Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicle seat device having a nut member welded to front and rear ends of a rail.
[0002]
[Prior art]
The vehicle seat is bolted to the lower rail fixed to the floor at the front and rear end flanges of the upper rail slidably disposed in the front-rear direction, or bolted to the rail fixed to the floor. Is done.
The completed seat is mounted on the flanges at the front and rear ends of the upper rail that extends in the front-rear direction of the vehicle, and the bolts are fastened with an impact wrench from an obliquely upper front and back of the seat due to space limitations. It is common.
[0003]
In order to fix the seat to the upper rail using such a limited space, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H11-1189 proposes providing a flange portion at the front and rear ends of the upper rail. An example is shown in FIG. The upper rail 1 has a shape in which two plates are formed in a substantially inverted T-shaped cross section and extends in the front-rear direction of the vehicle. The lower rail 2 has a main body having a substantially U-shaped cross section, and a guide 4 for receiving the shoe 3 of the upper rail 1. The lower rail 2 is bolted to the floor 5.
[0004]
The opposed vertical wall portions 6, 6 of the upper rail 1 have bending portions 7, 7 formed by bending the front and rear ends to one side, and the both bending portions are overlapped to form a flange portion 8. A screw hole 9 for receiving a bolt is provided at the center of the flange portion 8.
In order to fix the seat (not shown) to the upper rail 1, means for aligning the bracket of the seat with the flange portion 8 and screwing a bolt into the screw hole 9 is used.
[0005]
Apart from this, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. H11-99855 proposes that the tops of the vertical walls 6, 6 of the upper rail 1 are bent horizontally to form a flange 8, and a screw hole 9 is formed in the horizontal flange. .
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In the above-described conventional example, the screw hole formed in the flange portion exists at a position offset from the vertical wall portion passing through the center of the upper rail.
For this reason, when an external force acts on the sheet, the external force may cause bending and twisting of the flange portion and the vertical wall portion, which may cause deformation of the flange portion and change the posture of the sheet.
[0007]
Therefore, an object of the present invention is to solve the above-described disadvantages of the related art.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to solve the above-mentioned problem, the present invention basically arranges the center of a screw hole of a nut member so as to coincide with the center of a vertical wall portion of a rail, and places the nut member on a step of an end face of the rail. Adopt technical means of welding to the part. Preferably, the rail members are upper rails or slide rails.
[0009]
The adoption of such basic means is based on the fact that even when an external force acts on the sheet and the external force is transmitted to the nut member, the center of the screw hole of the nut member coincides with the center of the vertical wall portion. Is received as a buckling load on the vertical wall portion, and the nut member is not bent or twisted. Therefore, the strength of the sheet can be maintained high.
[0010]
ADVANTAGE OF THE INVENTION According to this invention, in the vehicle seat apparatus which bolts a vehicle seat to a rail, the step part formed in the end surface of a pair of vertical wall part which opposes a rail, and it sits on this step part and is welded to a rail. A vehicle seat device having a nut member having a screw hole center of the nut member directed to a center between the vertical wall portions of the rail.
[0011]
Preferably, the rail is an upper rail slidable with respect to a lower rail fixed to a floor, and nut members are disposed on front and rear end surfaces of the upper rail.
[0012]
More preferably, the nut member has a pair of fin portions sandwiching both outer surfaces of the upper rail. The nut member can be arranged to be inclined with respect to the horizontal plane, or a part of the top wall of the upper rail can be extended to the upper surface of the nut member.
[0013]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
As shown in FIG. 1, a slide rail or upper rail 10 is formed by press-forming a steel plate, and has opposed vertical wall portions 11 and 11 and a substantially U-shaped section provided integrally with a lower portion of the vertical wall portions 11 and 11. It has sliding portions 12, 12, which hold shoes or bearings and are fitted to guide portions of the lower rail (see FIG. 4).
Steps 13, 13 are formed at the front and rear ends of the vertical walls 11, 11 of the upper rail 10. A nut member 14 is seated on the steps 13, 13, and the nut member 14 is welded to the upper rail 10.
[0014]
The nut member 14 includes a rectangular main body 16 having a screw hole 15, and a pair of spaced fins 17, 17 extending from both sides of the main body 16 along the outer surface of the vertical wall portions 11, 11. Become. The screw hole 15 is formed at the center of the main body 16.
The nut member 14 is attached to the front and rear end surfaces of the upper rail 10 such that the lower surface and the rear surface of the main body 16 are seated on the steps 13, and the fins 17, 17 sandwich both outer surfaces of the vertical walls 11, 11. Attach. Next, the nut member 14 is welded to the upper rail 10.
[0015]
The center of the screw hole 15 of the nut member 14 coincides with the center of the pair of vertical wall portions 11, 11. If the interval between the vertical wall portions 11, 11 is large enough to receive the screw portion of the bolt, the main body The screw portion of the bolt for attaching the sheet may extend from the screw hole 15 of the portion 16. If the distance is small, the main body 16 is made large enough to receive the screw portion of the bolt.
Since the external force acting on the seat is directed to the center between the vertical wall portions 11 and is received by the step portions 13, there is no bending or twisting of the nut member 14 with respect to the upper rail 10, which is extremely advantageous in strength.
[0016]
In the example shown in FIG. 1, the steps 13, 13 are formed in the longitudinal direction of the upper rail 10 with a plane horizontal to the floor and a plane perpendicular to this plane, but the horizontal plane is inclined as shown in FIG. It may be a tapered surface. In this example, the nut member 14 is welded in an inclined manner to the upper rail 10 to enable the bolt to be screwed into the nut member 14 from obliquely above.
[0017]
In the example shown in FIG. 3, a part 18 of the top wall of the upper rail 10 extends on the upper surface of the main body 16 of the nut member 14. In this example, the main body 16 is sandwiched between the upper and lower portions, and a larger welding surface between the nut member 14 and the upper rail 10 can be secured.
[0018]
2 and 3, the center of the screw hole 15 of the nut member 14 is directed to the center between the vertical walls 11 of the upper rail 10, and even if an external force acts via the seat, the nut member 14 and the upper rail are not bent or twisted. Also, since the nut member 14 is in contact with the upper rail 10 via many surfaces, no local stress is generated.
[Brief description of the drawings]
