TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention is configured such that identification / measurement of an object to be detected and the like can be performed by detecting, using a detection coil, a change exerted by the object to magnetic flux generated by energizing an excitation coil wound around a core. The present invention relates to a wound magnetic sensor.

[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In general, an ATM, a vending machine, a vending machine, and the like use a device that detects an object to be detected such as a magnetic card or a coin inserted or inserted. Such a device is provided with, for example, a wound magnetic sensor as shown in FIG. 15, and the sensor cores SC1 and SC2 constituting the magnetic sensor are used to detect a coin or a magnetic card to be detected. It is arranged so as to face the front and back of the detection object C. An

However, the
[0005]
First, as shown in FIG. 17, the magnetic permeability μ of the sensor core SC provided in the above-mentioned wire-wound magnetic sensor depends on the characteristics of the magnetic material used for the sensor core SC and various characteristics corresponding to changes in the temperature T. It becomes. For example, there are various types such as those showing an increasing tendency (Example 1), those showing a decreasing tendency (Example 2), and those decreasing after increasing (Example 3) with respect to the change of the temperature T. That is, when the use environment temperature of the wound magnetic sensor changes, the sensor sensitivity fluctuates with the temperature. Therefore, the difference between the level value of the standby output signal and the level value of the detection output signal indicates the detection signal of the object to be detected. Even if is obtained, this level difference also fluctuates with the environmental temperature, and there is a possibility that the detection of the detection target is erroneously recognized.
[0006]
Looking at the impedance of the sensor, in addition to the above-described temperature change of the magnetic permeability μ, the winding resistance value DCR of the

[0008]
As described above, the temperature fluctuation of the detection target detection signal obtained from the conventional wound magnetic sensor is based on the fluctuation based on the temperature fluctuation of the magnetic permeability μ of the sensor core SC and the winding resistance DCR of the
[0009]
In order to solve such a problem, a technology has been proposed in which a temperature detecting element such as a thermistor is attached to a circuit or a sensor to measure an environmental temperature, and a temperature of an object detection signal is corrected in accordance with the measured temperature. However, since it is difficult to accurately measure the required temperature of the sensor portion, errors are likely to occur in the correction, and the device becomes expensive.
[0010]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to provide a wound-type magnetic sensor capable of easily and accurately identifying an object to be detected with a simple configuration.
[0011]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, a wound type magnetic sensor according to the present invention includes a sensor core disposed to face an object to be detected, and an exciting and detecting coil wound around a part of the sensor core. A constant current drive circuit is provided which constantly supplies a constant current to the coil to drive the coil. In this case, the excitation coil and the detection coil may use a common coil in which the excitation coil also functions as the detection coil, or may use a separate excitation coil and the detection coil. .
In the wound-type magnetic sensor having the above configuration, if the excitation coil is driven by a constant current, it can be obtained from the detection coil excluding a temperature fluctuation based on the winding resistance DCR of the excitation coil. And the temperature of the sensor can be estimated and measured using the output of the exciting coil. Therefore, based on the estimated temperature, it is possible to obtain a detection target detection signal in a state where the magnetic permeability of the sensor core and the temperature fluctuation of the detection target are removed, and the wound magnetic field has a small error with respect to the fluctuation of the environmental temperature. A sensor can be easily obtained.
[0012]
Further, in the wire wound magnetic sensor according to the present invention, the constant current drive is performed even when the sensor is in a standby state in which the object to be detected does not face the sensor core or when the object to be detected is facing the sensor core. The temperature of the exciting coil, that is, the temperature of the sensor can be estimated based on the level value of the drive voltage in the exciting coil driven by the circuit.
[0013]
In order to estimate the temperature of the exciting coil, a low-frequency signal for detecting temperature is applied to the exciting coil, and the temperature of the exciting coil is estimated based on the output value of the low-frequency signal. In this case, the low-frequency signal is preferably a DC signal for removing the inductance component of the coil, but can be sufficiently used even for a low-frequency signal because the ratio of the inductance component of the coil can be reduced. If a low-frequency signal is applied to the exciting coil in this manner, fluctuations due to temperature can be treated as a DCR component of a winding resistance value of the exciting coil that changes almost linearly, and the temperature of the exciting coil can be accurately determined. Can be estimated.
[0014]
If the temperature of the exciting coil can be estimated, since this is the temperature constituting the sensor itself, a case where temperature correction means for correcting the detection signal of the object to be detected based on the estimated temperature value of the exciting coil is provided. The correction result can be an extremely reliable output value.
[0015]
As the low-frequency signal for temperature detection, a low-frequency detection signal capable of detecting the object to be detected by itself may be used, and a single low-frequency signal may be used. Even if the detection signal for detecting the detection object is a low-frequency signal, the low-frequency signal for temperature detection may be a different lower-frequency signal.
[0016]
When a high-frequency signal is preferable as the detection signal for detecting the object, a signal obtained by adding a low-frequency signal for temperature detection and a high-frequency signal for object detection to an AC signal to be applied to the excitation coil. Good to do. In this way, by adding the signal for detecting the object and the signal for detecting the temperature, it is possible to select and use the most suitable frequency for each purpose. When a high-frequency signal is applied as a signal, a sensor suitable for detecting the displacement or shape of the detection target can be obtained.
[0017]
The coil for temperature detection at this time may be arranged in the sensor as a coil different from the excitation coil, and may be driven by another drive circuit. In this way, it is possible to measure the temperature at any location in the sensor.
[0018]
In the wound type magnetic sensor having the above configuration, if the temperature in the sensor can be measured accurately, the temperature characteristics of the magnetic permeability μ of the sensor core SC and the temperature characteristics of the object to be detected are measured in advance, so that the wound type magnetic sensor can be used. A correction value for a certain temperature can be obtained comprehensively for the magnetic sensor, and the detected object detection signal can be corrected easily and with high accuracy by using the estimated temperature as the temperature correction means.
[0019]
For example, the low-frequency signal for temperature detection applied to the excitation coil is obtained by extracting the output from the voltage between both ends of the excitation coil through a low-pass filter, thereby obtaining the temperature of the excitation coil based on the winding resistance value of the excitation coil. Can be obtained as an estimated value.Based on the estimated temperature value, a variation based on the temperature variation of the magnetic permeability of the sensor core corresponding to the estimated temperature value and the temperature variation of the eddy current generated in the object to be detected is calculated. It is possible to obtain a corrected detection output of the object to be obtained or excluding the fluctuation.
[0020]
In obtaining the corrected detection output of the detection object, a relation table between a voltage and a temperature based on the winding resistance value of the excitation coil, a temperature fluctuation of the magnetic permeability of the sensor core, and an eddy current generated in the detection object If a correction table determined from the relationship between the output fluctuation based on the temperature fluctuation and the temperature is provided, and a correction detection output of the object to be detected is obtained based on these tables, the correction detection output Can be easily obtained.
[0021]
Note that it is preferable to use the excitation coil of the sensor core for temperature detection in order to simplify the configuration of the sensor. However, a temperature detection coil different from the excitation coil is wound around the sensor core, and the temperature detection coil is used. On the other hand, it is also possible to provide a constant current drive circuit for temperature that always supplies a constant current to drive.

In this constant current drive circuit, feedback is applied so that the input voltage Vin and the end voltage of the pure resistance RL are always the same, and a so-called virtual short-circuit state of the input terminal is formed. Therefore, the current flowing through the resistor RL is (input voltage Vin) / (current setting resistor RL). Here, if a sine wave having a frequency f is used as the input voltage Vin, the current flowing through the

[0035]
The temperature correction of the detected object detection signal by such a temperature correction means can obtain a particularly good result when the magnetic permeability μ of the sensor core SC monotonically changes with respect to the temperature. Sensor cores exhibiting monotonic characteristics are readily available.
[0036]
Here, the above-described drive
[0037]
When the driving frequency of a wound magnetic sensor having a sensor core body is low and the inductance at the driving frequency is small, the coil impedance is dominated by the winding resistance DCR, and the impedance contribution rate is determined by the square of cos θ. And most of the components of the winding resistance DCR vary depending on the core shape, the number of turns, and the frequency. Therefore, it is preferable to use a low driving frequency of the sensor in order to easily obtain the fluctuation of the winding resistance DCR.
[0038]
The relationship between the drive voltage of the excitation coil and the temperature is related by data measured in advance, and is stored as a table or a mathematical expression in the

[0040]
By the way, since the inductance of the coil increases in proportion to the frequency, when the frequency applied to the excitation coil is increased, the ratio of the inductance L of the coil to the impedance of the excitation coil increases. Is not preferred.
[0041]
Specifically, even in a coil having a small inductance and a large winding resistance DCR, as in the coil of Table 1, the contribution ratio of the winding resistance DCR to the impedance is extremely low.
[Table 1]
In such a case, a thermometer utilizing the temperature characteristics of the core permeability can be provided. However, the core material to be used is not always preferable in temperature characteristics as a thermometer. In this case, it is preferable to configure as follows.
[0042]
For example, in the DCR detection circuit shown in FIG. 8, by applying a DC bias
[0043]
When such a DCR detection circuit shown in FIG. 8 was actually used for five winding-type magnetic sensors, the temperature fluctuation of the drive voltage V0Z in the excitation coils 43c and 43d was measured. As described above, it has been found that there is little variation among the winding type magnetic sensors, and characteristics with good linearity with respect to temperature can be obtained. Therefore, the same correction data can be used for all sensors.
[0044]
On the other hand, when the temperature fluctuation of the level value of the detection output signal during standby was measured using the five wound magnetic sensors in the same manner as described above, the result shown in FIG. 10 was obtained. In this case, the thermometer utilizes the temperature characteristics of the core permeability. According to this result, although the variation among the respective wound-type magnetic sensors is relatively large, there is a certain tendency, so that the temperature correction can be performed by determining the correction curve for each of the wound-type magnetic sensors. .

In order to use such a DCR detection circuit as an actual device, for example, a configuration as shown in FIG. 11 is made.

When driving a plurality of wire-wound magnetic sensors at different frequencies, for example, a drive circuit as shown in FIG. 12 is used. In this case, a high-frequency signal of, for example, 1 MHz is used to detect the displacement and position of the object and the shape of the object, and a low-frequency signal of, for example, 100 KHz is used for material identification and conductivity measurement of the object. In this example, a low-frequency signal of, for example, 4 KHz is used as a low-frequency signal for temperature detection using a high-frequency signal. With this configuration, the detection target and the temperature can be detected using the frequency signals corresponding to the respective purposes. When a plurality of frequencies having different phases are used at the same time as described above, the output amplitude may fluctuate due to a phase difference situation or the like. However, using such a drive circuit, a drive signal with the same phase is obtained. Output fluctuations can be eliminated.

As described above, the embodiments of the invention made by the inventor have been specifically described. However, the present invention is not limited to the above embodiments, and it can be said that various modifications can be made without departing from the gist of the invention. Not even.
[0051]
For example, the present invention is not limited to the wound-type magnetic sensor having the structure according to the above-described embodiment, and detects an impedance change based on an eddy current generated in a detection target by a magnetic effect of a magnetic flux of an excitation coil. The present invention can be similarly applied to various kinds of wire-wound magnetic sensors as long as they are detected by the following method.
