Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a handrail that assists an elderly person or a physically handicapped person in using a toilet or the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
In public and private toilet booths that consider the use of physically handicapped and elderly people, there are individual differences in the degree of disability of the physically handicapped and the degree of physical weakness of the elderly, and Since a disabled person may be assisted, it is common practice to provide a movable handrail in a toilet booth so that the majority of users can use it.
[0003]
For example, in a toilet booth shown in FIG. 18, in the case of a wheelchair user, by installing a movable handrail on the side of the sanitary ware, the movable handrail can be moved to a position that does not hinder transfer when transferring between the sanitary ware and the wheelchair. The user or caregiver can move it to make it easy to transfer between the sanitary ware and the wheelchair. After transferring to the sanitary ware, move the handrail closer to the sanitary ware and stabilize the user's sitting position during excretion In addition, it is possible to prevent the danger of the user falling down, etc., and to prevent danger such as falling down, and also to provide a movable handrail in front to prevent danger of the user falling down.
[0004]
As a conventional handrail capable of vertically rotating a gripping member, there is a stopper structure for restricting the vertical rotation of the gripping member as shown in FIG. 17, and an operation lever is disposed at a central portion of the gripping member. In addition, there is a movable handrail that releases a stopper by operating an operation lever and enables vertical rotation.
[0005]
The structure consists of a gripping member that connects the end to the rotating shaft, and a bracket that supports the rotating shaft. A plurality of fitting grooves are provided on the side vertical wing pieces of the bracket to fit inside the rotating shaft. A stopper that fits into the groove is disposed, and the stopper is connected to an operation lever disposed at the center of the grip member via a connecting member in the grip member. Further, an exposed gas damper is provided between the bracket and the gripping member to prevent the gripping member from dropping suddenly (for example, see Patent Document 1).

[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the conventional movable handrail, if the movable handrail is installed beside the sanitary ware, there is a danger that the user falls forward without the handrail. In addition, when a movable handrail was installed in front of the sanitary ware, the fixed handrail installed on the side interfered with the movable handrail. Furthermore, if one handrail is installed at a convenient position, the other handrail may become inconvenient to use or may not be installed at the worst, so the user falls down to the inconvenient handrail or to the side without the handrail. There was a problem that there is a possibility. When two handrails are installed as described above, there is a problem that time and labor are required.
[0008]
In addition, in the case of installing a combination of a conventional movable handrail and a general fixed handrail, a general movable type installed in front of the sanitary ware from the position of the grip member of the general fixed handrail installed on the side If the movable handrail cannot be fixed at the storage position because the storage position of the handrail gripping member is farther from the wall surface, when the user grips the movable handrail at the storage position at the time of the rising operation of the user and puts weight on it There is a problem that there is a danger that the movable handrail rotates and the user falls down.
[0009]
Also, with the conventional movable handrail, if it is necessary to change the position of the movable handrail installed on the wall due to changes in the user's physical condition, remove the fixing bracket that secures the movable handrail to the wall In addition, there is a problem that the position of the fixing bracket on the back of the wall must be changed, and thus the wall must be rebuilt.
[0010]
Also, in the conventional movable handrail, the grip member has a circular shape in cross section, is thin, and the contact area between the palm and the elbow to the arm is small. There was a problem that it was easy to cause pain.
[0011]
In addition, conventional movable handrails use spiral springs and dampers to reduce operating force and prevent sudden drop due to the weight of the gripping member. There has been a problem that a functional part having a built-in spring or damper becomes large or is exposed to the outside of a movable handrail, thereby deteriorating the design property or increasing the cost.
[0012]
Therefore, the present invention has been made to solve the above-described problems, and the positional relationship with the side fixed handrail is good, so that there is no concern that the user falls forward when using sanitary ware, and misuse in the storage position is prevented. An object of the present invention is to provide a movable handrail that can easily change an attachment position according to a use situation. It is still another object of the present invention to provide a movable handrail that can be used without causing pain and that can reduce an operation force and prevent a sudden drop of the grip member due to its own weight.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to claim 1 of the present invention, a fixed handrail member fixed to a wall surface, a joint member attached to the fixed handrail member, and a use position and a floor surface that are connected to the joint member and are horizontal with respect to a floor surface. [0018]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Hereinafter, the present invention will be described more specifically with reference to the drawings.
1 to 9 and 19 show a retractable handrail 1 according to an embodiment of the present invention. 19 is a perspective view in which the stowable handrail 1 is installed in a toilet booth, FIG. 1 is a side view of the stowable handrail 1, FIG. 2 is a plan view, FIG. 3 is a front view, and FIG. 5, FIG. 5 is a front view in which the movable handrail member 5 of FIG. 4 is mounted in a reverse manner, FIG. 6 is a sectional view taken along the line AA of FIG. 1, FIG. 7 is a detailed view of a P part of FIG. 9 is a sectional view taken along line BB of FIG. 3, and FIG. 9 is a sectional view taken along line CC of FIG.
[0019]
10 to 16 show a retractable handrail 1a according to another embodiment of the present invention. 10 is a front view, FIG. 11 is a sectional view taken along line DD of FIG. 6 when a lock mechanism is provided on the movable handrail member 5, and FIGS. 12 to 16 are movable handrail members according to another embodiment. 5 shows a sectional view.
[0020]
As shown in FIG. 1, the retractable handrail 1 includes a fixed handrail member 3 fixed to a wall surface 2 and a movable handrail member 5 rotatably fixed to the fixed handrail member 3 via a joint member 4. And a cushion member 6 provided on the movable handrail member 5.
The movable handrail member 5 in FIG. 1 shows a use position parallel to the floor 7, and the position 8 of the movable handrail member 5 rotates the movable handrail member 5 in the vertical direction, and And a substantially vertical storage position.
[0021]
The retractable handrail 1 is installed beside the sanitary ware 10 of the toilet booth as shown in FIG.
When the user transfers to the sanitary ware 10, the movable handrail member 5 of the retractable handrail 1 is stored at the position 8, and the fixed handrail member is located closer to the user than the movable handrail member 5. 3 can be transferred to the sanitary ware 10.
After the transfer, the user or caregiver pivots the movable handrail member 5 to a horizontal state, and the user grasps the movable handrail member 5 or excretes by placing an elbow, an arm, or the like, and It is possible to maintain a forward leaning posture in which the caregiver easily undresses.
After excretion, the user or caregiver pivots the movable handrail member 5 to the position 8 and uses the fixed handrail member 3 located closer to the user than the movable handrail member 5. It can stand up from the sanitary ware 10.
[0022]
Therefore, by using the retractable handrail 1 as compared with the conventional movable handrail, the user can use the device easily and safely, and can save the trouble of installing two handrails, a fixed handrail and a movable handrail. .
[0023]
In addition, when a movable handrail is installed such that a gripping member is disposed in front of the sanitary ware 10, if the movable handrail cannot be fixed at the storage position 8, the movable handrail at the storage position 8 is set when the user stands up. There is a risk that the movable handrail will rotate when the user grips and applies weight, and the user falls down.
However, the storage position 8 of the movable handrail member 5 of the stowable handrail 1 is set to a position between the grip member 3a of the fixed handrail member 3 and the wall surface 2 and between the holding member 3a of the fixed handrail member 3 and The gap L between the movable handrail member 5 at the wall surface 2 and the storage position 8 is 40 mm or more, which is at least twice the thickness of the general finger of the user, 20 mm. When the thickness is less than 20 mm, which is smaller than the typical finger thickness of 20 mm, the user holds the fixed handrail member 3 instead of the movable handrail member 5, so that the user can use it safely.
[0024]
The storage handrail shown in FIG. 3 is installed on the left side of the sanitary ware 10 as shown in FIG. As shown in FIG. 5, the movable handrail member 5 may be attached in the opposite direction to FIG. 3 and installed on the right side toward the sanitary ware 10.
In this embodiment, an I-shaped handrail is used as the fixed handrail member 3. However, a movable handrail member 5 may be installed on an L-shaped handrail as shown in FIG. The shape of the fixed handrail member 3 may be changed according to the situation and the layout situation of the toilet booth.
The fixed handrail member 3 of the retractable handrail 1 is divided into three grip members 3a, 3b, 3c. The grip members 3a and 3c are connected by a joint 13, and the grip members 3a and 3b are inserted into the joint member 4 and connected by four bolts 12. By providing the gripping member 3c, three fixed portions to the wall surface 2 are provided. Therefore, even when a horizontal or vertical force is applied to the tip of the movable handrail member 5, only the gripping members 3a and 3b are fixed. Can be used with less deflection and less anxiety than in the case of two locations.
[0026]
In this embodiment, the grip members 3a and 3b are divided into two, but they may be integrated. Furthermore, in the conventional movable handrail, the position of the movable handrail, which requires the wall 2 to be rebuilt, is changed by integrating the grip members 3a and 3b and providing a plurality of mounting holes for the bolts 12 in the grip members 3a and 3b. Thereby, it is possible to easily change the position of the movable handrail member 5 due to a change in the physical condition of the user.
[0027]
In addition, various joints for fixing an object to a general rod-shaped material can be used. For example, a structure may be employed in which a slit is provided in a circumferential portion surrounding the fixed handrail member 3 of the joint member 4, the joint member 4 is tightened with a screw or the like, and the fixed handrail member 3 is gripped. This makes it easier to change the position.
[0028]
The fixed handrail member 3 uses a resin-coated tube in which a stainless steel pipe is covered with a soft vinyl chloride resin, but the fixed handrail member 3 uses only a stainless steel pipe or a metal pipe other than a stainless steel pipe. You may. The resin used for the coating may be a resin material such as an elastomer instead of a soft vinyl chloride resin. Further, the cross section of the fixed handrail member 3 is circular, but may be elliptical, square, or trapezoidal.
[0029]
The holder 9 includes a mounting plate 53 mounted on the wall surface 2 with three wood screws 41 and a movable member 50 mounted on the mounting plate 53 with pins. The movable member 50 can rotate between a storage position 40 and a fixed position 39 for fixing the movable handrail member 5, and the movable handrail member 5 in the storage position 8 can be fixed by the holder 9.
Thereby, even if the user grips the movable handrail member 5, the movable handrail member 5 cannot be rotated, so that the user can use it safely.
[0030]
As shown in FIG. 6, the movable unit member 11 for rotating the movable handrail member 5 is connected to the joint member 4 by bolts 14.
The movable unit member 11 includes shafts 15 a and 15 b connected to the joint member 4, a movable member 17 attached to the shaft 15 a to which a pipe 16 is welded, three washers 18, three disc springs 19, It is composed of a nut 20, a nut 21, and a cover 22 that covers these members.
In this embodiment, the joint member 4 and the shafts 15a and 15b are separate but may be integrated, or only the shafts 15a and 15b may be integrated.
[0031]
Between the joint member 4 and the movable member 17, two washers 23 and a slide washer 24, and a cover 25 for improving the design are provided. A slide ring 26 is provided between the shaft 15a and the movable member 17. Provided. Since the sliding washer 24 and the sliding ring 26 are made of resin, the operation force can be reduced by smoothing the movement of the movable member 17, and the sliding noise can be reduced.
[0032]
As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, two washers 18 are provided on the side of the movable member 17 opposite to the joint member 4, and two disc springs 19 are formed to project toward the joint member 4. One disc spring 19 is recessed toward the joint member 4, one more washer 18 is inserted, the nut is tightened with a nut 20 and a nut 21, and these members are pressed in the direction of the joint member 4. This gives frictional resistance.
Since the pipe 16 can be stopped at an arbitrary position in the entire range where the pipe 16 rotates due to the frictional resistance, the user can safely use the pipe 16 by preventing the pipe 16 from falling due to its own weight.
[0033]
The number of washers 18 and disc springs 19 will be described.
By using three washers 18 and three disc springs 19, wear due to friction can be dispersed and durability can be improved. Increasing the number of washers 18 and disc springs 19 increases the contact area between the parts, so that the wear due to friction can be further dispersed and the durability can be improved. The force for operating the button 16 is increased, making it difficult for the user to use it. Conversely, operability can be improved by reducing the number of washers 18 and disc springs 19, but wear due to friction increases and durability decreases.
[0034]
The convex direction of the disc spring 19 and the combination thereof will be described.
In the case where three washers 18 and three disc springs 19 are used, if the three disc springs 19 are made to project in the same direction, the contact area between components increases, so that wear due to friction is dispersed. Although the durability can be improved, the frictional resistance is increased, so that the operability is deteriorated and it is difficult for the user to use.
Further, when the convex portions of the two disc springs 19 and the one disc spring 19 are opposed to each other, the elasticity of the two washers 18 elastically deformed by using the gap 29 cannot be used, and the three disc springs 19 cannot be used. Since the elasticity of only the spring 19 is used, the tightening torque of the nuts 20 and 21 must be carefully controlled, and the assemblability deteriorates.
Further, when the two left disc springs 19 shown in FIG. 7 are one and the one right disc spring 19 shown in FIG. 7 is two, the two disc springs 19 are elastically deformed. The deformation of the two washers 18 is reduced, and the tightening torque of the nuts 20 and 21 must be carefully controlled, which deteriorates the assemblability.
[0035]
Also, if the nut 20 is pressed only, the nut 20 may be loosened due to the vibration of the rotation operation of the pipe 16. However, by adding the nut 21, the nut 20 can be prevented from being loosened, and the user can feel safe. Can be used.
[0036]
The washer 18, the disc spring 19, the nuts 20, 21 are covered by a cover 22, and the cover 22 is attached to the shaft 15a with screws 27. Further, by providing a cap 28 for covering the screws 27, these members are The design can be improved so as not to be exposed to the external appearance, and further, mischief can be prevented.
[0037]
The movable unit member 11 may be provided with a locking function for fixing the movable handrail member 5 at an arbitrary position or a specified position, or a fixing holder may be provided on the wall surface 2.
In this case, since the movable handrail member 5 can be more reliably fixed, the movable handrail member 5 does not move during use, and the user can use the device more securely. FIG. 11 shows an example in which a lock mechanism is provided in the DD section of FIG. 6. A fitting plate 36 having a fitting groove 35 is attached inside the movable unit member 11, and The movable handrail member 5 can be fixed by fitting the convex portion 37 provided on the stopper 38.
[0038]
As shown in FIG. 8, the cushion member 6 is fixed to the pipe 16 by screws 30, and the cushion member 6 has a fixing member 31, a cushion material 32 on the surface of the fixing member 31, and a cover for covering the surface of the cushion material 32. 33 and a cover 34 that covers the pipe 16.
[0039]
The fixing member 31 is formed of wood or a metal material so that the fixing member 31 can be fixed with the screw 30, and an elastic substantially flat surface cushion material 32 is provided between the fixing member 31 and the cover 33, and the pipe 16 is also made of a soft material. By covering with the cover 34, even if the user grips or puts his arm from his elbow, he can easily use it without pain and can use it with peace of mind.
[0040]
In the embodiment of the present invention, the cushion material 32 is used. However, in addition to the embodiment, the cushion member 32 has a cross-sectional shape as shown in FIG. 12, FIG. 13, FIG. 14, FIG. 15, and FIG. Instead, it may be covered with a soft resin so that it can be used safely.
[0041]
With the above configuration, when the user transfers to the sanitary ware 10, the movable handrail member 5 of the retractable handrail 1 is stored at the position 8, and is located closer to the user than the movable handrail member 5. The fixed handrail member 3 is used to transfer to the sanitary ware 10. After the transfer, the user or the assistant rotates the movable handrail member 5 to a horizontal state, and the user grasps the movable handrail member 5 or excretes by putting the elbow or the arm on the excretion and assisting person. However, it is possible to maintain a forward leaning posture that allows easy undressing.
After excretion, the user or caregiver rotates the movable handrail member 5 to the position 8 and uses the fixed handrail member 3 located closer to the user than the movable handrail member 5 to use the sanitary ware. You can get up from 10.
[0042]
