【発明の属する技術分野】
本発明は、Ｗｅｂページをはじめとする電子情報を閲覧表示するための技術に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】
近年、インターネットや企業内イントラネット等のネットワークの発展にはめざましいものがあり、多くの人がこれらのネットワークを利用して情報の入手、発信を行なっている。このようなネットワークを利用して情報を入手する場合、ユーザは、自らのコンピュータにＷｅｂページのアドレス情報であるＵＲＬ（Ｕｎｉｆｏｒｍ Ｒｅｓｏｕｒｃｅ Ｌｏｃａｔｏｒ）を入力することによってＷｅｂページを表示したり、また、関連付けられたＷｅｂページに移動することにより、必要な情報が記載されたページを表示する。ここで、ＵＲＬは文字や記号の羅列であったりして記憶しづらく、殊に長いＵＲＬアドレスの場合には極めて入力が面倒となる。そこで、従来からブラウザと呼ばれる情報閲覧表示システムでは、通称ブックマークと呼ばれる一種のしおりを、表示されているＷｅｂページに設定し、ブックマークに係わる情報を自らのコンピュータ内に記憶して次回からのＵＲＬへのアクセスに際しての入力を省略して容易にアクセスする機能を有している。

これらの例としては、Ｎｅｔｓｃａｐｅ社のＮｅｔｓｃａｐｅ Ｎａｖｉｇａｔｏｒ（登録商標）においては「ブックマーク」、また、Ｍｉｃｒｏｓｏｆｔ社のＭｉｃｒｏｓｏｆｔ Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ Ｅｘｐｌｏｒｅｒ（登録商標）においては「お気に入り」と呼ばれている。
しかし、近年のインターネットの隆盛によって文章の電子化はますます進み、これに伴い、小説、雑誌などの図書、コンピュータ関連のマニュアル等もＷｅｂページ化が進んでいる。これらの中にはｌ度では読みきれるものばかりではなく何日もかけて読む文章も少なくないが、従来のＷｅｂブラウザはＵＲＬを記憶するしおり機能は有していても、そのＷｅｂページ内のどの部分かを記憶し、即座に移動できる高度なしおり機能は備わっていない。また、Ｗｅｂ上の文章では書籍のようにページ数という概念がないため前回までに読んだ部分を探しにくい。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】
このため、Ｗｅｂブラウザで前回までに読んだ部分を探すためには、スクロールバーの位置で見当をつけた後、膨大な量の文章から内容を目で見て確認する必要がある。Ｗｅｂ上の文章が細かく章立てされているならば、前回までに自分が読んだ部分を記憶することは比較的容易であるし、目次に張られたリンクによって目的の章に即座に移動できる。しかし、そのように細かく章立てされたマニュアルにおいても、次回に読むまでに時間が空いてしまう場合や、似たようなマニュアルをいくつも参照している場合などは、前回自分がどの部分まで読んだかを忘れてしまう。

また、小説のように細かく章立てされていない文章においては、その内容を見て、自分が読んだかどうかの記憶によって前回自分がどの部分まで読んだかを判断しなければならないし、場合によっては自分がまだ読んでいない部分を読んだと勘違いし、ミステリー小説の犯人など肝心な内容を先読みしてしまい、読書の楽しみが失われてしまうことも考えられる。

本発明の目的は、上記の問題点を解決するため、インターネットのＷｅｂページをはじめイントラネットや他のネットワークにおいてブラウザによりディスプレイに表示して閲覧するひとかたまりの電子情報（以下情報ページと呼ぶ）であって、現にブラウザで閲覧している特定の箇所をしおり登録して、再びブラウザに前記特定の箇所を再表示させることにある。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記課題を解決するために、本出願の請求項１に記載の発明は、ディスプレイに表示中の閲覧表示画面における指定箇所をしおり登録する指示入力により前記指定箇所に係わる情報ページ内にある文字から前記情報ページ内に唯一存在するキーワードを生成する手段と、前記情報ページの所在情報、前記キーワード及びしおり登録名をしおり登録情報として記憶部に格納する手段と、しおり表示する指示入力により前記しおり登録情報を呼び出し、前記キーワードを含む個所をディスプレイに表示する手段としてコンピュータを機能させることを特徴とする情報閲覧表示プログラムである。

しおり登録する箇所として閲覧表示画面内のカーソル位置あるいはカーソルで選択した文字（本明細書においては、文字には記号も含まれ、そして複数文字も含まれるものとする。）により指定されて登録指示されると、所定の手順で前記指定箇所に係わる周囲の文字を順次追加しながら文字列をつくり、文字列が情報ページの中で唯一存在する文字列になるまで情報ページ内の全文検索と周囲の文字の追加を繰り返し、情報ページ内で唯一の文字列（本明細書においては、単一の文字も含まれるものとする。）となったときの文字列をキーワードとして決定する。しおり登録情報として情報ページの所在情報であるＵＲＬ、前記キーワード及び前記しおり登録名をパーソナルコンピュータの記憶部に格納しておくことにより、しおり登録された箇所を再び閲覧表示する場合には、前記しおり登録情報を呼び出し、記録されている前記ＵＲＬによりＷｅｂサーバからＷｅｂページ情報として情報ページを取り込み、情報ページの中から前記キーワードを検索する。検索は、例えば、従来のブラウザが有している文字列検索機能により行う。前記キーワードは、Ｗｅｂページが更新されない限り唯一の文字列であるため、ディスプレイ表示画面に唯一の検索結果として表示される。

また、請求項２に記載の発明によれば、しおり登録情報として情報ページの所在情報であるＵＲＬ、前記キーワード、前記キーワードと前記ディスプレイの表示画面との相対位置及び前記しおり登録名を保持している。例えば、前記キーワードと前記ディスプレイの表示画面との相対位置を、ディスプレイ制御部の保持する前記ディスプレイ上の水平及び垂直位置アドレス情報を受けて登録情報の一つとして保持する。しおり登録された箇所を再び閲覧表示する場合には、前記しおり登録情報を呼び出し、記録されている前記ＵＲＬによりＷｅｂサーバからＷｅｂページ情報を情報ページとして取り込み、情報ページの中から前記キーワードを検索する。検索の結果、前記キーワードが検出される。つぎに、前記ディスプレイの表示画面と前記キーワードとの前記相対位置情報から、しおり登録時と同じ位置に前記キーワードをディスプレイの表示画面に表示する。

さらに、請求項３に記載の発明によれば、しおり登録情報として情報ページの所在情報であるＵＲＬ、前記キーワード、前記指定箇所と前記ディスプレイの表示画面との相対位置情報及び前記しおり登録名を保持しているので、前記指定箇所として、ディスプレイの表示画面上のカーソルの位置している点あるいはカーソルによって選択された文字列である場合には、前記指定箇所を再表示する際に、前記ディスプレイの表示画面に対して前記指定箇所をしおり登録時に選択指示した位置に表示し、かつ、カーソル位置または文字列を強調表示することもできるようになっている。

【発明の実施の形態】
図１は本発明の概要図である。１−１はネットワーク、１−２はＷｅｂサーバ、１−３はＤＮＳサーバ、１−４はパーソナルコンピュータ、１−５は情報ページ、１−６は閲覧表示画面、１−７はカーソル位置、そして１−８はキーワードである。

ネットワーク１−１は、例えば、インターネットなどのネットワークであり、Ｗｅｂサーバ１−２はＷｅｂページ１−２−２をインターネット上で開示するためのサーバであってネットワーク１−１に多数接続されている。ネットワーク１−１に接続されたドメインネームサーバであるＤＮＳサーバ１−３を介して、パーソナルコンピュータ１−４がネットワーク１−１に接続されており、Ｗｅｂページ１−２−２を閲覧するためのブラウザ（図示省略）がインストールされている。パーソナルコンピュータ１−４からＵＲＬ１−２−１を指定してアクセスするとＷｅｂサーバ１−２からＷｅｂページ１−２−２のデータを取り寄せてディスプレイ１−４−１におけるディスプレイ表示画面１−４−２上に情報ページ１−５として表示する。図１においては、ディスプレイ１−４−１の表示画面は、ディスプレイ表示画面１−４−２として拡大して表示してある。

ブラウザとしては、Ｍｉｃｒｏｓｏｆｔ社のＭｉｃｒｏｓｏｆｔ Ｉｎｔｅｒｎｅｔ ＥｘｐｌｏｒｅｒやＮｅｔｓｃａｐｅ社のＮｅｔｓｃａｐｅ Ｎａｖｉｇａｔｏｒ等がある。これらのブラウザは、閲覧中のＷｅｂページ１−２−２のネットワーク上の所在を示すＵＲＬ１−２−１を登録するしおり機能、Ｗｅｂページ１−２−２内の文字列検索機能等を有する。従来のブラウザが有しているしおり機能は、Ｗｅｂページ１−２−２を閲覧しているときにしおり登録を指示すると、前記Ｗｅｂページ１−２−２のしおり登録情報としてＵＲＬ１−２−１、しおり登録名（図示省略）等を登録し、再表示させた場合には、登録されたＷｅｂページ１−２−１の先頭を表示するようになっている。

本発明は、図１のディスプレイ表示画面１−４−２内に表示されている情報ページ１−５の一部を表示している閲覧表示画面１−６において、しおり登録する箇所として指示される文字（図示省略）やカーソル位置１−７を例えばマウス（図示省略）により選択し、所定の手順により選択された位置や文字を含む情報ページ１−５内に唯一存在するキーワード１−８を生成し、しおり表示の指示がされた場合、前記キーワード１−８、カーソル位置１−７、またはしおり登録指示した閲覧表示画面１−６を再表示しようとするものである。

説明上、情報ページ１−５は、情報ページ始端１−５−１と情報ページ終端１−５−２とをもち、前記ディスプレイ表示画面１−４−２上で上下にスクロールされるシートのように図示されている。閲覧表示画面１−６は、情報ページ１−５内で閲覧表示されている情報ページ１−５の一部であり、情報ページ１−５がディスプレイ表示画面１−４−２上で上下にスクロールされることにより表示される内容は変化する。

キーワード１−８を決定する手段は、閲覧表示画面１−６において、カーソル位置１−７でしおり登録する指示入力を例えばマウスにより行うと、本発明のプログラムは所定の手順に従い、例えば、前記位置に前後する周囲の文字を順次追加して文字列を生成する指示をし、生成された文字列毎に情報ページ１−５内で文字列検索を行い、文字列が情報ページ１−５の中で唯一存在する段階になったときの文字列をキーワードと決定することによりキーワード生成をする。

前記キーワード１−８は情報ページ１−５において唯一の文字列であるため、しおり登録情報として、情報ページ１−５として表示したＷｅｂページ１−２−２のネットワーク上の所在情報であるＵＲＬ１−２−１と共にパーソナルコンピュータ１−４の記憶部に格納しておき、しおり登録した前記カーソル位置１−７を再び閲覧表示させる場合には、前記プログラムは前記しおり登録情報を呼び出させ、記録されているＵＲＬ１−２−１によりＷｅｂサーバ１−２からＷｅｂページ１−２−２を情報ページ１−５としてパーソナルコンピュータ１−４に取り込み、情報ページ１−５の中から前記キーワード１−８を検索させる。検索は、例えば、従来のブラウザが有している文字列検索機能により行う。前記キーワード１−８は、Ｗｅｂページ１−２−２が変更されない限り唯一の文字列であるため、ディスプレイ表示画面１−４−２に表示される。

ここで、ネットワーク１−１は、インターネット以外に企業内のイントラネット、エクストラネットとよばれているネットワークでも構わない。また、パーソナルコンピュータ１−４は、その他に、ブラウザがインストールされた他の情報機器であってもよい。さらに、Ｗｅｂページ１−２−２はインターネット上で開示されたページでなくとも、イントラネット上にあるページであってブラウザで閲覧する形態のものでも構わない。

図２は、本発明の機能説明図である。パーソナルコンピュータ２−１に接続されたディスプレイ２−２には、入力部２−３であるキーボードやマウス等の入力デバイスの指示により文字等が表示される。表示制御部２−４、ブラウザ部２−５、通信部２−６、機能制御部２−７、検索機能部２−８、しおり機能部２−９は、パーソナルコンピュータ２−１にインストールされた従来のブラウザにおいても有するものである。

表示制御部２−４はディスプレイ２−２の表示画面を制御するためのものであり、ブラウザ部２−５はパーソナルコンピュータ２−１にインストールされ通信部２−６を介してネットワークからＷｅｂページのデータを取り寄せて表示制御部２−４を介してディスプレイ２−２に表示する機能を有する。機能制御部２−７はパーソナルコンピュータ２−１が有し、ＣＰＵに接続されて上記の各機能を制御する。また、検索機能部２−８、しおり機能部２−９はブラウザが有する機能であって、検索機能部２−８は一般にブラウザ部２−５によってディスプレイ２−２上に表示されるＷｅｂページ内で指定された文字列を全文検索する機能を有し、しおり機能部２−９は閲覧しているＷｅｂページのＵＲＬをしおり登録する機能である。

キーワード生成機能部２−１０は、本発明のプログラムで動作する前記パーソナルコンピュータ２−１により実現されるキーワード生成に係わる部分である。閲覧履歴情報等格納部２−１１は、パーソナルコンピュータ２−１のメモリ部又はパーソナルコンピュータ２−１に接続されたディスクドライブ等の記憶装置であって、キーワード生成機能部２−１０により生成したキーワードに係わる情報やその他のしおり登録情報を格納する。

本発明によるしおり登録としおり表示について説明する。図３は、本発明によるしおり登録・しおり表示の一例である。まず、しおり登録を説明する。マウスにより前記情報ページの閲覧表示画面内のしおり登録の箇所または文字列をカーソルで選択し（３−１）、登録ボタンを押下げる（３−２）。例えば図６に示す本発明によるブラウザのツールバーの画面例に示す「しおり（Ｓ）」を選択表示させ、さらに、表示されるプルダウンメニューの中の「しおり登録」メニューを選択表示させる。ここで、カーソルで選択されたしおり登録の箇所や文字列等を文字・記号という（以下同様）。例えば、閲覧している情報ページにおいて、しおり登録する部分の位置・文字として図５の５−１に示すように「表１１」という文字列をカーソルで反転表示させる。図６において「しおりの登録」を選択すると、図７に示すしおり登録ダイアログボックスが現れるようになっていて、しおり登録する位置・文字に好きなしおり登録名を付けて名前の欄にタイプインし、ＯＫボタンをクリックする。ここでは、名前を「しおりＡＡＡ」とする。すると、本発明のプログラムは、図４に示すキーワード生成のフローチャート例に従い、キーワードを生成する。

ここで、キーワード生成について先に詳述する。例として、図５の５−１に示すようにカーソルで選択された位置・文字は「表１１」という文字であるため、図４において、まず「表１１」という文字列を前記情報ページの中で全文検索する（Ｓ−１）。そして、全文検索の結果から「表１１」の文字列が前記情報ページの中に複数存在するか否かを判定する（Ｓ−２）。判定の結果、選択した箇所以外に該当する文字列が複数存在しないときには、前記「表１１」の文字列をキーワードとする（Ｓ−６）。

全文検索の結果、選択した箇所以外にも「表１１」という文字列が存在する場合には、図５の５−２に示すように、新たに前記「表１１」の文字列の前後に１文字を加え「を表１１に」という文字列を生成する（Ｓ−３）。次に、この「を表１１に」の文字列を再び前記情報ページの中で全文検索する（Ｓ−４）。そして、前記情報ページの中に複数存在するか否かを判定する（Ｓ−５）。複数存在しなければ、文字列「を表１１に」をキーワードとする（Ｓ−６）。複数存在すれば、再びステップ（Ｓ−３）に戻って、図５の５−３に示す「明を表１１に整」の文字を新たに生成して上記のステップを繰り返す。最後に図５の５−４に示す「説明を表１１に整理」の文字列がステップ（Ｓ−５）の判定で唯一存在すると判定したら、「説明を表１１に整理」をキーワードとして決定し、キーワードの生成プロセスが終了する。

ここで、例として上述したキーワードの生成プロセスにおいては、選択された位置・文字の前後に１文字づつを加え、図５において５−２、５−３、５−４のような例示をしたが、複数文字づつを加えていってもよいし、また、前後でなく、前又は後ろに単数又は複数文字を加えていっても構わない。さらに、加えられる文字は、しおり登録において選択された文字に、離散的な所定位置の単数又は複数の文字を加えても構わない。

つぎに図３に戻り、上記のようにしてキーワードが生成されると（３−３）、しおり登録情報、つまり、ＵＲＬ、キーワード、キーワードとディスプレイ表示画面との相対位置関係及びしおり登録名をコンピュータに記憶させる指示を出すと（３−４）、しおり登録情報としてコンピュータの記憶部に保持される（３−５）。このデータ形式を図８に示す。前記ＷｅｂページのＵＲＬ、キーワード、キーワードとディスプレイ表示画面との相対位置関係及びしおり登録名は、それぞれ対応づけられて図２の閲覧履歴情報等格納部２−１１に格納される。そして、図６に示すブラウザのツールバー画面例のように、マウスでブラウザのツールバーの「しおり（Ｓ）」を選択してプルダウンメニューを開くと、既に登録されているしおりの中に、上記で登録した「しおりＡＡＡ」が表示されるようになっている。以上が、しおり登録である。

つぎに、しおり表示の説明をする。図３において、しおり選択をし（３−６）、しおりボタンを押し下げる（３−７）。図６に示すように、既に登録されているしおりの中から、上記で登録した「しおりＡＡＡ」を選んでクリックする。これにより、本発明のプログラムは、「しおりＡＡＡ」に関する登録情報を参照させる指示をし（３−８）、しおり登録情報（３−５）から、しおり登録情報を読み出させる。そして、ＵＲＬ情報により目的のＷｅｂページにアクセスし（３−９）、Ｗｅｂページ情報を情報ページとして取り込み（３−１０）、キーワードを前記情報ページ内で全文検索させることによって前記キーワードの箇所を例えばディスプレイ表示画面の最上部に検索結果として表示させる（３−１１）。必要により、さらにキーワードとディスプレイ表示画面との相対位置の情報をもとに、キーワードを先にしおり登録した時点の閲覧表示画面と同じ位置に移動後に表示させる。図８において、キーワードとディスプレイ表示画面との相対位置の代わりに、しおり登録指示箇所である位置・文字情報とディスプレイ表示画面との相対位置を情報として保持させた場合も同様に表示される。

また、閲覧中の画面をしおり登録する場合には、例えば、図６において「しおり（Ｓ）」のプルダウンメニューの中の「しおりの登録」メニューの中に更に「画面登録」のメニューがあり（図示省略）、この「画面登録」メニューを選択すると、閲覧中の画面、例えば図１に示された閲覧表示画面１−６の左上端に対応するカーソル位置から右下端に対応するカーソル位置までの範囲の情報を図２に示すディスプレイ表示制御部２−４からキーワード生成機能部２−１０が受け取り、この範囲を選択された位置・文字とすることにより閲覧中の画面をしおり登録をする。
