Description

【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a vehicular lamp, and more particularly, to a configuration of a high-output LED lamp that has been frequently used in recent years as a light source for lighting the vehicular lamp.
[0002]
[Prior art]
FIG. 3 shows an example of the configuration of a conventional LED light source 90 for a vehicle lamp. For example, a required number of LED lamps 92 are mounted in a matrix or the like on a substrate 91 formed of a printed circuit board or the like. A control circuit 93 such as a resistor and an inverter for limiting current so that a necessary current flows when the LED lamp 92 is turned on by a power supply is mounted, and wiring is performed to form a LED light source 90 for a vehicle lamp. The vehicle light source LED light source 90 is attached to an appropriate position of the vehicle light device 80 by an appropriate means such as screwing.
[0003]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in the above-described conventional LED light source 90 for a vehicle lamp, for example, the control according to the shape of the substrate 91 for each shape of the vehicle lamp 80 or the number of the LED lamps 92 mounted on the substrate 91. The circuit 93 and the like must be designed and manufactured. As the number of models of the vehicular lamp 80 increases, the number of dedicated parts also increases. However, there is a problem that the burden becomes heavy in all aspects of management.
[0004]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention is an LED light source used as a light source of a vehicular lamp as a specific means for solving the above-mentioned conventional problems, and the LED light source is at least provided at a tip side of a socket adapted to the vehicular lamp. One LED lamp is mounted, a connector terminal for supplying power to the LED lamp is mounted on a rear end side, and the vehicle lamp is provided inside the socket between the LED lamp and the connector terminal. The present invention solves the problem by providing an LED light source for a vehicle lamp, in which a control circuit for matching the LED lamp with a vehicle power supply is incorporated in accordance with the purpose of use.
[0005]
BEST MODE FOR CARRYING OUT THE INVENTION
Next, the present invention will be described in detail based on an embodiment shown in the drawings. 1 and 2 is an LED light source for a vehicle lamp according to the present invention (hereinafter abbreviated as LED light source 1). The LED light source 1 is, for example, a tail light / brake light, a direction indicator. Lights, vehicle width lights, reverse lights, etc. are mainly used as a light source of signal lamps to notify other vehicles and pedestrians of the behavior of the own vehicle, will, etc. The same is true.
[0006]
Here, in the present invention, the LED light source 1 is provided with a socket 2, and the socket 2 is attached to and detached from the socket 10 used for an incandescent light bulb in the conventional example, such as a wedge base socket. If the mechanism 2a has the same configuration and is standardized and adopted as a socket for a vehicular lamp, it can be shared with a conventional product.
[0007]
Basically, one LED lamp 3 of high brightness and white light emission is attached to the front end side (light room side) of the socket 2, and this LED lamp 3 is attached to the rear end side (light room outside). A connector terminal 4 of a type which is standardly adopted in a socket 2 for a vehicle of a kind is provided.
[0008]
Here, if the light emitting source is an incandescent light bulb, the connector terminal 4 may be directly connected to the light emitting source. However, if the light emitting source is the LED lamp 3, the voltage of the vehicle power supply is changed to the LED lamp. 3 needs to be converted into a voltage or a current that is preferable for lighting.
[0009]
Therefore, in the present invention, a control circuit 5 for matching the LED lamp 3 with a vehicle power supply is incorporated in the socket 2 between the LED lamp 3 and the connector terminal 4. A board 5a such as a printed board is incorporated in the socket 2, and an appropriate control element 5b such as an inverter IC is mounted on the board 5a.
[0010]
Further, for example, in the power supply for the direction indicator lamp, it is required to blink at a predetermined cycle, and when the LED lamp 3 is employed as the light source as described above, the blinking is performed on the vehicle power supply side. Alternatively, there is an option to perform the control after controlling the voltage (current) suitable for the LED lamp 3.
[0011]
A similar option also occurs when the lamp body 10 is used as both a brake light and a taillight. For an incandescent light bulb in which the color temperature changes when the current consumption is increased or decreased, a double filament light bulb is prepared and the filament is turned on by switching the filament. In the LED lamp 3 whose luminance is controlled but the chromaticity does not change due to the increase or decrease of the current consumption, the lighting luminance for the brake light and the lighting luminance for the tail light are changed by increasing or decreasing the power supplied to the LED lamp 3. Is usually switched. The control circuit 5 according to the present invention may include the above-mentioned blinking function or the function of adjusting the lighting luminance.
[0012]
The control circuit 5 and the connector terminal 4 are electrically and mechanically connected via the board 5a. Similarly, the control circuit 5 and the LED lamp 3 are also electrically connected via the board 5a. Done. However, in the case of the LED lamp 3, an electrical connection with the substrate 5a is made in advance by, for example, a contact piece, and then mechanically connected to the socket 2 by an appropriate means such as an adhesive, depending on a procedure for assembling the LED lamp 3. A connection may be made.
[0013]
After the LED lamp 3, the connector terminal 4, and the control circuit 5 are assembled to the socket 2, the socket 2 is filled with resin or the like, and the control circuit 5 from the connector terminal 4 side, 3 and the flooding of the lamp body 10 are prevented.
[0014]
In the configuration of the present invention, the number of LED lamps 3 attached to one socket 2 is basically one, and the number of LED light sources 1 attached to one lamp body 10 is one. Approximately three. Therefore, the number of LED lamps 3 used for one lamp body 10 is overwhelmingly smaller than that of the configuration of the conventional example.
[0015]
However, in recent years, there has been a remarkable increase in the amount of light per unit due to performance improvement due to whitening of the emission color of the LED lamp 3 or mass production of the large power consumption type LED lamp 3. Even when the number of used lamps is reduced, the required brightness as a vehicular lamp can be ensured.
[0016]
With the configuration described above, in the present invention, as shown in FIG. 2, it is not necessary to attach a dedicated board or a circuit on which the LED lamp is mounted in the lamp body 10. The vehicular lamp is completed by attaching the LED light source 1 to the lamp body 10 by, for example, a bayonet mechanism. That is, the light source portion does not require a dedicated component corresponding to each lamp body 10, and the component It is possible to achieve commonality and to reduce the number of production steps.
[0017]
In addition, by using the LED light source 1 with the socket 2 including the control circuit 5 according to the present invention, the lamp body 10 can be used as both the incandescent light source and the LED light source 1 as a light source, and the same production line is used. In the market, in the event of a disconnection of the light source, the light source available at that time can be replaced.
[0018]
It should be noted that the socket 2 may have the same structure as that of a conventional product, such as a detachable structure with respect to the lamp body 10 and a light source position. The connector terminal 4 is commonly used as this kind of vehicle wiring. It suffices if there is some difference in the shape of the portion in which the control circuit 5 is housed, but this does not impair the substitutability described above.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, there is provided an LED light source used as a light source of a vehicle lamp, wherein the LED light source is provided with at least one LED lamp mounted on a tip end side of a socket adapted to the vehicle lamp. A connector terminal for supplying power to the LED lamp is attached to an end side, and the inside of the socket between the LED lamp and the connector terminal is provided with the LED lamp according to a use purpose of the vehicle lamp. The LED light source for vehicle lamps incorporates a control circuit for matching with the vehicle power supply. Conventionally, the LED lamps are built into the lamp body, requiring special parts for each model, increasing the number of assembly steps. In addition, the number of parts has increased and the management of parts has become complicated, but according to the present invention, an LED light source for a vehicle lamp is shared by various lamps. And in the assembly of a line in the vehicle lighting device of the parts it is unnecessary, in which exhibits an extremely excellent effect in improving the productivity and the cost reduction.
