Abstract
Description
【0001】

FIG. 2 is a diagram illustrating an example of the flow of processing related to ticketing in the present embodiment. The issuance of a gift certificate in the present embodiment has four main patterns. There are four patterns: "mail order", "prize exchange", "large customers", and "advance (ticketing)".
[0023]
In the case of "mail order sales", the customer sends an application form containing information on gift coupons to the gift voucher issuing company, or connects to the host terminal via a network such as the Internet using its own terminal, Send information about gift certificates. When the application is sent, the operator of the gift voucher issuing company inputs information on the gift voucher to the host terminal. The information on the gift certificate includes, for example, the number of gift certificates for each type, the payment method, the address of the self (applicant), the name, etc., the address and the name of the addressee, and the sender of the gift certificate. If you want to be a person other than the applicant, the address and name of the sender can be considered. The host terminal adds the order identification information and the destination identification information (here, the order number and the destination number) to the information on the gift certificate. The order number is a number given for each order. The destination number is a number assigned to each destination for a certain order. The host terminal transmits information on the gift certificate to the

In the present embodiment, “prize exchange” refers to a service for exchanging points obtained according to the usage amount of a credit card for a prize. Basically, it is the same as the case of "mail order", but in the present embodiment, in addition to the reception through the Internet, automatic reception by voice response using a telephone is also performed. In the case of “prize exchange”, a prize number may be input as information on the gift certificate, for example, instead of the number of pieces for each type of gift certificate. Then, if necessary, the prize number may be converted into the number of gift certificates for each type. After adding the order number and the destination number to the information on the gift certificate, the host terminal transmits the information on the gift certificate to the
[0026]
"Large customers" are cases where there are many recipients. The address data (address, name, etc. of the addressee) can be recorded on a recording medium such as a floppy (registered trademark) disk and sent to a gift issuing company. The destination data may be described in an application form together with information on other gift certificates, and sent to a gift certificate issuing company by mail or facsimile. Upon receiving the application form and the recording medium from the applicant, the operator of the gift voucher issuing company inputs the information relating to the gift voucher described in the application form to the terminal 31, 33, 36 or 38, and further receives the recording medium. In this case, the terminal 31, 33, 36 or 38 reads the destination data recorded on the recording medium. Further, when the destination data is received in writing, the operator may input the destination data, record the destination data on a recording medium, and have the terminal 31, 33, 36, or 38 read the destination data. The terminal 31, 33, 36, or 38 adds the order number and the destination number to the information (including the destination data) on the gift certificate. Then, the terminal 31, 33, 36 or 38 transmits information on the gift certificate to the
[0027]
“Advance” is a case where the recipient has not yet been determined, but wants to issue a gift certificate for the time being. In this case, the issued gift certificate is sent to the applicant or the sender. When the operator of the gift voucher issuing company receives the application form from the applicant, the operator inputs information on the gift voucher described in the application form to the terminal 31, 33, 36 or 38. The terminal 31, 33, 36 or 38 can order the information on the gift certificate in the form of an order number and a set number (one or more sets can be placed in one order. , Which indicates the order of the set in which the ticket was issued). Here, the set number is the same as the above-mentioned destination number. In the following description, the description is made unified with the “destination number”, but in the case of “advance”, it may be replaced with the set number. Then, the terminal 31, 33, 36 or 38 transmits information on the gift certificate to the

The operator of the gift voucher issuing company attaches a delivery note to the sealed gift voucher and sends it to the shipping company. The shipping company delivers the gift certificate to the recipient.
[0030]
In the present embodiment, in the case of “mail order sales” and “large business partners”, when printing a mailing slip, a barcode that can be linked with the ticketing system and the system of the shipping company is also sent for management and the like. Printed on the book. Before sending the gift certificate, the operator of the gift certificate issuing company causes the terminal 31 or 33 to read the barcode of the delivery note using the
