【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a two-band high-frequency oscillator operating in two frequency bands.
[0002]
[Prior art]
As a prior art, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-294018 discloses a two-band system in which a first and a second oscillation circuit are selected by two externally applied control voltages, and an operation and a non-operation are selectively switched. An example of a high-frequency oscillator is described.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in an example of a conventional two-band high-frequency oscillator, if the circuit is designed so as to satisfy the oscillation conditions such as the center frequency, the frequency bandwidth, and the output current level, the two oscillation circuits are not completely switched but are instantaneously switched to each other. Operate at the same time, resulting in disadvantages such as waste of current consumption and generation of noise. In addition, the conventional two-band switching circuit of the two-band high-frequency oscillator uses a large inductance of an inductor, and therefore requires an expensive chip inductor.
[0004]
An object of the present invention is to provide a two-band high-frequency oscillator in which two oscillation circuits are completely switched with a simple circuit configuration.
[0005]
It is another object of the present invention to provide a two-band high-frequency oscillator that does not require a large and expensive chip inductor.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In the two-band high-frequency oscillator according to the present invention, a first oscillation circuit oscillating in a first frequency band in a state where a first switching control voltage is input, and a second switching control voltage are input. A second oscillation circuit that oscillates in the second frequency band in the state, and an oscillation output of the first oscillation circuit and an oscillation output of the second oscillation circuit, which are input signals, respectively. An amplifier circuit and a switching control voltage output circuit are provided. The switching control voltage output circuit has the first voltage level when the first oscillation circuit performs the oscillating operation, and is lower than the first voltage level when the second oscillation circuit performs the oscillating operation. The first and second oscillating circuits output the first and second switching control voltages with the frequency band switching command voltage having the second voltage level as input. According to the present invention, when the switching control voltage output circuit detects that the frequency band switching command voltage is at the first voltage level, the first switching control voltage for outputting the first switching control voltage during the detection period. And a second switching control voltage generating circuit for outputting a second switching control voltage during the detection period when the frequency band switching command voltage is detected to be at the second voltage level. I do. The first switching control voltage generating circuit includes a first voltage dividing circuit configured to divide the frequency band switching command voltage and to output the divided voltage as a first switching control voltage. The second switching control voltage generation circuit is configured to divide a reference voltage prepared in advance and to output the divided voltage as a second switching control voltage. When the reference voltage is at the second voltage level, the reference voltage is prevented from being applied to the second voltage dividing circuit. [0007]
In the present invention, when the frequency band switching command voltage externally provided by the user's selection is at the first voltage level, the first switching control voltage generating circuit converts the frequency band switching command voltage into the first voltage dividing voltage. A first switching control voltage obtained by dividing the voltage by the circuit is applied to a first oscillation circuit. As a result, the first oscillation circuit enters an oscillation state. At this time, in the second switching control generation circuit, the reference voltage application blocking circuit prevents the reference voltage prepared in advance from being applied to the second voltage dividing circuit. It is not provided to the second oscillation circuit. As a result, the second oscillation circuit enters a non-oscillation state. Conversely, when the frequency band switching command voltage is the second voltage level lower than the first voltage level, the output voltage level of the first voltage dividing circuit in the first switching control voltage generating circuit is low. As a result, the first switching control voltage cannot be obtained, and the first oscillation circuit enters a non-oscillation state. At this time, in the second switching control generating circuit, the third voltage dividing circuit allows the reference voltage application preventing circuit to allow the reference voltage to be applied to the second voltage dividing circuit. The second switching control voltage obtained by dividing the voltage by the voltage dividing circuit is supplied to the second oscillation circuit. As a result, the second oscillation circuit enters an oscillation state. With such a circuit operation, according to the present invention, the first and second oscillation circuits can be simultaneously operated by basically setting the voltage division ratios of the first voltage division circuit and the third voltage division circuit appropriately. The operation (oscillation state) can be reliably prevented. Therefore, according to the present invention, a two-band high-frequency oscillation circuit in which two oscillation circuits are completely switched can be obtained with a simple circuit configuration.
[0008]
The configuration of the reference voltage application blocking circuit used in the second switching control voltage generating circuit is arbitrary. For example, the reference voltage application blocking circuit includes a semiconductor switch circuit arranged in parallel with the second voltage dividing circuit, and makes the semiconductor switch circuit conductive when the frequency band switching command voltage is at the first voltage level. When the frequency band switching command voltage is at the second voltage level, the semiconductor switch circuit can be turned off. In the reference voltage application blocking circuit having such a configuration, when the frequency band switching command voltage is at the first voltage level, the semiconductor switch circuit becomes conductive and the semiconductor switch circuit short-circuits the second voltage divider circuit. To As a result, the second oscillation circuit enters a non-oscillation state. When the frequency band switching command voltage is at the second voltage level, the semiconductor switch circuit is turned off, a reference voltage is applied to the second voltage dividing circuit, and the second switching control voltage is changed to the second oscillation level. Added to the circuit, the second oscillating circuit becomes oscillating. Such a reference voltage application blocking circuit has a simple circuit configuration and does not cause a malfunction. More specifically, as the second voltage dividing circuit, a resistive voltage dividing circuit formed using a resistor can be used. A transistor having an emitter-collector circuit arranged in parallel with the second voltage dividing circuit can be used as the semiconductor switch circuit of the reference voltage application blocking circuit. In this case, a voltage obtained by dividing the frequency band switching command voltage by the third voltage dividing circuit is applied to the base of the transistor. The third voltage dividing circuit turns on the transistor when the frequency band switching command voltage Vsw is at the first voltage level, and turns off the transistor when the frequency band switching command voltage Vsw is at the second voltage level. Designed to be. Therefore, when viewed at a more specific level, the first and second oscillation circuits operate simultaneously (become in an oscillation state) simply by appropriately setting the voltage division ratios of the first and third voltage division circuits. Can be reliably prevented.
[0009]
The reference voltage application blocking circuit includes a semiconductor switch circuit arranged in series with the second voltage dividing circuit, and the semiconductor switch circuit is turned off when the frequency band switching command voltage is at the first voltage level. When the frequency band switching command voltage is at the second voltage level, the semiconductor switch circuit can be made conductive. In the reference voltage application blocking circuit, when the frequency band switching command voltage is at the first voltage level, the semiconductor switch circuit is turned off, thereby preventing the reference voltage from being applied to the second voltage dividing circuit. Is done. As a result, the second oscillation circuit enters a non-oscillation state. When the frequency band switching command voltage is at the second voltage level, the semiconductor switch circuit is turned on, thereby allowing the reference voltage to be applied to the second voltage dividing circuit, A second switching control voltage obtained by dividing the reference voltage by the circuit is applied to the second oscillation circuit. As a result, the second oscillation circuit enters an oscillation state. Even with such a configuration, a reference voltage application blocking circuit that does not malfunction can be obtained with a simple circuit configuration. Also in this case, more specifically, a resistance voltage dividing circuit configured using a resistor can be used as the second voltage dividing circuit. As the semiconductor switch circuit of the reference voltage application blocking circuit, a transistor having an emitter-collector circuit arranged in series with the second voltage dividing circuit can be used. In this case, a voltage obtained by dividing the frequency band switching command voltage by the third voltage dividing circuit is applied to the base of the transistor.
[0010]
The circuit configurations of the first and second oscillation circuits are arbitrary. For example, each of the first and second oscillation circuits can be configured by an LC resonance circuit. In this case, if the inductor of the LC resonance circuit is constituted by a pattern inductor formed as a circuit pattern on a circuit board or between layers, a two-band high-frequency oscillator can be constituted small and inexpensively.
