このような屋外用エレベータでは、エレベータかご室上部にドア開閉機構、室外空調機、送風ダクト等の用品が設置され、これらエレベータかご室およびかご上部の用品は、かご室よりも上部に伸びるかご側面外装パネルとかご上面外装パネルとによって覆われている。

また、屋外展望用エレベータのかご装置においては、かご室胴部に展望用ガラスが設けられ、この展望用ガラスの上下部に多面体形状の外装パネルで覆うことにより、かご室上部に設置されるかご上部用品を内装する構成となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
従って、以上のような屋外展望用エレベータを含む各種の屋外用エレベータでは、降雨時、雨水がかご上面外装パネルからかご側面外装パネルを伝わり、或いは屋根外装パネルから展望用ガラスを伝わることから、エレベータかごを汚したり、また最終的には雨水等がエレベータかごの下方に落ちるので、通行人に不快な気持ちを与えるなどの問題がある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
(1) 上記課題を解決するために、本発明に係る雨水、積もった雪を排出する屋外エレベータのかご装置は、かご室およびかご室上部の用品を側方から覆う側面外装パネルの上端部近傍内側に下降傾斜された上面外装パネルと、前記かご室の両側面中央部に取り付け立枠にそって配置された排出管と、前記上面外装パネルの下降傾斜端部から前記排出管に設けられ、当該上面外装パネルに降った雨水または積もった雪の解けた水を前記排出管に導くための導水手段とを設けた構成である。

本発明は以上のような構成とすることにより、雨水または積もった雪の解けた水が下降傾斜する上面外装パネルにそって導水手段に流れ込むので、導水手段を通して容易に排出管に導き、側面外装パネルを伝わらずにかご装置の下方に導くことができ、ひいては側面外装パネルを汚さず、また展望用ガラスを曇らすような問題を無くすことができる。

以下、本発明の一実施の形態について図1ないし図3を参照して説明する。
