Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a therapeutic device, and more particularly, to a therapeutic collar and a garment with a collar that promote early healing of atopic dermatitis and the like.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Atopic dermatitis is a type of allergic disease caused by air pollution, food pollution, house dust, mites, irritation due to mental and physical stress, and constitution including skin resistance. . The symptoms are eczema on the skin, especially those on the skin around the face and neck, with strong itching. Not only adults, but also infants and children have many symptoms, and the number has been increasing rapidly in recent years.
[0003]
In particular, as a cause of deterioration of atopic dermatitis in infants and children, scratching in a sleep state can be cited. This is because a patient unconsciously scratches an affected part with his / her finger due to an increase in itch accompanying a rise in skin temperature during sleep. This causes new skin damage to the pruritus area and causes bacterial infection such as Staphylococcus aureus resident on the skin surface, thereby causing a vicious cycle in which the inflammation further induces itching. Infants do not understand the language even if the caregiver or parent instructs them not to scratch. In the case of infants, even if they can understand the words, if they fall asleep, they will scrape the affected part unconsciously, so it is useless to give instructions.
[0004]
A glove that covers the fingers of a patient is known as a tool for preventing this scraping action. The glove is made of a cloth such as soft cotton, and prevents the affected part from being damaged as much as possible during the above-mentioned scraping action. Further, there is a glove having a structure in which fingers are covered with a double bag material (see Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 9-59809). Since these inventions do not allow direct contact with nails or fingers, they can somewhat alleviate the damage to the affected area. However, since these allow the fingers to touch the affected area even through the cloth, the vicious circle due to scraping cannot be completely cut off. Therefore, its therapeutic effect was not satisfactory.
[0005]
The mechanism of the vicious circle due to scraping is as follows. When the patient scrapes the affected area, the skin condition is deteriorated, and the barrier function of the stratum corneum is reduced, thereby facilitating penetration of the stimulating factor. The invading antigens cause immune abnormalities and at the same time enhance the allergic inflammatory response. Then, the deterioration of the skin condition due to the inflammation causes the barrier function of the stratum corneum of the skin to be further reduced, and a vicious cycle is repeated. It may not be possible to alleviate atopic dermatitis without completely breaking this vicious cycle.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
The most important thing in the treatment of atopic dermatitis is to completely cut off the vicious circle of scraping. For this purpose, the finger and the affected part may be physically blocked so that the finger does not reach the affected part.
[0007]
An object of the present invention is to provide a therapeutic instrument that completely cuts off the vicious cycle by physically blocking the hand of the patient from directly touching the affected area, thereby preventing the inflammation of the affected area from worsening, and promptly improving symptoms. To provide.
[0008]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The number in parentheses in the following description in which the means for solving the problem is expressed in accordance with the claims indicates at least one of a plurality of embodiments in which the matters described in the claims are described in detail below. It is shown that they correspond to members, processes, and operations of one form. However, the solution of the present invention is not to be interpreted as being limited to the members of the embodiment indicated by the numerals, and the correspondence relation is clear. It is to make it.
[0009]
The treatment collar (1) according to the invention is made of a flexible material, which can be attached around the patient's neck by joining one end (2) to the other end (3). You can do it.
[0010]
Further, the treatment collar (1) according to the present invention has a fan shape and is made of a thermoplastic synthetic resin material such as plastic or polyethylene, and its inner peripheral portion is made of a 100% cotton material. A lip (4) is attached and can be attached in a shade around the patient's neck by joining its end (2) to the other end (3).
[0011]
When the treatment collar (1) is attached around the patient's neck, the angle between the treatment collar (1) and the horizontal plane is preferably about 30 degrees on the left and right sides, about 20 degrees on the front side, and about 60 degrees on the back side. .
[0012]
Further, it is preferable that the treatment collar (1) is formed of a transparent member. Further, the fan-shaped member of the treatment collar (1) may be provided with an air hole (10) having a diameter of about 3 mm.
[0013]
The treatment collar (1) may be provided with two handles (19a, 19b, 19c, 19d) on the rear and two handles on the front. Then, a string-shaped member (20) is attached to each of the two handles (19a, 19b) on the rear surface, and they are joined under the armpit of the patient to the two handles (19c, 19d) on the front surface, respectively. (1) may be attached around a patient's neck.
[0014]
Furthermore, the treatment collar (1) according to the present invention is characterized in that the joining member (16) is arranged on the inner peripheral edge (4) so that it can be joined to the collar portion (14) of the garment (12). Things.
