図1および図2に示すように、このクレーン装置1は、側面視が門型状にされるとともに底部の前後位置にタイヤ式走行駆動装置2が設けられた左右一対の門型の側部フレーム3,3およびこれら両側部フレーム3,3同士を連結する複数の連結部材4により形成されたクレーン本体5と、このクレーン本体5の上部位置で且つ走行方向と直交する水平方向で設けられた陸側ガーダ部(第1ガーダ部)6と、この陸側ガーダ部6の海側先端部に水平支持ピン7を介して鉛直面内で揺動自在に連結された海側ガーダ部(第2ガーダ部)8と、陸側ガーダ部6に配置されて当該海側ガーダ部8をその使用状態である水平姿勢(イ)と船舶との接触を回避し得るほぼ鉛直に起立した起立姿勢(傾動姿勢と称してもよい)(ロ)との間で揺動させる揺動用ウインチ装置(揺動装置)9と、水平姿勢(イ)の海側ガーダ部8と陸側ガーダ部6とに亘って移動自在に設けられるとともに荷物Wを吊持し得る吊持装置10が具備された移動台車11とから構成されている。
