本発明は、電子制御ユニット及び電子制御ユニット製造方法に関し、特に、自動車に搭載されるアクチュエータの運動を制御する電子制御ユニット及び電子制御ユニット製造方法に関する。

【従来の技術】
自動車に搭載される各種システムを制御する電子制御装置が知られている。そのシステムとしては、エンジン(ガソリン、ディーゼル)関係電子制御装置、トランスミッション関係電子制御装置、パワーステアリング関係電子制御装置、車高調整関係電子制御装置、ABS関係電子制御装置、エアバッグ関係電子制御装置、エアコンディショニング関係電子制御装置、定速走行関係電子制御装置が例示される。

図12は、公知の電子制御装置を示している。その電子制御装置101は、電子制御ユニット(Electronic Control Unit。以下、本明細書で「ECU」と略記される。)102、電源103、センサ群104およびアクチュエータ105を備え、自動車に搭載されている。電源103は、バッテリーであり、直流電力106を生成してECU102に供給する。センサ群104は、その自動車に関する物理量を測定し、その物理量を示す電気信号107をECU102に出力する。ECU102は、電気信号107が示す物理量に基づいて電気信号108を生成してアクチュエータ105に出力する。アクチュエータ105は、可動部分を備え、電気信号108をその可動部分の運動に変換する。アクチュエータ105としては、電動モータ、油圧装置が例示される。

The electronic control unit (2) according to the present invention outputs a second electric signal to the actuator (5) based on the first electric signal (7) input from the sensor to control the movement of the actuator (5). The electronic control unit (2) electrically connects the housing (11) in which the plurality of electronic devices (16, 17, 18, 25) are arranged inside and the plurality of electronic devices (16, 17, 18, 25) to each other. A bus bar (14), a boss arranged on the same plane as the bus bar (14), and an object to be fastened. The bus bar (14) and the boss are formed of the same kind of metal. The housing (11) has a bus bar (14) and a boss embedded therein. The boss reinforces a portion of the housing (11) to be joined to a fastening target.

The housing (11) can be manufactured by burying the metal plate (61) by insert molding and then cutting the metal plate (61) into bus bars (14) and bosses as appropriate.
