Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a reproducing apparatus, and more particularly to an apparatus for reproducing an information signal in accordance with reproduction list information indicating a procedure for reproducing an information signal.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art Conventionally, when reproducing an image signal recorded on a tape in a camera-integrated VTR, a moving image or a still image signal recorded on the tape is sequentially reproduced in the recording order.
Some commercial VTRs use a recorded scene number and a recording position of the scene to realize program reproduction.
[0003]
On the other hand, in reproduction-only video software using a disk medium such as a video CD or DVD, there is an application called interactive software. The interactive software stores a plurality of pieces of moving image information and a reproduction procedure (program) in an optical disc in advance, waits for a branch selection instruction from a user at a predetermined reproduction position according to the reproduction program, and selectively reproduces a reproduction path according to the user instruction. Things. As a specific example of the interactive software, there is a multi-story drama in which the story progress changes according to the selection result of the operator. However, the reproduction position, the selection path, and the like are programmed in advance for viewing.
[0004]
In recent years, video cameras using a disk medium as a storage medium have been commercialized. In a video camera using a disk medium, since the data of each shot scene is stored as a file in a recording medium, each scene can be accessed easily and at high speed during reproduction. Further, if the access speed of the recording information is increased, the recording / reproducing operation and the reproduction of a plurality of recording information may be simultaneously processed.
[0005]
In such a device, even if the user freely programs each recorded scene, the program can be seamlessly reproduced. The program contents are expected to be capable of reproducing complex programs such as a plurality of reproduction paths, arbitrary reproduction sections, various reproduction effect functions, and link functions at arbitrary positions and sections.
[0006]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
In reproduction-only video software such as a video CD or a DVD using the above-described optical disk, a reproduction position, selection path information, and the like are recorded on the optical disk in advance as a program and distributed. Therefore, there is sufficient time for creating a program, and dedicated equipment can be used. In addition, since it is assumed that the program is viewed, it is possible to optimally program the program. In addition, in multi-story and interactive reproduction, it is important to create unexpected content for the user. For example, presenting a playback list before playing back the content impairs the interest of the viewer, such that the viewer can grasp the entire content before viewing the content. Therefore, there has been no method of displaying such a multi-story reproduction program or recording and editing by a user.
[0007]
On the other hand, in a video camera using a disk medium, the user can freely program each recorded scene, and the contents of the program include a plurality of reproduction paths, arbitrary reproduction sections, various reproduction effect functions, and arbitrary positions. It is feasible to create a complex program such as a section link function.
[0008]
However, when a complicated program is created, it is questioned at the time of creation of the program whether or not an optimal program has been set at the time of appreciation. If the viewer is the photographer himself, it is easy to grasp the intended program, but in other cases, the program is not always optimal. Therefore, some ingenuity is required at the time of appreciation.
[0009]
When dubbing an image signal reproduced according to a reproduction list programmed in such a complicated manner, a content desired by the user is not always reproduced. Further, it is not known whether or not the reproduction will be performed in the expected reproduction path. Further, when a problem occurs in the reproduced content, the reproduction may be stopped. For this reason, it becomes very inconvenient, for example, during dubbing reproduction, it is not possible to leave the device.
[0010]
An object of the present invention is to solve such a problem.
[0011]
Another object of the present invention is to make it possible to easily recognize a reproduction procedure when reproducing an information signal such as an image or a sound according to a reproduction list.
[0012]
Still another object of the present invention is to enable selection of an optimum reproduction path even when a plurality of reproduction paths are set by a reproduction list.
[0013]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
In order to achieve the above object, according to the present invention, a reproducing unit for reproducing a plurality of pieces of information data from a recording medium, and information on a plurality of playlists each showing a procedure for reproducing the plurality of pieces of information data are displayed on a display device Display control means, wherein the display control means, on the same screen, can identify a playlist having a plurality of playback paths and information of a playlist having no plurality of playback paths among the plurality of playlists. Is displayed.

[0055]
If the next reproduction path is not instructed before the end of the information file currently being reproduced, the reproduction operation is suspended at that point and the user waits until the next file is selected.
[0056]
As described above, when the reproduction path is not selected in advance, the user can arbitrarily select the next reproduction file at the branch point of the reproduction path.
[0057]
As described above, when a plurality of reproduction paths are set in the reproduction list, the user can arbitrarily select a reproduction path. However, when there are a plurality of reproduction lists, the user sets the reproduction path each time. This can be bothersome. Therefore, in the present embodiment, a function is provided for automatically selecting a reproduction path according to a predetermined condition.
[0058]
For example, it has a function of automatically selecting a reproduction path based on a user's operation history as a first selection condition. That is, in this case, the
[0059]
Further, the type of the information file specified in the playlist can be used as the second selection condition. For example, among the information files specified in the playlist, a configuration in which only a video file is reproduced, or a configuration in which a file including only audio is selected and reproduced is conceivable. Further, it is also possible to select and reproduce only a specific type of file according to the type of additional information added to each file.
[0060]
Furthermore, it is also possible to select a reproduction path that contains the most files of a specific type, or, conversely, a reproduction path that contains the least number of files of a specific type. Further, it is possible to select a reproduction path in which several types of files are included at a predetermined ratio.
[0061]
For example, by setting such automatic playback when the user performs playback according to the playlist file, there is no need for the user to select a playback path.
[0062]
Now, as an application example of a system using a video camera as in the present embodiment, dubbing by connecting the
[0063]
At this time, the information data reproduced according to the reproduction list can be transmitted to the recording device and dubbed.
[0064]
At this time, if a plurality of playback paths are set in the selected playlist, according to the present embodiment, if the user selects a playback path in advance and starts dubbing as shown in FIG. Since it is set, the user does not need to air to the place after dubbing starts.

[0069]
If the reproduction by the reproduction list has been instructed, it is further detected whether or not the dubbing mode has been set (step S1003). When the dubbing mode is set, it is determined whether or not there is a file whose reproduction is prohibited (copy prohibition) in the disc D (step S1004). If the reproduction prohibition file is included, the fact is indicated on the display unit 109. The display is completed, and the reproduction process ends. If the reproduction prohibition file does not exist, information indicating that the dubbing mode has been set is displayed (step S1005).
[0070]
Thereafter, a list of playlists is displayed as shown in FIG. 3 (step S1006), and the process waits until a playlist is selected by the user (step S1007). When the reproduction list is selected, the contents are analyzed (step S1008), and it is determined whether or not there is a problem in performing the reproduction (step S1009). Here, if there is a defect such as a defect of the file information, a defect of the stream in the file, or a defect of the reproduction path instruction, the defect is repaired as much as possible. If there is a defect that cannot be solved even by this repair work, alternative processing such as replacing the file itself, skipping unreproducible data, and switching the reproduction path is performed. Then, the fact is displayed on the display unit 109 (step S1010).
[0071]
After analyzing such a playlist, the structure of the playlist is displayed as shown in FIG.
[0072]
Next, it is detected whether or not there is a plurality of reproduction paths in the selected reproduction list, and if there is only one reproduction path, reproduction according to the reproduction list is started immediately after waiting for a user's instruction.
[0073]
Further, when a plurality of reproduction paths are set, a manual path selection by the user is further detected (step S1013), and when a reproduction path image is manually selected, reproduction is started on the selected reproduction path (step S1013). S1017). In addition, when the reproduction path is not manually selected, the apparatus further detects whether the dubbing mode is set, and when the dubbing mode is set, the reproduction path is automatically set according to the plurality of conditions as described above. A selection is made (step S1016). Then, the reproduction is started after waiting for the reproduction start (dubbing start) instruction from the user (step S1017).
[0074]
If the dubbing mode is not set, it is determined whether or not the automatic path selection mode is set. If the automatic selection mode is set, the reproduction path is automatically set according to the plurality of conditions as described above. (Step S1016). Then, the reproduction is started after waiting for a reproduction start instruction from the user (step S1017).
[0075]
At this time, the
[0076]
If the automatic path selection mode is not set, the user sets the manual selection at the branch point of the reproduction path, and starts reproduction.
[0077]
Thereafter, when the reproduction processing according to each reproduction list ends (step S1018), the processing in the reproduction mode ends.
[0078]
As described above, in the present embodiment, when performing reproduction by a play list, the structure of a plurality of play lists recorded on the disc is analyzed and displayed, so that the contents of the play list selected by the user (playback procedure) Can be easily grasped. Also, at the time of displaying the list of playlists, since the playlist having a plurality of playback paths is displayed so as to be identified, the user can easily recognize the playlist having a plurality of playback paths.
[0079]
In addition, since a playback path for a playback list having a plurality of playback paths can be selected in advance before the playback is started, the playback processing is not interrupted each time at a branch point after the playback is started, so that the playback process is comfortable. Reproduction processing can be realized.
[0080]
In addition, in the case where the user does not select a reproduction path by automatically selecting and reproducing the reproduction path in accordance with predetermined conditions such as a past operation history and a specified file type, for a plurality of reproduction paths. However, the reproduction processing according to the reproduction list can be realized on the optimum reproduction path.
[0081]
In addition, when dubbing data reproduced according to the playlist, if the user does not set a reproduction path, the reproduction path is automatically selected. And dubbing can be performed by selecting an optimal reproduction path, thereby preventing a breakdown.
[0082]
In the above-described embodiment, a playlist having a plurality of playback paths is selected. However, when a playback path is not manually selected, a playback path is automatically selected in step S1016 in FIG. In the dubbing mode, the reproduction according to the reproduction list and the dubbing process may be prohibited unless the reproduction path is selected by the user.
[0083]
In this case, as shown in the flowchart of FIG. 11, when the reproduction path is not manually selected in step S1013 and the dubbing mode is set in step S1014, it is determined that dubbing is not possible because the reproduction path is not set. The information is displayed, and the reproduction process is stopped (step S1022). Other processes are the same as those in FIG.
[0084]
As described above, in the dubbing mode, when a playlist having a plurality of playback paths is selected, the user is prohibited from performing dubbing without selecting a playback path, thereby preventing careless dubbing. can do.
[0085]
In the above embodiment, the case where the present invention is applied to an apparatus for recording and reproducing image data on an optical disk medium has been described. However, other than this, a semiconductor memory medium such as a memory card or other sound random The present invention can be similarly applied to an apparatus that records and reproduces information data such as image data on an access medium and reproduces the information using a reproduction list, and has the same effect.
[0086]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, since the information of a playlist having a plurality of playback paths is displayed, when an information signal such as an image or a sound is played according to the playlist, the playback procedure can be easily recognized. It becomes.
[0087]
Further, according to another invention of the present application, a plurality of playback paths included in the playlist are displayed, and an arbitrary playback path can be selected from the plurality of playback paths. Even if the player is in the position, the optimum reproduction path can be selected.
