Abstract
Description

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an inspection apparatus for inspecting an article, and more particularly to an inspection apparatus that reads information from an RF-ID medium such as a non-contact type IC label attached to an article and performs inspection using the read information.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In recent years, with the rapid spread of RF-ID media such as a non-contact type IC label capable of writing and reading information in a non-contact state, the non-contact type IC label is attached to an article or the like, and the non-contact type IC label is attached. An inspection apparatus that reads information from a label and inspects an article or the like using the read information has been considered.
[0003]
In an inspection device using such a non-contact type IC label, a gate provided with a reader / writer capable of reading information written on the non-contact type IC label is mounted on a transport path through which articles are transported. The information written on the non-contact type IC label is read by the reader / writer when the article passes through the gate.
[0004]
Here, a non-contact type IC label attached to an article or the like will be described.
[0005]
FIG. 5 is a diagram illustrating an example of the structure of a general non-contact type IC label.

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In a conventional general non-contact type IC label as described above, a magnetic field generated in a direction emitted from a coil-shaped core portion by a current flowing through a coil-shaped antenna of a reader / writer has a non-contact type IC label. By passing through the coil-shaped core portion of the antenna, a current flows to the antenna of the non-contact type IC label, and this current is supplied to the IC module of the non-contact type IC label, and information is written or read. However, the case where the antenna of the reader / writer and the antenna of the non-contact type IC label are opposed to each other and the case where the antenna of the reader / writer and the antenna of the non-contact type IC label are arranged to be perpendicular to each other are as follows. The communicable distance between the reader / writer and the non-contact type IC label is greatly different.
[0013]
FIG. 7 is a view for explaining the principle of the operation of writing and reading information to and from the
[0014]
As shown in FIG. 7, when the non-contact
[0015]
Thereby, when the antenna of the reader / writer and the antenna of the non-contact type IC label are arranged to be perpendicular to each other, compared with the case where the antenna of the reader / writer and the antenna of the non-contact type IC label are opposed to each other. Therefore, the communicable distance between the reader / writer and the non-contact type IC label becomes extremely short.
[0016]
However, in the conventional inspection device as described above, since the reader / writer antenna is attached to the gate installed on the transport path of the articles or the like so as to face in a predetermined direction, Depending on the surface to which the non-contact IC label is attached to the article, there is a possibility that information written on the non-contact IC label may not be read even when the article passes through the gate.
[0017]
Further, when metal is interposed between the non-contact type IC label attached to the article and the reader / writer antenna, even if the non-contact type IC label and the reader / writer antenna face each other, the non-contact type IC label and the reader / writer antenna face each other. There is a problem that information written on the type IC label cannot be read by a reader / writer.
[0018]
The present invention has been made in view of the above-described problems of the related art, and reads information on an article written on a non-contact type IC label attached to the article, and reads the read information. An object of the present invention is to provide an inspection apparatus for inspecting an article by using the non-contact type IC label, which can be accurately inspected regardless of the surface of the article. I do.

[0027]
(Action)
In the present invention configured as described above, an article incorporating an RF-ID medium capable of reading information in a non-contact state is mounted on a rotary table that rotates with a plane on which the article is mounted as a rotation surface. Then, the article rotates with the rotation of the turntable. In this state, the information written on the RF-ID medium incorporated in the article is read by at least one information reading means provided facing the rotary table. Here, since the article is rotated with the rotation of the turntable, even if the RF-ID medium is incorporated into the article in any direction, the turn of the turntable causes the article to face the information reading means. Is more likely to occur, thereby reducing the incidence of inspection errors.
[0028]
When a weight measuring means for measuring the weight of the article is provided, the weight is measured by the weight of the article measured by the weight measuring means and the information read from the RF-ID medium by the information reading means. It is determined whether or not information has been read by the information reading means from the RF-ID media incorporated in all the articles whose weights have been measured by the means. The information read from the RF-ID medium by the information reading means also includes information on the weight of the incorporated article, and the result of reading by the information reading means and the total weight measured by the weight measuring means are included. By detecting whether or not they match, it is determined whether or not information has been read from the RF-ID media incorporated in all the articles whose weight has been measured by the weight measuring means. If it is determined that the information has been read from the RF-ID media incorporated in all the articles whose weight has been measured by the weight measuring means, the article is inspected using the information read from the RF-ID media. Is performed, and if it is determined that the information has not been read from the RF-ID medium incorporated in at least one of the articles whose weight has been measured by the weight measuring means, an inspection error is determined. You.
[0029]
Thereby, an inspection error can be detected.
[0030]
When an article in which an RF-ID medium from which information can be read out in a non-contact state is transported along a transport path, first, at the first gate, the information attached to the first gate is read. The information written on the RF-ID medium is read by the reading means. The weight measuring means measures the total weight of the article whose information is read from the RF-ID medium at the first gate. The information read from the RF-ID medium at the first gate also includes information on the weight of the incorporated article, and the read result at the first gate and the total measured by the weight measuring means are included. By detecting whether the weight matches the weight, information can be read from the RF-ID media incorporated in all the articles whose weight has been measured by the weight measuring means by the information reading means attached to the first gate. It is determined whether the data has been read. If it is determined that the information has been read from the RF-ID media incorporated in all the articles whose weight has been measured by the weight measuring means, the article is inspected using the information read from the RF-ID media. Is performed, and the transport path of the article is switched to the path where the inspection has been completed by the first switching means, and the article is transported. If it is determined that the information has not been read from the RF-ID medium incorporated in at least one of the articles whose weight has been measured by the weight measuring unit, the first switching unit determines that the information has not been read out. Is switched so that the article is mounted on the rotary table, and the article is transported to the rotary table. Thereafter, when the article is mounted on the rotating table, the article rotates with the rotation of the rotating table, which rotates with the conveying surface of the article as the rotating surface. In this state, information written on the RF-ID medium incorporated in the article is read by a plurality of information reading means attached to the second gate so as to face the rotary table. Here, the plurality of information reading means attached to the second gate are attached so as to face the rotary table, and the article mounted on the rotary table is rotated by the rotation of the rotary table. Therefore, regardless of the direction in which the RF-ID media is installed in the article in any direction, and in which direction the article is mounted on the turntable, In addition, the state in which the RF-ID medium faces the information reading means is easily formed, thereby reducing the rate of occurrence of inspection errors.
[0031]
As described above, first, reading from the RF-ID medium incorporated in the article is performed by the first gate having a relatively simple structure, and the rotation is performed only when the information is not read from the RF-ID medium. The information written in the RF-ID medium incorporated in the article is read by the table and the second gate to which a plurality of information reading means are attached so as to face the rotary table. Inspection apparatus for reading information written in the RF-ID medium and inspecting the article using the read information, in which direction the RF-ID medium is incorporated in the article. However, the inspection can be accurately performed without complicating the processing more than necessary.
