Abstract
Description
【0001】
この移動通信端末MSは、基地局BSとの間の無線アクセス方式としてCDMA(Code Division Multiple Access)方式を採用したものである。
【0016】
【0028】
時計19は、RTC(Real Time Clock)を用いて計時動作を行う。

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to an information terminal device such as a personal computer and a mobile phone, and more particularly to a device having a timed reproduction function of content information.
[0002]
[Prior art]
2. Description of the Related Art In recent years, many information terminal devices such as notebook personal computers and mobile phones have a function of receiving content via a communication network or reproducing content information recorded on a recording medium. The use of such a device is very convenient because the user can play and enjoy content information including favorite music and video regardless of location.
[0003]
By the way, recently, content information in which a reproduction valid period and a reproduction valid period are set for protecting copyright has been increasing. When reproducing this type of content information, the conventional information terminal device compares a reproduction validity period and a reproduction validity period set in the content information with a current time measured by a built-in clock. Then, if the current time is within the reproduction validity period or the reproduction validity period, the reproduction operation of the content information is executed.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, in general, a built-in clock of an information terminal device has a time measurement error determined by a reference oscillator. For this reason, a device having a built-in clock having a large timing error cannot accurately manage the playback time limit of the content information. In addition, a built-in clock provided in this type of device is provided with a time adjustment function by a manual operation, so that the user can freely adjust the time. For this reason, if the user intentionally changes the time of the built-in clock, the content information can be reproduced even after the expiration date, and as a result, illegal use of the content information cannot be prevented.
[0005]
The present invention has been made in view of the above circumstances, and its purpose is to reduce the timekeeping error of the built-in clock and the effect of manual adjustment of the timekeeping by the user to enable accurate playback time limit management. To provide an information terminal device capable of effectively preventing illegal use of content information.
[0006]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
According to a first aspect of the present invention, there is provided an information terminal device having a function of reproducing content information having a predetermined reproduction expiration date. And receiving means for receiving the standard time data transmitted by the receiving means, and determining whether or not the receiving means can receive the standard time data. Then, when it is determined that the standard time data can be received by the reception determination unit, the clock time of the clock is corrected based on the standard time data received by the reception unit, and the reproduction expiration date of the content information is If the time of the clock is within the reproduction expiration date, the reproduction of the content information is enabled. On the other hand, when the reception determining means determines that the standard time data cannot be received, it determines whether or not the current time measured by the watch has been corrected by the user. Then, when it is determined that no correction has been made by the user, the content information can be reproduced if the current time of the clock is within the validity period of the content information. It is.
[0007]
Therefore, according to the first aspect, the reproduction time limit management of the content information is performed according to the standard time. For this reason, it is possible to eliminate the influence of the clock error of the built-in clock and accurately determine the reproduction time limit, and to eliminate the influence of the intentional adjustment of the clock time by the user and prevent the illegal use of the content information. .
[0008]
Moreover, according to the present invention, even when the standard time data cannot be received, if it is confirmed that the time of the internal clock has not been changed by the user, there is a large difference between the time of the internal clock and the standard time. If not, the expiration date of the content information is determined. Therefore, even when the user is in a place where standard time data cannot be received, it is possible to reproduce the content information while preventing unauthorized use.
[0009]
Further, the present invention further comprises a period determining means for determining whether or not the current time of the clock is within a predetermined time from the clock time previously corrected by the time correcting means, wherein the current clock time of the clock is determined by a user. If it is determined that the content information can be reproduced based on the current time of the clock, when it is determined that no correction has been made and that the time is within a predetermined time from the previous correction time based on the standard time data, Is also characterized. With such a configuration, it is possible to determine whether or not the content information can be reproduced in consideration of the error of the built-in clock, and it is possible to more accurately determine whether or not the content can be reproduced. This effect is effective in managing the playback time limit of a terminal having a large clock error of the built-in clock.
[0010]
Further, when it is determined that the clock time of the clock is corrected by the user, a message indicating that the content information cannot be reproduced may be generated to notify the user. Further, even when it is determined that the current clock time of the watch has exceeded a predetermined time from the last correction time based on the standard time data, a message indicating that the content information cannot be reproduced is generated and notified to the user. It is good to configure. With this configuration, the user can clearly know the reason why the content information is not reproduced.
[0011]
According to a second aspect of the present invention, prior to the correction of the internal clock based on the received standard time data, an inquiry is made to the user as to whether or not the internal clock can be adjusted, and when the user inputs a response to the inquiry that the adjustment is permitted. Means for correcting the clock based on the standard time data. Then, the reproduction time limit of the content information is determined based on the corrected time of the internal clock, and the reproduction of the content information is enabled when the reproduction time limit is not reached.
[0012]
Therefore, in the second invention, as in the first invention, the playback time limit of the content information is determined according to the standard time. For this reason, it is possible to eliminate the influence of the clock error of the built-in clock and accurately determine the playback time limit, and it is possible to eliminate the influence of the intentional change of the clock time by the user and prevent the illegal use of the content information. .
[0013]
Moreover, in the second invention, the timekeeping time of the built-in clock is corrected after the user's consent is obtained. Therefore, for example, the user intentionally sets the built-in clock to be shifted from the current time without injustice. In such a case, the user can recognize that the built-in clock is automatically corrected when the content information is reproduced. Therefore, it is possible to take measures such as returning the built-in clock to the original time after the reproduction of the content information.
[0014]

In addition, when the time of the
[0067]
(Other embodiments)
In the first and second embodiments, when the system time data broadcast from the base station BS cannot be received, it is determined that the time corrected last time is not corrected by the user, and a predetermined period from the time of the last correction is set. When it is determined that the time has not elapsed, the expiration date of the content information is determined using the current time of the clock. However, the present invention is not limited to this. The system time data obtained last time is stored, and when the content information reproducing operation is performed, the stored system time data is added to the time when the previous system time data was obtained and the current time. The correction may be made by adding the difference time, and the expiration date may be managed based on the corrected time. With this configuration, it is possible to manage the reproduction expiration date of the content information regardless of whether the user has adjusted the clock. In addition to the clock that can be corrected by the user, it is also possible to provide a clock for expiration date management that cannot be corrected by the user. In this case, since the user cannot correct the clock, the validity period of the content information is determined using the current time of the clock when it is determined that the predetermined period has not elapsed since the last correction.
[0068]
Further, in each of the above-described embodiments, the content information for which the reproduction expiration date is set has been described as an example. However, the present invention is similarly applicable to content information for which the reproduction expiration date is set. In this case, the reproduction validity period is calculated based on the use start time and the reproduction validity period. That is, the reproduction validity period is converted into the reproduction validity period, and thereafter, it is determined whether or not the reproduction validity period is within the validity period.
[0069]
In the first embodiment, when the system time data cannot be received, the current time of the
[0070]
Further, in the first and second embodiments, when the built-in clock is corrected based on the system time data, the user's permission may be obtained similarly to the third embodiment. With this configuration, for example, if the user intentionally sets the clock to deviate from the current time without injustice, the user automatically adjusts the built-in clock when playing the content information You can recognize that it was done.
[0071]
In addition, the gist of the present invention also relates to a method of acquiring standard time data, the content and configuration of a message to be displayed, the configuration of a content information reproduction control function, the control procedure and control content, the type and form of content information, the configuration, and the like. Various modifications can be made without departing from the scope of the present invention.
[0072]
【The invention's effect】
As described in detail above, according to the present invention, in an information terminal device having a function of reproducing content information whose reproduction expiration date is predetermined, the standard time data transmitted by the transmitting station is received, and the received standard time Modify the built-in clock based on the data. Then, the corrected time of the built-in clock is compared with the reproduction expiration date of the content information, and if the reproduction expiration date is not exceeded, the reproduction of the content information is enabled. Further, even when the standard time data cannot be received, if it is determined that the user has not corrected the built-in clock last time, it is determined that there is no large difference from the standard time, and the current time of the built-in clock is measured. If the time is within the reproduction expiration date of the content information, reproduction is enabled.
[0073]
Therefore, according to the present invention, it is possible to always determine the playback time limit of the content information according to the standard time without relying on the built-in clock, thereby reducing the clocking error of the built-in clock and the effect of manual adjustment of the clocked time by the user. Thus, it is possible to provide an information terminal device that enables accurate reproduction time limit management, thereby effectively preventing illegal use of content information.
