流し台や洗面化粧台に備える水栓として、図4に示すように吐水口部を引き出して使えるようにしたものが従来から知られている。従来の水栓は、内部を中空にした水栓本体101に可撓性ホース102を挿通し、可撓性ホース102の一端に吐水口部103を設け、他端を水栓本体101の流出管104と接続されている。また、吐水口部103は、水栓本体101のスパウト105の吐水口保持部106に取付けられ、水栓本体101は流し台や洗面化粧台の天板107に固定して使用されるものである。
一方、近年の水栓は意匠性の向上を図るため、例えばスパウトの外観は、逆J字状の曲面形状を有したり、コンパクトな形状となっている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
前述のような水栓では、図4に示す従来の水栓と比べると、可撓性ホースを通す水栓本体の中空部の形状が、複雑で狭くなる。そのため、抜出した吐水口部をスパウトに差込むとき、可撓性ホースがスパウトの内壁に緩衝し、差込みにくくなり操作性が悪化する。さらに、吐水口部がスパウトに保持できなくなるといった問題が生じる可能性もある。
そこで、本発明では上記の問題点を解決するため、流体の流入口と流出口を有する水栓本体と吐水ヘッドを有する吐水部と前記水栓本体の流出口と前記吐水ヘッドを接続する可撓性ホースとを有し、前記吐水ヘッドが前記吐水部から抜差し可能な水栓において、前記可撓性ホースと前記水栓本体の流出口との間に前記吐水ヘッドの差込み操作性を容易にするために弾性力を有する連結ホースを設けたことを特徴とする水栓装置を提供するものである。

このようにして、流し台や洗面化粧台に設置された水栓本体10および吐水部21は、吐水ヘッド24をスパウト23から抜出して使用するときは、可撓性ホース26が引張られるとともに連結ホース14も引張られた状態になる。吐水ヘッド24をスパウト23に差込む時、スパウト23の内壁28と可撓性ホース26が多少干渉しても連結ホース14の弾性力で可撓性ホース26が連結ホース14の方へ引張られるため、容易に吐水ヘッド24を差込むことができ、良好な操作性が得られる。
尚、上記実施例では、水栓本体と吐水部を別体の構成としたが、一体として水栓本体を構成してもよい。
