according to the present invention will be described. First, when the lock member 7 before mounting the FPC 11 is moved in the direction of arrow B as shown in FIG. The portion 7b comes out of the insertion port 5a of the terminal member 4, and the first locking portion 7h indicated by a two-dot chain line in FIG.
When the lock member 7 in this state is moved in the direction of arrow A, as shown in FIG. 9, the lock member supporting portion 5c is fitted into the fitting groove 7a, and the FPC press-contact portion 7b connects the conductor pattern 11c of the FPC 11. The FPC contact portion 5b is pressed against the retaining portion 5d. As a result, the conductive pattern 11c of the FPC 11 is electrically connected to the terminal member 4, and the FPC 11 is prevented from falling out of the insertion port 5a.
[0036]
At this time, the jig contact portion 4e of the terminal member 4 is exposed from the opening 7d of the lock member 7 as shown in FIG. 9, so that the jig contact portion 4e is contacted from above with a conductive check jig (not shown). ) Can be contacted to inspect the conduction check between the card member and the terminal member 4 or the waveform check.
Also, since the jig contact portion 4e exposed from the opening 7d is located on the terminal receiving surface 7e of the lock member 7, the contact pressure of the conductive check jig that the jig contact portion 4e contacts increases and increases. Even if the contact pressure is received by the terminal receiving surface, the deformation of the terminal member 4 can be prevented.
[0037]
In the card connector device 1 of the present invention, the lock member 7 is slid in the direction of arrow A in a state where the FPC 11 is not inserted into the insertion port 5a, so that the jig contact portion 4e is opened from the opening 7d of the lock member 7. Can be exposed.
For this reason, the card connector device 1 of the present invention allows the conduction check jig to come into contact with the jig contact portion 4e without attaching the FPC 11 on the device side such as a PC, so that the card member and the terminal member 4 can be connected. Inspection of continuity check or waveform check can be performed.
[0038]
Further, in the embodiment of the present invention, the lock member 7 is used to prevent the FPC 11 from coming off, and the lock member 7 is formed with the opening 7d through which the jig contact portion 4e is exposed. In a card connector device (not shown) that prevents the FPC 11 from coming off without using it, an opening is formed in the rear end side of the housing 2 so that the jig contact portion 4e is exposed from this opening. It may be done.
Alternatively, the jig contact 4e extended from the base 4d without exposing the opening may be exposed from the rear end side of the housing.
That is, the jig contact portions 4e of the plurality of terminal members 4 only need to be exposed from a part of the housing.
[0039]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, in the card connector device of the present invention, since the jig contact portion formed on the terminal member is exposed from a part of the housing, the conductive check jig can be reliably brought into contact with the exposed portion. And high-precision inspection can be performed.
[0040]
In addition, the terminal member is extended in a flat shape toward the rear end of the housing to form a jig contact portion, and the jig for conducting check is brought into contact with the jig contact portion, so that the terminal member is more reliably. The conductive check jig can be brought into contact with the jig contact portion.
[0041]
Also, since the jig contact portion is exposed from the vicinity of the rear end of the housing in a direction parallel to the upper surface of the housing, the jig for conducting check can be located above the jig contact portion for inspection, and the work can be performed. Good inspection can be performed.
[0042]
Also, since the jig contact portion is formed at a position away from the card contact portion and the FPC contact portion, even if the conductive check jig is brought into contact with the jig contact portion, the card contact portion and the FPC contact portion are formed. It is possible to provide a high-performance card connector device in which the portion is not deformed and the contact between the card member and the FPC does not become unstable.
[0043]
In addition, since the lock member has an opening for exposing each jig contact portion, even if the lock member is provided, the jig contact portion is exposed from the opening formed in the lock member so that the conduction check is performed. The jig can be brought into contact, and the inspection work efficiency is high.
[0044]
In addition, since the lock member has a terminal receiving surface for preventing deformation of the jig contact portion located at the opening, the conductive check jig is brought into contact with the jig contact portion exposed from the opening. Also, the contact pressure can be received by the terminal receiving surface, and deformation of the terminal member can be prevented even if the contact pressure of the conductive check jig is large.
