本実施の形態では、電子部品を搭載したプリント基板を複数枚収納する樹脂製のケースとこのケースを覆うカバーからなるユニット装置筐体において、そのケースとこのケースに対して相対する前記カバーとから構成される場合の例について説明する。
図1は本発明の第1の実施の形態を示すユニット装置の全体の等角図である。
図1において、1は樹脂製ケース本体、2、3はケース長穴、4は樹脂製カバー本体、5、6はカバーツメ、7、8はカバー短穴、9は専用治具を形成された樹脂製バッテリカバー、9aはつかみ部、10、11はバッテリカバーツメである。
図から解るように、電子部品を搭載したプリント基板を複数収納する樹脂製のケース1に相対する樹脂製のカバー4が装着されている。このとき、ケース1側の長穴2、長穴3にそれぞれカバー4側のツメ5、ツメ6が入り込み嵌合している。この逆側面に対しても同等である。
また、カバー4には、ケース本体1に収納されたバッテリの一側面を覆う樹脂製のバッテリカバー9(以下、カバー4に対して「小カバー」と呼ぶこともある。)が装着されている。このとき、カバー4側の短穴7、短穴8にそれぞれバッテリカバー9側のツメ10、ツメ11が入り込み嵌合している。

このとき、専用治具12のストッパー面12aがケース1の表面に当たることにより、専用治具12が必要以上にカバー4のツメ5を押し込まないように保護する。
一般的にドライバーなどを使い同様にしてカバー4のツメ5を押し込む際には、ドライバー先が必要以上にケース長穴2に入り込み、場合によってはカバー4のツメ5やケース長穴2を傷つけたり、最悪は破壊する可能性がある。
また、ドライバーや他の工具等を用いる場合はその収納場所が問題となり得る。
本発明では、カバーをケースから簡単にしかも安全に製品を傷つけることなく取り外せるだけでなく、バッテリカバーに機能を兼用させることでスペースを確保できるので製品の小型化、あるいはローコスト化にもつながる。
また、使用しないときにはユニット装置に装着できるので作業者に対しても作業性が向上でき、自ら専用治具を用意しないですむことにより経済性も上がる。
これらにより、付加価値の高いユニット装置を実現することが可能である。

以上のように本発明によれば、電子部品を搭載したプリント基板を収納する樹脂製のケースと、該ケースに係合して該ケースを覆うカバーからなるユニット装置において、前記ケースとの係合を外して前記ケースから前記カバーを取り外すための樹脂製の専用治具を前記カバーに収納しており、
