本発明は、化粧料に関する。詳しくは、清涼感を付与する化粧料において、清涼感の発現が強く、しかも発現した清涼感の持続性にも優れる化粧料に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来から、シャンプー、ヘアリンス、ヘアトニック、ヘアローション、スキンローション、リップクリーム等の化粧料には、皮膚に清涼感を付与する目的でメントールが一般に用いられている。このメントールの配合により、ある程度の清涼感を付与することができるものの、その持続性は優れるものではなく、また、清涼感の発現を増強するためには高配合量とする必要があり、皮膚刺激性や製剤の安定性に悪影響を及ぼす場合があった。

そこで、上記問題点を改善するべく、メントールと特定の増強用化合物とを併用する香料組成物（特開平８−１５７８６２）、メントール誘導体、メントール及び／又はカンファー、及び低級アルコールを特定配合量で含有する冷感化粧料（特開２０００−２３９１４２）等が提案されているが、更に清涼感の発現が強く、その持続性にも優れる化粧料が求められている。

本発明は前記従来技術に鑑みてなされたものであって、清涼感を付与する化粧料において、清涼感の発現が強く、しかも発現した清涼感の持続性にも優れる化粧料を提供することを課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
すなわち、請求項１に係る発明は、必須成分として清涼剤及びボルネオールを含有することを特徴とする化粧料に関する。
請求項２に係る発明は、前記清涼剤が、メントール、メンチルグリセリエーテル、カンファーからなる群より選ばれる１種以上であることを特徴とする請求項１に記載の化粧料に関する。
請求項３に係る発明は、更に、植物油を含有することを特徴とする請求項１又は２に記載の化粧料に関する。
請求項４に係る発明は、ボルネオール及び植物油の合計の含有量が、清涼剤１重量部に対して０．１〜２重量部であることを特徴とする請求項３に記載の化粧料に関する。
請求項５に係る発明は、前記植物油が、ユーカリ油であることを特徴とする請求項３又は４に記載の化粧料に関する。
請求項６に係る発明は、前記請求項１〜５のいずれかの化粧料よりなるスティック状化粧料に関する。

【発明の実施の形態】
本発明の化粧料は、必須成分として清涼剤とボルネオールを含有する。用いられる清涼剤としては、化粧料に配合できるものであれば特に限定されないが、例えば、メントール、メンチルグリセリエーテル、１−メンチル−３−ヒドロキシブチレート、カンファー、オイゲノール、メントン等を例示することができ、メントール、メンチルグリセリエーテル、カンファーを用いるのが好ましい。

清涼剤の含有量は、化粧料中０．１〜２．０重量％とすると良く、０．５〜１．０重量％とするのが好ましい。この理由は、含有量が０．１重量％未満の場合には、清涼感に劣るために、また、２．０重量％を超えて配合すると、過度の冷感が生じ皮膚刺激が起こる場合があるために、いずれの場合にも好ましくないからである。

本発明においては、含有される清涼剤による清涼感の発現の増強、並びにその持続性の改善のために、ボルネオールが含有される。その含有量は、化粧料中０．０１〜１．０重量％とされ、好ましくは０．１〜０．５重量％とすると良い。この理由は、含有量が０．０１重量％未満の場合には、清涼感の発現、持続性に劣るために、また、１．０重量％を超えて配合すると、ボルネオールの特異臭が生じるために、いずれの場合にも好ましくないからである。

また、本発明の化粧料においては、清涼感の発現の増強、並びにその持続性をより改善するために、植物油を含有することもできる。用いることのできる植物油としては、化粧料に配合できるものであれば特に限定されないが、例えば、ユーカリ油、アボガド油、サフラワー油、オリーブ油、ククイナッツ油、アーモンド油、ヒマワリ油、ローズヒップ油、オリーブスクワラン、カメリアオイル、キウイフルーツシード油、ツバキ油、杏仁油、ゴマ油、大豆油、ホホバ油、マカデミアンナッツ油、メドホーム油、ハッカ油、カロットオイル等を例示することができ、ユーカリ油、ハッカ油、オリーブ油、ホホバ油を用いるのが好ましく、ユーカリ油を用いるのが特に好ましい。

用いられる植物油の含有量は、化粧料中０．０１〜２．０重量％とされ、好ましくは０．１〜１．０重量％とすると良い。この理由は、含有量が０．０１重量％未満の場合には、添加の効果が望めないために、また、２．０重量％を超えて配合すると、使用感に悪影響を及ぼすために、いずれの場合にも好ましくないからである。

また、清涼剤による清涼感の増強、発現性、及び持続性をより効果的にするためには、ボルネオールと植物油の合計の含有量を、清涼剤１重量に対して０．１〜２重量部とすると良く、より好ましくは０．３〜１．５重量部とすると良い。この理由は、清涼剤１重量に対して０．１重量部未満とした場合には、清涼感発現の増強効果に劣るために、また、２重量部を超えて含有した場合には、ボルネオールの特異臭の発生や使用感が悪くなるために、いずれの場合にも好ましくないからである。

本発明に係る化粧料には、本発明の効果性を損なわない範囲であれば、上記した成分の他、多価アルコール、低級アルコール、界面活性剤、収斂剤、紫外線吸収剤、酸化防止剤、香料、防腐剤等を目的に応じて適宜配合しても良い。

尚、本発明の化粧料は、清涼感が望まれる種々の製品を指し、具体的には、柔軟化粧水、収れん化粧水、ふき取り用化粧水、アフターシェーブローション、スキンローション等の化粧水類、スキンクリーム、マッサージクリーム、クレンジングクリーム、ミルキーローション等のクリーム、リップクリーム等のスティック状化粧料、ヘアートニック、ヘアージェル、育毛剤、洗顔料、シェービングフォーム、シェービングクリーム、ボディソープ、シャンプー、ヘアリンス、ヘアトリートメント、ヘアコンディショナー、乳液類、制汗剤、シート状化粧料等の化粧料を例示することができ、なかでも、リップクリーム等のスティック状化粧料に好ましく用いることができる。
