【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、廃油,プラスチックや古タイヤ等の廃有機物を燃焼処理する廃有機物燃焼処理装置に係り、特に高温下で完全燃焼できる廃有機物燃焼処理装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、この種の燃焼処理装置として、例えば、特許文献1(特開2001−56112号公報)に掲載され、廃有機物としての廃油を燃焼処理するものが知られている。

この従来の廃有機物燃焼処理装置を図2に基づいて説明する。図2中符号201は、燃焼装置本体で、その下部中央に燃焼室202が設けられている。燃焼室202は、上端が開放された有底筒状に形成され、開放端から若干下がった周壁面に多数の空気流入孔203が穿設されている。空気流入孔203は小孔で、周壁204の周方向と高さ方向に約5mm程度の間隔をおいて千鳥状に多数設けられる。燃焼室202の底壁205は、周縁に周壁204に連なる斜面部251を有する。底壁205の中心部には、軸部材217の上端部を遊挿する軸孔206が設けられている。軸孔と軸部材の外周との間には、微小間隙207が形成される。

燃焼室周壁204の外側は、空気導入室208によって囲まれている。空気導入室208は、一方で一次空気供給路209の下流開口端(吹出し口)と、他方で燃焼室周壁204の空気流入孔203とのみ連通する閉鎖型の環状空間である。上流開口端をブロワ210等の空気供給源側に連通された一次空気供給路209の下流開口端は、空気導入室208の下部に接線方向から空気を噴射する位置に設けられる。

211は燃焼室202の上方に設けられた副次的燃焼空間で、フード212によって覆われている。このフード212は、下端部を、燃焼装置本体201の下部外壁201aに形成されたフランジ部にヒンジを介して取り外し自在に取付けられている。フランジ部近傍の副次的燃焼空間211には、二次燃焼用空気を吐出するノズル213が設けられている。燃焼装置本体201の下部外壁201aの内側には、二次空気供給路214からノズル213へと供給される空気の通過する環状流路215が設けられている。二次空気供給路214の下流開口端は、環状流路215に対して接線方向に空気を送り込む位置にある。副次的燃焼空間211の一部は、空気導入室208と環状流路215の間に垂下し、暖気滞留空間216を成す。

217は燃焼室202の底壁205を貫通して下方に垂直に延びる軸部材である。軸部材217は、基台218と燃焼室底壁205との間に起立した支持筒219の内部を通り、基台内に位置する下端部にスプロケット220が取付けられている。スプロケット220は、チェーン221を介してモータ222の駆動軸と連結されている。支持筒内には、軸部材217を軸支する軸受部材223が装着されている。また、軸受部材223の上方には軸部材外周との間に空洞部224が設けられている。空洞部224は、一方で燃焼室底壁軸孔206の微小間隙207と、他方で廃油供給路225と連通する。

226は基台218の一側部に設置した廃油貯溜槽で、貯溜された廃油は廃油供給路225を介して上記した支持筒219の空洞部224に給送される。空洞部224に給送された廃油は、燃焼室底壁205の軸孔206に設けられる微小間隙207を通って燃焼室内に湧出される。廃油貯溜槽226には、フロートから成る油面調整装置が設けられている。

燃焼室内に入り込んだ軸部材217の先端には、略L字状を成すアーム228が固定されている。アーム228は、下辺部228aが斜面部251を含む燃焼室底壁内面に添う形状に形成されている。下辺部228aは、軸部材217とともに回転し、燃焼室底壁205の微小間隙207から湧出した廃油を底壁内面に引き伸ばし、気化し易くする。アーム228の下辺部228aから一体的に連設された起立辺部228bは、燃焼室周壁内面に添って延び、周壁に形成された空気流入孔203の内側開口端と摺接して、周壁内面や空気流入孔203の内側開口端に付着した燃焼微粒子を掻き落とす。

尚、図中符号229は、副次的燃焼空間211と連通する排気ダクト、230は、フード212の上部側面に取付けた開閉自在なダンパで、副次的燃焼空間211の上部と排気ダクト229との連通路231を開閉することにより、外気温その他の外部環境等に応じて廃有機物の燃焼を制御する。また、軸部材、筒状部材および軸受部材には、図示しないシール、パッキン等の油密部材が設けられ、空洞部から外部へ廃油が漏れるのを阻止する。

本例では、モータ222でチェーン221を介して軸部材217を回転駆動させ、アーム228を燃焼室202内で回転させる。廃油貯溜槽226からは廃油供給路225を介して空洞部224に廃油が給送される。空洞部224に入った廃油は、廃油に作用する圧力によって微少間隙207を通過して燃焼室底壁の中央部に湧出される。湧出される廃油は、軸部材217の回転力を受けて燃焼室底壁205に広がるように押し出される。これに併せて底壁内面ではアーム228が回転しているので、その下辺部228aによって廃油が薄く均され、廃油の気化が円滑に促進される。気化された廃油は、一次空気と相まって燃焼されることになる。

湧出される廃油の油面は、廃油貯溜槽226の油面と連通管の原理によって常に同一レベルとなる。アーム228の起立辺部228bは、燃焼室202の周壁内面を擦動し、内周面あるいは空気流入孔内縁に付着した燃焼微粒子を底壁に掃い落とす。

一方、燃焼に使用される一次、二次の空気は、ブロワ210から各空気供給路209,214を通じて導入室と環状流路とにそれぞれ供給される。一次空気供給路209の吹出し口から空気導入室208の下部に入った一次空気は、空気導入室内を環状に、かつ、上方に流れる旋回流となる。小径流入孔203の存在する領域に達した一次空気は、流入孔203のある燃焼室202の周壁204の周りに均一に存在する。このため、いずれの流入孔203からも略等しい空気量が、等しい流速で燃焼室内の燃焼火炎へ巻き込まれるように流れ込む。空気導入室208は吹出し口と流入孔以外、閉鎖されているので、燃焼室外周を均等に流れる一次空気は、燃焼時に圧力の低下した燃焼室内に強制吸引される。しかも、流入孔203が小径であるために、一次空気はここを通過する間に流速が速められ、燃焼室202の中心に向けて急速に流れ込む。燃焼室内に流れ込んだ一次空気は、廃油の気化したガスと良好に混合撹拌されて高温で燃焼される。燃焼室202で発生する火炎は、いずれの側に偏ることもなく燃焼室202の略中心に渦巻き状に形成される。

空気流入孔203はアーム228の起立辺部228bによって常にクリーニングされ、目詰まりが未然に防止されているので、一次空気の供給量を低下させることはない。二次空気は、環状流路215を流れた後、各ノズル213から略等しい量が燃焼室上方の副次的燃焼空間211に吹出され、同空間内でガス燃焼による二次燃焼を行わせる。完全燃焼された排気は、ダクト229より放出される。このようにして本装置によれば、廃有機物を高温度の状態で燃焼させる。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら、上述した従来の廃有機物燃焼処理装置は、燃料としては廃油だけを使用し、これを空気中の酸素で燃焼させているだけであるから、燃焼温度がそれほど高くならず廃油を完全燃焼させその排気を無害化することが難しいという問題がある。

また、廃有機物燃焼処理装置自体も鋼鉄やステンレス鋼で形成されることが一般的であるため、廃油を完全燃焼できるような高温下においては耐久性に劣るという問題がある。

本発明は、このような実情に鑑みなされたものであって、高温耐久性を備え、廃有機物を高温で燃焼させ、有害排気を排出しないで処理することができる廃有機物燃焼処理装置を提供しようとするものである。

【課題を解決するための手段】
そこで本発明は廃有機物燃焼処理装置を以下の構成とした。即ち、本発明に係る廃有機物燃焼処理装置は、内部に燃焼室を備え回転駆動される燃焼筒を具備し、前記燃焼筒の下部には燃焼室に連通し液状にした廃有機物および酸素を含む燃焼補助ガスを導入する下部開口が設けられ、前記燃焼筒の上部には前記燃焼室に連通し排気を排出する上部開口が設けられ、前記燃焼筒は外筒と内筒とから構成され、前記燃焼筒の内筒を、前記燃焼筒の遠心力で外筒側に押しつけられ燃焼室の内壁を形成する耐熱流体で構成した。

この本発明に係る廃有機物燃焼処理装置によれば、回転駆動される燃焼筒内に液状の廃有機物を酸素を含む燃焼補助ガスと共に導入して燃焼させるが、燃焼筒の内筒は耐熱性に富む流体素材で形成されているので、廃有機物を清浄に燃焼処理するのに必要な高温に十分に耐える。そのため、燃焼温度が高いものとなり、廃有機物は完全燃焼され、廃有機物燃焼処理装置からの排気ガスは清浄なものとなる。

また、本発明では、前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の燃焼筒は耐熱性金属で形成された構成とすることが好ましい。本発明によれば、燃焼筒及び内筒は耐熱性に富む素材で形成されているので、廃有機物燃焼処理装置は廃有機物を清浄に燃焼処理するのに必要な高温に十分に耐える。

さらに、本発明では、前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の燃焼筒の外筒をタングステンで形成することができる。本発明によれば、融点が高い(3407℃)タングステンで燃焼筒の外筒を形成しているので耐熱性に優れた燃焼筒を形成することができる。

また、本発明では、前記燃焼筒の内筒を形成する耐熱流体は、燃焼室における廃有機物の燃焼により溶解し、遠心力で外筒側に押しつけられるセラミックスで構成することができる。本発明によれば、セラミックスが溶解することにより、燃焼による高熱は外筒に伝えられにくくなり、さらに燃焼筒の耐熱性が向上する。

さらに、本発明では、前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の燃焼筒には前記開口に連通する排気筒が立設され、この排気筒を回転駆動することにより燃焼筒を回転させることができる。本発明によれば、比較的高温とならない排気筒部分で燃焼筒を回転駆動させることができ、回転駆動系の耐熱対策が容易なものとなる。

さらにまた、本発明では前記燃焼筒の外側には、前記燃焼筒の発生熱で燃焼処理すべき液状の廃有機物を加熱する廃有機物加熱手段を備えた。本発明によれば、廃有機物は加熱された状態で燃焼筒に導入されるから、燃焼効率が向上する。また廃有機物を加熱するための他の熱源を必要としない。

また、本発明では、前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の廃有機物加熱手段は前記燃焼筒の外側に配置された螺旋状パイプとすることができる。本発明によれば、燃焼筒の外側に配置された螺旋状パイプ中を流れる廃有機物が燃焼筒の発生する熱により効率よく加熱される。

さらに、本発明では、前記燃焼筒の外側には、前記燃焼筒の発生熱で、前記燃焼補助ガスを加熱するガス加熱手段を備えることができる。本発明によれば、燃焼補助ガスが加熱された状態で燃焼筒に導入されるから、燃焼効率が向上する。また燃焼補助ガスを加熱するための他の熱源を必要としない。

また、本発明では、廃有機物燃焼処理装置は水を電気分解して酸素ガス及び水素ガスを発生し、前記燃焼補助ガスとして供給する酸素−水素発生装置を備えることができる。本発明によれば、燃焼室で水素ガスも燃焼することになるので、より高温で廃有機物を燃焼させることができ、廃有機物はより確実に完全燃焼され、廃有機物燃焼処理装置からの排気ガスは清浄なものとなる。また、酸素ガス及び水素ガスを廃有機物燃焼処理装置に気体として供給貯蔵する必要がなく、メンテナンスが容易となる。

さらに、本発明では、前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の燃焼筒の周囲には冷却水ジャケットが設けられ、酸素−水素発生装置には冷却水ジャケットからの水を供給することができる。本発明によれば、燃焼筒冷却水ジャケットにより過剰に昇温することがないよう冷却され、また、酸素−水素発生装置ではこの冷却水が電気分解されて酸素ガス及び水素ガスが発生されるため、装置の水使用量を低減させることができる。

さらにまた、本発明では、前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の酸素−水素発生装置は供給される酸素の圧力に応じて調整されることができる。本発明によれば、酸素−水素発生装置の酸素ガス及び水素ガスの発生量を自動的に調整することができる。

また、本発明では、前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の排気筒には排気ガスにより電力を発生すると共に排気を冷却する発電機を備えることができる。本発明によれば、廃有機物燃焼により発生する熱エネルギーを発電機で電気エネルギーに変換し、廃熱の有効利用を図ることができると共に、排気ガスの温度を低下させることができ、環境中に熱エネルギーの排出を防止することができる。

さらに、本発明では前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の排気筒には冷気導入口が形成され前記発電機から排出される冷却された排気が導入できるブロアを備えることができる。本発明によれば、燃焼筒の上部開口から排出される高温の排気ガスに排気筒の冷気導入口からブロアによって冷却された排気が混入され、排気筒から排出される排気を冷却することができる。

【発明の実施の形態】
以下、本発明の実施の形態に係る廃有機物燃焼処理装置を添付図面に基づいて説明する。図1は本発明に係る廃有機物燃焼処理装置を実施する形態の一例を示す側面図である。実施の形態では、廃有機物として廃油を処理する。

本例に係る廃有機物燃焼処理装置10は、図1に示すように、設置基盤1上に配置されるステンレス鋼板製ケーシング11の内部に回転駆動され、燃焼室31を備えた燃焼筒30を配置して構成されている。また、ケーシング11上部には、廃油2が加圧されて蓄留されている廃油タンク12が設けられこの廃油タンク12からの廃油が燃焼筒30の燃焼室31内で燃焼処理される。この廃油タンク12には外部に配置され廃油2が蓄留されたドラム缶13等から逆止弁14、ポンプ15を介して廃油2が蓄留される。また、ケーシング11には、冷却水を通過させる冷却水ジャケット16が形成され、この冷却水ジャケット16には流入口17から水道水が供給される。また、ケーシング11の下部には水を電気分解して酸素ガス及び水素ガスを発生し、燃焼補助ガスとして供給する酸素−水素発生装置90が配置されている。尚、図中符号18aは廃油タンクのガス抜口、18bは冷却水ジャケットのガス抜口、19はドレン弁を示している。

この燃焼筒30は外筒40及びこの外筒40内に配置される内筒50とから構成されている。外筒40はタングステン(融点3407℃)で上下に壁部41,42を形成した筒状に形成されており、その外周壁部40a及び上下壁部41,42に凹凸を形成して表面積を大きいものとし、放熱効率の向上を図っている。

内筒50はセラミックス、例えばサクランダム(融点2432℃)で形成されており、この内筒50の内部には燃焼室31が形成される。そして、外筒40の下壁部42には、周囲に立壁部45を備えると共に燃焼室31に連通し、廃油、水素及び酸素空気混合ガスを燃焼室に導入する下部開口43が設けられている他、上壁部41には前記燃焼室31に連通し燃焼室31で燃焼された廃油の排気ガスを排出する上部開口44が設けられている。尚、下部開口43には廃油噴出ノズル46、水素ガス噴出ノズル47、酸素空気混合ガス噴出ノズル48及び点火用プラグ49が配置されている。

ここで、燃焼筒30の内筒を形成するセラミックスは燃焼室における廃油の燃焼環境(例えば7000℃以上、10kg/cm2以上)により溶解して、遠心力で外筒側に押しつけられ燃焼室を形成する。図中符号51に溶解部、図中52に硬化部を示した。セラミックスが溶解することにより、燃焼による高温は遮断され外筒40に伝えられにくくなり、燃焼筒30の耐熱性が向上する。尚、このセラミックスは、廃有機物燃焼処理装置の運転前に前記ケーシングの上部に設けられたセラミック粒子投入口20から粒子として投入され廃有機物燃焼処理装置10の運転中に溶解して内筒を形成する。

さらに、本例では前記燃焼筒30には前記上部開口44に連通する円筒形の排気筒60が立設されており、この排気筒60の下部には、冷気導入口61が開設されている。また排気筒60の上部は1つのスラストローラベアリング62と2つのボールベアリング63,64で前記ケーシング11に取付けられている。このため、燃焼筒30はケーシング11に対して回動可能に支持されている。そして、この排気筒60の上部には平歯車65が取付けられており、この平歯車65はケーシング11に固定された電動機66の駆動歯車67に噛合して電動機66の回転駆動力を伝達する。この電動機66、駆動歯車67及び平歯車65による燃焼筒30の回転数は内筒50を形成する溶融したセラミックスが遠心力で外壁に押しつけられ落下しない程度以上とする。

さらにまた、本発明ではケーシング11内であって前記燃焼筒30の外側には、前記燃焼筒30の発生熱で前記廃油タンク12から下部開口までギアポンプ21で圧送される廃油を加熱する廃油加熱手段としての廃油用螺旋状パイプ70を備えている。これにより廃油が燃焼筒30の発生する熱により加熱され、燃焼室内で効率よく燃焼される。尚、図中符号22は流量調整ストップ弁、23は逆止弁を示している。

また、本例では、酸素−水素発生装置90は廃有機物燃焼処理装置10のケーシング11の下部に、燃焼筒30と隔壁24を隔てて設けられている。この酸素−水素発生装置90は、電源装置100から正負の直流電圧が印加される正負の電極91、92を備え、上記冷却水ジャケット16を経て供給される水道水を電気分解して正極91からは酸素ガスを、負極92からは水素ガスを発生する。尚図中符号93は酸素−水素発生装置90の酸素発生部94と水素発生部95を水面上で隔離する隔壁、96は水素ガス噴出用のコンプレッサ、97はストップ弁、98はドレン弁、99は酸素−水素発生装置90内の水面を一定に保つ一対のフロート、111は水素ガス噴出用のコンプレッサ96と水素ガス噴出ノズル47との間に設けられる圧力安定用タンクを示している。

さらに、本例では、ケーシング11の内部であって燃焼筒30の外部には、燃焼筒30の発生熱で酸素−水素発生装置90で発生した酸素ガスに空気を混合し酸素空気混合ガスを加熱する酸素加熱手段としての酸素用螺旋状パイプ80を備えている。図中81は、クリーナ82から吸入した空気を圧縮して前記酸素用螺旋状パイプ80に接続された圧力安定用タンク112に送出するコンプレッサ、83はストップ弁を示している。また、図中113は、酸素−水素発生装置90で発生した酸素ガスを圧縮して前記酸素用螺旋状パイプ80に接続された圧力安定用タンク112に送出するコンプレッサ、84はストップ弁を示している。

さらにまた、本例では、酸素−水素発生装置90は、4つの整流用ダイオード101と可変抵抗器102で構成され、可変抵抗器102の抵抗値を制御することによりその酸素ガス及び水素ガスの発生量が制御される。この制御は圧力計103で検出供給される酸素の圧力に応じて調整することができる。

また、本例では、廃有機物燃焼処理装置のケーシング11には排気筒60からの排気ガスが導かれ、排気ガスのエネルギーにより電力を発生すると共に排気を冷却する発電機25を備えることができる。本例では、発電機として本発明者が提案している「対流温度差原動装置(竜巻発電機)」(特開2002−256882号公報参照)を使用している。

また、本例では前記廃有機物燃焼処理装置の排気筒60が燃焼筒30に取付けられる排気筒基部には冷気導入口61が形成されると共に、前記発電機25から排出される冷却された排気をケーシング11内に送出するブロア26を備えている。これにより、燃焼筒30の上部開口から排出される高温の排気ガスに排気筒の冷気導入口61から冷却された排気(無酸素)が導入され、排気筒60から排出される排気を冷却することができる。またブロア26の冷却された排気により、電動機66を冷却することができる。

さらに、本例では、発電機25への排気導入路にはストップ弁27を介して前記発電機から排出される冷却された排気が導入できる冷気導入口28を形成している。これにより発電機25に導入される排気筒からの排気を必要に応じて冷却することができる。

次に、本例に係る廃有機物燃焼処理装置10の作動の状態を説明する。まず廃油の処理前に燃焼筒30に内筒を形成する。この処理ではポンプ15を駆動して廃油タンク12にドラム缶13から廃油2を注入し、ストップ弁22を閉状態、ストップ弁83,84を開状態とする。次に、電動機66を駆動して燃焼筒を回転しつつ、酸素−水素発生装置90、コンプレッサ81、96、113を駆動して燃焼筒30を回転させつつ燃焼室31内に水素ガス噴出ノズル47から水素ガスを、酸素空気混合ガス噴出ノズル48から酸素空気混合ガスを吹出させ、点火用プラグ49で着火する。そしてセラミック粒子をセラミック粒子投入口20から投入して、内筒50を形成する。

次に、内筒50が形成された状態でセラミック粒子投入口20を閉じ、電動機66を駆動して燃焼筒30を回転(例えば300rpm以上)しつつ、酸素−水素発生装置90、コンプレッサ81、96、113を駆動して燃焼筒30を回転させつつ燃焼室31内に水素ガス噴出ノズル47から水素ガスを、酸素空気混合ガス噴出ノズル48から酸素空気混合ガスを噴射しつつ、ギアポンプ21を駆動して燃焼筒30内に廃油噴出ノズル46から廃油を噴射させ、点火用プラグ49で着火する。すると、水素ガスが酸素空気混合ガスの酸素によって燃焼すると共に、廃油が酸素空気混合ガスの酸素によって燃焼処理される。

このとき燃焼室では図に示すように上昇渦が生じ、燃焼室内の燃焼温度は7000℃以上、圧力は980kPa(10kg/cm2)となり廃油は高温高圧下で完全燃焼される。このため排気ガスには、ダイオキシン、黒鉛等の有害物質は発生しないこととなる。尚、この状態で燃焼筒30の内筒50にはセラミックスの溶解部51と硬化部52とが形成される。
