Description

【0001】
また、フレーム2の材質は、半田付け時の耐熱性が要求されるので、PBT(ポリブチレンテレフタレート),PET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート),46PA(ナイロン),66PA(ナイロン),PPS(ポリフェニレンサルファイド),LCP(液晶ポリマー)などの電気絶縁性のプラスチックが挙げられるが,コストや成形性を考慮するとPBTが好ましい。
【0008】

[0005]
DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION
FIG. 1 shows an embodiment of an IC card connector according to the present invention, which is constructed by mounting a grounding plate spring member 11 on the pin connector 1 shown in FIGS. 4 and 5 from above. It has been done.
This grounding plate-like spring member 11 is provided with a grounding pin contact 4a, 4b of the pin contact 4 provided with a press-fit groove 12 that sandwiches the pin contact 4a, 4b from above, and is bent in the thickness direction. Spring pieces 13a and 13b, a plurality of contact spring pieces 15 whose front end portions are bent and formed so as to face the IC card insertion side space portion 14 of the pin connector 1, and printed wiring of the pin connector 1 A fixing tongue piece 17 having a locking hole 16 coinciding with the mounting hole 9 for fixing to the substrate is provided.
[0006]
The grounding plate spring member 11 is mounted on the pin connector 1 by temporarily pressing the grounding spring pieces 13a and 13b into the pin contacts 4a and 4b and sandwiching the pin springs 11a and 13b. When fixing to the mounting hole 9, the locking hole 16 is overlapped with the mounting hole 9 and fixed together. FIG. 2 shows a cross-sectional view of a state in which the grounding plate spring member 11 is attached to the pin connector 1 and the IC card 7 is inserted into the pin connector 1. That is, in this state, the contact spring piece 15 of the ground plate spring member 11 contacts the upper metal plate of the IC card 7, and the ground spring pieces 13a and 13b contact the pin contacts 4a and 4b which are ground terminals. As a result, the metal plate of the IC card 7 is grounded, and external noise is prevented from being picked up and the generation of static electricity is suppressed, so that the IC card 7 can be prevented from being damaged.
[0007]
In this embodiment, the contact spring piece 15 of the grounding plate spring member 11 is formed in a comb-like shape separated into a plurality, but it may be formed in an integral shape without being separated. The material of the grounding plate spring member 11 is suitably a conductor plate having a spring property such as a phosphor bronze plate or a beryllium copper plate.
Further, since the material of the frame 2 is required to have heat resistance during soldering, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), PET (polyethylene terephthalate), 46PA (nylon), 66PA (nylon), PPS (polyphenylene sulfide), LCP Examples include electrically insulating plastics such as (liquid crystal polymer), but PBT is preferable in consideration of cost and moldability.
[0008]
The pin contact 4 is generally composed of three parts: a contact part that comes into contact with the IC card 7, a fixed part that is fixed to the central coupling part 3 of the frame 2, and a tail part that is connected to the printed wiring board. The frame 2 is held and fixed by press fitting or the like. Examples of this material include phosphor bronze, beryllium copper, brass, etc., which are highly conductive, but brass is preferred in consideration of workability and conductivity. As the shape of the tail portion of the pin contact, an L-shaped dip type is shown in this embodiment, but a surface mount type or a straight dip type may be used. In this embodiment, the pin contacts are arranged in two upper and lower stages, but they may be provided in one row.
The size of the pin connector that is the subject of the present invention is about 57 mm in length, about 35 mm in width, and about 7 mm in thickness. Since the width dimension changes depending on the number of cores and the pitch, it is designed appropriately according to these requirements. In this embodiment, the number of cores and the pitch are 68 cores and 1.27 mm pitch.
[0009]
【Example】
FIG. 3 shows another embodiment of the present invention. In the pin connector 21, the mounting hole portion of the locking portion 61 is formed as a notch portion 23 provided with a step portion 22, and the pin connector 21 is attached to the pin connector 21. The left and right fixing tongues 25 of the grounding plate spring member 24 are formed at the tip of the crank-shaped bent portion 26. Accordingly, since the inner surface portion 27 of the crank-shaped bent portion 26 is engaged with the inner standing portion 28 of the notch portion 23 of the pin connector 21, the left and right crank-shaped bent portions 26 are slightly bent inward. Accordingly, the provisional fixing can be more reliably performed by the clamping force between the grounding spring pieces 13a and 13b and the pin contacts 4a and 4b and the locking force by this portion.
[0010]
【The invention's effect】
As described above in detail, when the IC card is connected to the electronic circuit formed on the printed wiring board via the pin connector, the metal plate on the upper surface of the IC card is grounded through the grounding plate spring member. Therefore, it is possible to prevent the occurrence of errors due to noise generated during high-speed transmission of information or data. In addition, it is possible to prevent the IC and memory in the IC card from being destroyed by static electricity generated when the IC card is mounted on the pin connector.
