Abstract
Description
【0001】

TECHNICAL FIELD OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire useful for improving high-speed durability and noise performance.
[0002]
Problems to be solved by the prior art and the invention
In recent years, with high performance of vehicles and development of a highway network, further high-speed durability is desired even for pneumatic tires for vehicles. When a high-speed endurance test is performed on a pneumatic tire, the damaged portion is generally concentrated on the end of the belt layer. Since the end of the belt layer has a small binding force like the free end of the cantilever, if the ground and the non-ground are repeated at high speed with the road surface, the amplitude of the outer end of the belt layer in the tire radial direction will be reduced. This is because it becomes larger and peels off from the surrounding rubber. Hitherto, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. Hei 7-144508 proposes to arrange a vibration damping rubber having a large loss tangent tan δ outside such a belt layer.
[0003]
The present inventors have conducted intensive studies to further improve high-speed durability, and arranged vibration damping rubber between the first belt ply and the second belt ply overlapping in the tire radial direction, and It has been found that it is effective to add an activator for increasing the dipole attraction to this damping rubber.
[0004]
As described above, the present invention can improve the high-speed durability by suppressing the vibration of the end of the belt layer, and can further reduce the tire noise by suppressing the vibration of the end of the belt layer. It is intended to provide a pneumatic tire.

(In the formula, R is any one of a phenyl group, a cyclohexyl group, a cyclopentyl group, a cyclopeptyl group, a 4-methylcyclohexyl group, or any two of these groups.)
[0027]
Examples of the compound containing a mercaptobenzothiazyl group include 2-mercaptobenzothiazole (MBT), N, N-dicyclohexylbenzothiazyl-2-sulfenamide (DCHBSA), dibenzothiazylsulfide (MBTS), Cyclohexylbenzothiazyl-2-sulfenamide (CBS), N-tert-butylbenzothiazyl-2-sulfenamide (BBS), N-oxydiethylenebenzothiazyl-2-sulfenamide (OBS), or N, N-diisopropylbenzothiazyl-2-sulfenamide (DPBS) and the like can be mentioned.
[0028]
Further, as the compound having a benzotriazole group, benzotriazole having an azole group bonded to a benzene ring as a mother nucleus and 2- {2′-hydroxy-3 ′-(3 ″, 4 ″, 5 ", 6" tetrahydrophthalimidomethyl) -5'-methylphenyl} -benzotriazole (2HPMMB), 2- {2'-hydroxy-5'-methylphenyl} -benzotriazole (2HMBP), 2- { 2'-hydroxy-3'-t-butyl-5'-methylphenyl {-5-chlorobenzotriazole (2HBMPCB), 2- {2'-hydroxy-3 ', 5'-di-t-butylphenyl}- 5-chlorobenzotriazole (2HDBPCB) and the like can be mentioned.
[0029]
The activator has the effect of increasing the dipole moment m as the amount of the activator increases, but if the amount of the activator is too large, the rubber reinforcing property tends to decrease. From this viewpoint, although not particularly limited, it is preferable to mix the activator in a proportion of, for example, 2 to 20 parts by weight, more preferably 5 to 15 parts by weight, based on 100 parts by weight of the rubber component.

【Example】
Based on the specifications shown in Table 1, radial tires for passenger cars with a tire size of 195 / 65R15 were prototyped and tested for high-speed durability and road noise. The test was performed as follows.
[0036]
<High-speed durability>
First, the test tire was assembled on a rim of 15 × 6JJ, filled with an internal pressure of 260 kPa, allowed to stand for 3 hours or more, and then readjusted to an internal pressure of 260 kPa. Then, the speed of the speed symbol is increased at a speed of 10 km / H without interruption at a speed of 40 km / H or 10 minutes, and the vehicle is run on a drum tester. At the same time, the maximum speed at which the tire can be run without damaging the tire is measured. did. The evaluation was indicated by an index with the speed of Comparative Example 1 being 100. The higher the value, the better.
[0037]
<Road noise>
The test tire was mounted on a 15 × 6JJ aluminum wheel rim, filled with an internal pressure of 210 kPa (same fore and aft), mounted on four wheels of a 2000 cm 3 domestic FF passenger car, and damaged by one driver Noise when traveling on a dry asphalt road surface at a speed of 60 km / H was measured with a microphone installed at the left ear of the driver's seat. In the evaluation, the noise difference when Comparative Example 1 was used as a reference value was evaluated in db (A). The minus display is good.
[0038]
<Driving stability and riding comfort>
Under the conditions of the road noise test, the vehicle traveled on a test course and was evaluated based on sensory feeling of a driver. The evaluation was performed according to the 10-point method in which Comparative Example 1 was assigned 6 points. The higher the value, the better.
Table 1 shows the test results, and Table 2 shows the specifications of the damping rubber.

[0042]
As a result of the test, it can be confirmed that, in the example, the high-speed durability is superior and the road noise is reduced as compared with the comparative example.
[0043]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the first aspect of the present invention, the vibration of the end portion of the belt layer during traveling is efficiently absorbed, the amplitude at the time of high-speed traveling is reduced, the high-speed durability is further improved, and the tire noise is reduced. can do.
[0044]
Further, as in the third aspect of the present invention, the first belt ply is different from the second belt ply in that at least one of a belt cord material, a belt cord diameter, a belt cord configuration or an end is different, so that the belt layer Various tunings are possible, and it is useful for improving high-speed durability.
[0045]
Further, as in the invention according to claim 4, the vibration damping rubber is disposed on the tire radial outside and both end portions of the first belt ply disposed on the tire radial inside, and in the tire axial direction. By regulating the width and thickness, a more effective damping effect can be exhibited.
[0046]
Further, when the thickness of the vibration-damping rubber gradually decreases inward in the tire axial direction, the vibration-damping rubber prevents a reduction in the restraining force of the belt ply and an excessive protrusion of the crown portion. The shape of the tire can be maintained. Therefore, high-speed durability can be further improved.
